    English Tea Tour
This tour was so much fun and very informative! Gail (tour guide) takes the group through town, pointing out buildings of interest and including stories about the life in Breckenridge in 1910 and history leading up to that time. The tour culminates with tea and scones (delicious) at a quaint bakery/eatery where additional information is shared with the group. If only high school history was this interesting!

    Fun and interesting walking tour
Gail was a great and knowledgeable tour guide. Since it was our first trip to Breckenridge she gave us a brief history lesson about the ski town’s history. Gail was entertaining and funny as she walked us though town and told us interesting stories that occurred in Breckenridge. I definitely recommend this walking tour.

I would have valued a bit more history interwoven into the stories. Several also were anchored in domestic violence.
More dark, than strange. I was not a fan of the domestic violence stories. Would have enjoyed a bit more history, as well as pointing out more buildings.

Strange But True walking tour in Breckenridge, Co.
We signed up for this tour rather last minute. I do have to say- paying with other then PayPal or Venmo was very difficult. I actually emailed the company to make sure our order went through because it wasn't clear and we did not receive an email receipt. Some of us would rather use other forms of payment. At any rate-we met Gail at the appointed place right on time. We walked around downtown Breckenridge and there were plenty of chances to sit down. This was very welcome as my husband has a heart condition and was having trouble adjusting to the altitude. The stories Gail told were very plausible- she is a long time resident and knew some of the people involved in some of the stories. We never once felt the tour was anything but what was advertised and we were very pleased. We highly recommend this tour to those visiting Breckenridge. One of the few activities that did not deal with Breckenridge as a mining town in the 1800's but " the new" Breckenridge as a ski " family friendly" town.

    Don't Miss This Tour!
Gail was wonderful and entertaining! The stories she told had us hooked. I would highly recommend taking this tour at the beginning of your trip, as you get to see much of downtown! My group and I found lots of places we wanted to check out. The included picture is the view from one of the places we stopped.

Highly recommend Gail as your tour guide, she was FANTASTIC! me and my 5 girl friends did a girls trip and this was on our list. we went to the later one and it was a bit cold but nothing to bad just wish I wore the correct coat! Wonderful Storyteller!
Gail was awesome! She toured us through several strange happenings around Breckenridge, and we particularly liked the unsolved mystery of Royal Scoop III, and the story of the woman in black. Very interesting, I’d love to take one of her ghost tours!

    Very informative
Gail is very pleasant as she guides you around town to various places telling stories from the past. She gives personal accounts and was delightful when answering the questions that I had about the stories she tells. When the weather was getting a bit chilly she would lead us into a building where the next thrilling tale came to life as Gail vibrantly explained the plot. Excellent tour and I would recommend anyone to enjoy the experience that would like to know a bit more about Breckenridge history or have a couple hours to spare and are looking for something to do in town. Leaves you wanting to try out the other tours Breckenridge Tours has to offer.

    English Tea Tour
We took the "English Tea Tour" last week while in Breckenridge. Our tour guide was Gertrude Engle, the banker's wife AKA Gail. I thought our tour guide Gail/Gertrude looked familiar and when back to the condo I pulled up our 2011 girls trip pictures and there she was as our tour guide. She actually had the same hat on for this tour as in 2011 (although she said she has lots of hats) and to be quite honest had not aged at all. Back in 2013 Gail started her own history tours "Breckenridge tours" as she wanted to give additional history. We learned so much history of the area and of the time period around 1910 in general. I especially liked the quiz she gave us afterwards while drinking out tea and eating our scones. She has totally researched the time period and was a knowledgeable tour guide. I highly recommend any of her tours.

    Breckenridge Ghost Tour
Breckenridge is one of our family’s favorite Colorado towns, only 90 minutes from our home in Denver. Having visited Breckenridge many times, we wished to gain a historical perspective with a macabre twist. After an internet search, we booked a tour with Gail at Breckenridge Tours. We are quite glad to have done so. Gail proved to have an extensive knowledge of the town and its past. As well, her stories were true to the haunted billing. Our family had a great time. As such, we can highly recommend Gail to provide a ghastly, interesting evening.

Very nice tour “Voices from the grave”
Gail was our guide and she seems well informed. Very considerate. Her stories and pictures were most interesting. We were very fortunate to have been the only two on the tour so we could ask many questions without worrying about monopolizing her time.

This tour is fabulous! I have taken many Ghost Walk tours including Key West, Williamsburg, and Salem. This ranks as one of my favorites! Gail is so entertaining and very knowledgeable. Breckenridge has so much creepy history to share. And it was such a pleasant surprise to find a ghost walk offered in March. It was the perfect way to end a ski day.

Gail was very informative on history, sharing other people's experiences and photos. She also brought divining rods for us to experience, which was very cool! We walked along with her to different locations of known hauntings, but due to the extreme cold temperatures, we did not complete the walking tour part. However, at a warm location and with some hot chocolate, Gail did finish her narrative and photos.

What an amazing evening. Our tour guide, Gail, was very knowledgeable and kept the whole group completely engaged. Our tour was close to two hours and we had a wonderful tour on a beautiful evening of places we had not visited on the standard historical tour (also very fun, by the way). The youngest in our group was 6 and she was a bit anxious about what we would see and hear but Gail made sure the tales were appropriate while still being fun and informative.

Gale (tour guide) was impressive. Not only did she have the subject matter nailed, she was totally engaging. Extremely interesting and entertaining tour. There's plenty of things to do in Breckenridge, and this should be on your list. Definitely recommended. Good for youngsters, as well.
