Traverse the thrilling rapids of Brown’s Canyon National Monument on a half-day whitewater rafting tour. With one morning and two afternoon tours offered, you can easily find a departure time to fit with your schedule. In addition to an included helmet and life vest, you also enjoy instruction from your guide before the adventure begins. Once everyone is ready, paddle down Devil’s Punchbowl, Pinball, Big Drop, and more.
What to Expect
After arrival at the departure office our staff will get you checked in and outfitted for your adventure. After a short ride to the launch area in one of our vehicles the trip leader will provide everyone with a river orientation/safety talk outlining what to expect on the trip. The guides will then review paddling commands and maneuvering the raft down the river. Then the fun begins! Your guide and fellow crewmembers will paddle through exciting moderate level whitewater that with spectacular 14000' peaks as your backdrop. Your adventure through Brown's Canyon National Monument includes lots of fun and excitement as you weave through Pinball, barrel down Zoomflume, Big Drop, Staircase, Devils Punchbowl and many more leaving you with memories that will last a lifetime.

The water is definitely considered “warm” to locals in July, though others on my raft were kind of chilly. I thought the air felt cooler than the water. I wore my bathing suit top and Capri leggings. You will have life vests... More
The water is definitely considered “warm” to locals in July, though others on my raft were kind of chilly. I thought the air felt cooler than the water. I wore my bathing suit top and Capri leggings. You will have life vests on as well. Some wore long sleeves while others just wore swim suits. I believe there is also the option to rent wet suits, though that’s typically not needed this time of year. Hope that helps!
