About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Voyager191985629560 contributionsTerrible Customer ServiceChanged our vehicle from Hummer to Jeep the day before we were set to take the tour. They told us the Hummer was not mechanically sound. This did not work for us because we were a party of four. Jeep would be to small for 4 plus the driver so we canceled and were told we would be refunded. We did not get the refund. We were later told it was because we did not cancel within 24 hours. They sent us an email at 10:18 the morning before our tour was scheduled. Our tour was supposed to start at 7am. That is not 24 hours notice that our vehicle was being changed so how could we have canceled within 24 hours? So we are out $1268 and received no tour. Total scam. They had months to tell us about the vehicle change. Stay away from this scam! I have emails to back up my claims.Written December 27, 2023

- angelrn710 contributionsCanceled at last minuteWe did not even go on the tour. We were to have the tour booked on 10/2/23- I had scheduled way in advance, talked to a agent, and had received several emails to print my tickets. On September 27th I received an email with no explanation that my tour was canceled and my money was being refunded. When I contacted the agent the answer I got is that it was canceled for "unforeseen circumstances" . Very unreliable and unprofessional.Written September 27, 2023
- G5764FMjeffreyb0 contributionsGreat knowledgeable guide helped us make the most of a short visit!Brian was a great tour guide, he was super knowledgeable and helped us make the most of our day at Yosemite. Rather than worrying about driving and traffic, we were able to sit back and enjoy the scenery and get a lot of knowledge about the park and its history, as well as recent events, like fires.Written September 25, 2023
- H5817MBbettinak0 contributionsHighly unprofessional, late and failed to give true ETAI contracted with Crossroads Tours for a transfer from my hotel to the Fresno airport. My pick up time was 7:45AM. At 7:55, I called and I was informed that the driver was on his way and would be there momentarily. Several calls were made to Crossroads and each time they said the driver would be there momentarily. The driver was 35 minutes late and drove like a mad man. Not only did I nearly miss my flight, but I had to contend with seriously poor driving because this company did not keep their word. I cannot state strongly enough to everyone to not use this company. They are UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE and ARROGANT.Written September 22, 2023
- DayTrip065582395150 contributionsForgot Reservation & Horrible Customer ServiceBooked a transfer from Oakhurst to Fresno airport 2 weeks in advance. They completely forgot about the reservation. After numerous calls and texts they showed up 35 minutes late and the passenger barely made the flight. After contacting them to get a partial refund, they blocked me. I reached out to them from a different phone number and the owner Ramesh Gurnani said "F*ck off you piece of sh*t". Words cannot explain how terrible this company and its ownership are. DO NOT USE!Written September 22, 2023
- marksF1699PF0 contributionsGreat Tour of Yosemite! My wife and I have done a lot of tours and Juli, our driver and tour guide, was in the top one or two. We were apprehensive about being in a van with 6 other people we didn't know for nine hours (they were great), but this trip was well worth it. Juli was the best driver down those very curvy roads (my wife is usually car-sick in the first 30 minutes- but even she liked it). We received a very good cross section of the highlights of Yosemite. The highlight for me was seeing the climbers on El Capitan (Juli had binoculars!). For my wife, it was the view from Glacier Point. The next day we hiked 4 miles up to Nevada Falls and then saw the sequoias at Mariposa Grove- all at Juli's recommendation. Highly recommend this tour...especially early in your visit to Yosemite.Written September 17, 2023
- Finnbilly0 contributionsSandy’s the best when you want to see Yosemite!Made a last minute reservation after 9pm for the next morning. The company was very accommodating and found a driver to take my husband and me for a private tour in an Expedition. Our driver Sandy was the absolute best. She was so friendly and welcoming. She had a basket of snacks, water and juice if we needed. (Sandwich lunch was included) She really made the day special. She was so knowledgeable about Yosemite and knew all the ins and outs of navigating the park. By the end of the tour we felt as if we spent the day with an old friend. Highly recommend!Written September 15, 2023

This is an exceptional, well organized tour with spectacular features that go well beyond the phenomenal attractions being shown. The tour efficiently went to highly sought out areas and was able to deliver great service and information that would have been very difficult to find and process on our own. Our tour guide, Paul, has studied and experienced the area well beyond what is required by his job. He shared information about the history and development of the area that would have been impossible to discover without extensive study and isn't available in touring postings, maps, or brochures around the park.
His company provided a very nice customized van that offers great visual range with high ceilings and glass for a variety of comfortable view from seats with ample legroom and cushion for a full day of riding and getting on and off to see first hand details of some of the marvelous sites.
Paul also broke up the ride with frequent stops that kept even young children interested, and with time to recharge so that they could engage in the next truly amazing site. Even the lunch they provide is ample for the calories burned upon the hike amongst the Sequoias, and it was a quality prepared and healthy meal, well beyond most box lunches. Even though it is advisable to bring plenty of water for the active day in hot dry weather that will dehydrate you, it was nice of him to not only tell us where we could refill our water bottles, but upon lunchtime, he even had an extra cooler of well chilled water to offer every customer. He also pointed out the best bathroom facilities available.
All the way from greeting us so politely at our hotel, promptly on time in the morning to the time he dropped us back off at the end, he was full of knowledge and information that he so joyfully and eloquently shared with his clients. We are so appreciative to Paul for his vast experience and also his entertaining jokes. He went out of his way to try and reach out to each person and give them the most complete and comprehensive experience possible. We are so grateful to this company for not only providing us a COVID precautions van, tour resources and plan, with efficient logistics and planning, but foremost for having such a safe driver and talented tour guide to both enlighten and entertain us throughout the tour! They are so very fortunate to have Paul's professionalism, knowledge, and service expertise as one of their tour guides.

Our guide Richard was the best! On top of being very informative and funny and taking our pictures which turned out great, he is a very safe driver. We've seen the best places the park has to offer, hassle free, no need to drive and register online, which is a must now, unless you're on the tour. We've learned a lot of history about Yosemite park and enjoyed every moment of that day.

We started our Full Day Yosemite and Glacier Point Tour pick up in Mariposa at Happy Burger, who our driver Daniel Gonzales was friendly and punctual. We had a total of 10 people and had a wonderful time sharing our day at Yosemite.
What an AMAZING experience we had with Danie!! :) Daniel was very knowledgeable, professional, polite and best of all he knew so much about every stop we made in Yosemite. (
We found out he was a native of Oakhurst., which is truly rare find. Yosemite was his backyard playground, which I know very few people who have that opportunity to experience.
He was passionate to share his experiences with us and answered all my questions, I had about Yosemite. (I really kept him on hs toes which impressed me), we truly enjoyed every bit of time with him
Review of: Full Day Small Group Yosemite & Glacier Point Tour – with Hotel Pickup ! A true native that is rare to find and who was so passionate to share with us his experiences of the land and and had answered all our questions

Due to covid a lot of us now are just traveling by car. We decided to finally make the drive to go visit Yosemite. However, you need a permit to enter and it’s not easy to get one. So your only other options are- stay at a hotel inside Yosemite or book a tour. We choose the latter. We had just left sequoia and made the drive to Fresno. I’m so glad I found a tour company that would pick us up there and save me driving time to the park myself. I was a bit leery booking this tour. There wasn’t many reviews and due to covid I was worried about it being cancelled and not being able to get my money back. However after calling and speaking with a nice Indian lady it eased my mind. She helped me book our tour over the phone. We got an email confirmation as well. I can only speak of the tour from Fresno to Yosemite. It was a bit longer than I expected. We got picked up at 8:15am sharp and had to pick up one other family. We didn’t get into the actual park until about 11am. Our tour guide Ron was great! Very informative, kind and patient. He took us to all the must see sights and we never had to deal with parking he would just drop us off and give us about an hour to explore each sight. We didn’t get back to our hotel until about 7pm. I had 2 kids with me they had a wonderful time. The tour included a picnic lunch of a deli sandwich (good quality not subway) a banana, chips, a cookie and bottled water. It was very good and we loved the picnic spot by the creek. Overall booking the tour was the best decision I made! The drive in Yosemite has a lot of switch backs and the road is very narrow. It was so nice to be able to relax, enjoy the scenery without the stress of reading a map. I would totally do this again! Thanks crossroad tours for an amazing experience we will never forget the beauty of Yosemite!

I went with my mother and had a great tour with Ron. We were expecting a small group and lo and behold, we got a private tour! Ron was great and knowledgeable about everywhere we went. He made an effort to get to know the two of us and catered to what we wanted to see. I went with my mother, who is getting on in her age, so this was great for us to see the must see sights, albeit, it was limited in the winter time. We didn't get to see Glacier point from the top, but we looked up to it from the Valley. I loved hearing about the history of the park and various environmental fun facts from Ron on the way. Kuddos to our guide and the tour company for picking us up from our hotel.

Only worth the cost if you don't have a park pass or don't want to drive yourself and deal with parking/traffic. Otherwise, you can just drive yourself to the spots and save the money (just look at a park map for Tunnel View, Glacier Point Trail, and the main El Capitan view by the road and go yourself). Nothing special. Sandwiches they provided were not that good either.
If you are staying in the park, for some reason they'll tell you to drive out of the park to Fish Camp to meet them - which makes no sense.
The driver was very pleasant and seemed generally knowledgeable about the park, but she read some of the facts from a piece of paper *while she was driving around some dangerous windy mountain roads*. Driver also did not wear her mask securely around her nose and mouth - it was loose.

We booked Yosemite National Park trip last minute but Crossroads Tours accommodated us very well with Driver cum Guide Miss. JULIE gave us awesome day experience with thorough knowledge of the area and even with forest fire in the area Julie took us from another entrance and still showed us all attractive spots in the park. We hanged tight as one happy family all day. THANK YOU Miss. JULIE and Crossroads Tours in Oakhurst CA to save the day.

We had a wonderful time on our tour of the Yosemite Valley and our tour guide Daniel was exceptional! He was extremely knowledgeable of the history of Yosemite and the history of California. We learned so much because he talked to us while driving. This made the driving time between attractions go so much faster. He knew the best views of each area of the park. We saw so many beautiful areas of Yosemite. This was a perfect tour for first time visitors to Yosemite National Park. We definitely plan to come back for a visit in the Fall. And, we will definitely request for Daniel to be our guide!

We had a unique experience—5 of us including 2 young kids (6&7) with cold rain and snow but it made it all memorable! Mic picked us up at Tenaya in an suv and we were with 2 others. He was very knowledgeable about the park. The suv was comfortable but 1 adult had to sit in the 3rd row which at times can be uncomfortable. Upon entering Yosemite, the cloud coverage was low because of the rain but views were still stunning. Glacier point was not open at this time and the hike was not really an option given the weather. Everyone was a real trooper with the cold wet rain. We saw amazing sites and had a yummy deli lunch at the Ahwanee. We even enjoyed time at the fireplace warming up. Luckily the clouds lifted and we were taken to all the sites and Tunnel view had cleared up! The entire place is just breathtaking and i would love to return another time with different weather. Mic provided great info about the park and its history. Would recommend the tour to anyone and would love to repeat it in a different season.

We have done many excursions and fully understand that a guide can make or break a tour. Julie was absolutely the key to the brilliance of this day. So knowledgeable, encouraging, patient, kind and enthusiastic. She made the tour. The scenery was breathtaking and Julie ensured the whole day was completely optimised and wonderful. A brilliant day.
The loss of 1 star is due to the short, sharp responses from the company itself. I understand people are busy but the couple of responses I received were a little ‘abrupt’. Overall though I do recommend
