- Our wine shuttles require a minimum of 4 participants to run. You will be emailed with options if you have less than 4 people in your party.
- If you are a single traveler, please free to call our office to confirm availability
- Departure and arrival times are flexible, depending on your location & other pick-ups that day, but generally range from 9:45am to 10:45am. Pick-up times will be confirmed via phone or email the day prior. We are usually done by 3 or 4pm, heading back to town and returning by 5pm.
- If you do not require hotel pick-up, or are not staying in in Santa Barbara or Santa Ynez, you may meet the shuttle at the Santa Barbara Visitor's Center, 1 Garden Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101
- If meeting at the Visitor's center, the parking lot is immediately behind the Visitor Center building. Parking fees of $9 per day per car may apply.
- Most travelers can participate
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

He gave my husband and I information about wine we never knew and we left being more knowledgeable. The wineries that were chosen was excellent and the wines were as well. We were picked up from where we were staying and were driven to three wine tastings over a period of seven hours. - 482jasminj0 contributionsAverage - just a van ride to different wineries, must entertain yourselves...Completely not what we expected, we thought the guide would explain each new wine & go through the history/nuances of each, like story time, but he disappeared after we were dropped off at each location. The people who worked at the wineries briefly explained them & went on about their day, we just thought it would be more interactive. The guide pointed out a few things while we were driving but we basically had to entertain ourselves the entire trip...thank God my husband is a social butterfly! So if you're just looking for a ride to take you to different wineries then I would definitely recommend this tour, if you're looking for something a lil more interactive then I would look elsewhere. (Last note: I wish we would've known prior that we could take our own snacks on the trip.)Written June 3, 2024

Enjoyed a quick stop to taste wine and vinegar. Our group had a great time on this tour of Santa Ynez wine country. The day consisted of two tastings at vineyards with a chance to explore Los Olivos. Our guide Johannes made the experience by being exceptionally knowledgeable about the area and its wine-producing history. He also provided enriching recommendations/informations at each stop and somehow was able to pick us up at our obscurely-located airbnb. Overall a very professional experience compared to a wine tour I had done in the area years before with another agency.

Our group of nine booked the "Wine Shuttle" with Santa Barbara Wine Country Tours and had a great day in the Santa Ynez Valley. We chose the shuttle since we knew the wineries we wanted to visit. Our driver, Sunny, was great - good for a laugh and knew how to balance when to be a guide/host and when to just let us relax and have fun. The van was clean and comfortable. Arrived on time for pickup at our Airbnb and dropped off right as expected.

What a wonderful experience! I was so glad that we decided to do this tour. We had a great tour guide, the wineries we visited where absolutely gorgeous in their own special way. I am a wine lover but never have I tasted such wide variety. We met such great people on the tour. Don’t overthink it’s a must do if your in Santa Barbara!

We had a WONDERFUL tour with Yohannes!! He was very knowledgeable about all things wine, the region, the grapes, and the history of the area. Our tour included stops at 3 wineries and lunch at the 2nd stop. Beautiful day with our best friends, and the value for the money is incredible.

This tour was the best part our trip to Santa Barbara. There were a total of 3 couples and they were a lot of fun to chat with. Johan was a great guide who was definitely knowledgeable about the area and wine. Each winery/tasting room was different but all had good wines. It was the perfect way to spend a Thursday. Can't recommend enough!

We love wine tours, lots of tasty wine and no driving. Sunny, our tour leader, was knowledgeable and very aware of our needs or potential needs. The first two wineries were excellent, Andrew Murray especially. For our third stop, the company had us go into Los Olivos for a tasting at Carhartt. This was a very commercial establishment. It killed the vibe of vineyards and open space. The group consensus was that another actual vineyard tasting would be better. Be aware that on weekends, lunch isn’t provided, though it is on weekdays. Lots of reasons/excuses as to why not. Sunny picked up lunch nearby (with our credit cards).

What was advertised was transportation including discounts for wine tasting and information regarding wineries and history of the area etc... . What we got was a shuttle service for $100 a head that could have been a uber with less COVID potential exposure. The VAN was crammed with people. My partner and I couldnt even sit together I was wedged up next to a complete stranger and falling off the seat, where I couldnt fasten seatbelt. Driver did talk about Geography of santa barbara a tiny bit, and seemed like a nice young man, but it was just for a few moments. When we arrived at each of the three wineries, I was upset to see that our arrival was greeted with an inquiry of who are we, are we paying for ourselves or not etc... We all got pricelists that were identical to everyone else that walked it. No special pricing. No deals. No discounts. We could have driven ourselves here in more comfort and saved lots of money. Then we literally drove across the street to the next two places and got identical standard off the street treatment. Absolutely nothing special for this group.....no special pricing, no discounts, no special access. We just got an expensive jammed shuttle ride that cost too much. Save your money... go with a real tour, or use Uber or something or drive yourself.

Hi There! Customer satisfaction is super important to us, especially as a small family business.
Our shuttle service is simply an Uber/Taxi service outside of the fact that we make & confirm all of your reservations for the day, which are required for most wineries in the Santa Ynez Valley due to COVID. We strongly encourage guests to book our all-inclusive tour as it includes your tasting fees & lunch for the day but offer the shuttle as a more economical option for the day and/or it is very popular for guests who are members at wineries. An Uber from Santa Barbara to for example, Fess Parker Winery, is $75 one way, so we see the shuttle service as reasonably priced since it includes transport to 3 wineries/tasting rooms and all your reservations. Our vans seat 14 passengers and as of now we are operating with a reduced capacity of 12 guests which we definitely hit on the weekends as one of the more popular vendors in the area for tours/transportation to the valley. We will follow-up with TripAdvisor to ensure they are not falsely advertising any aspects of our tour -- we don't advertise as a company discounts/deals at the wineries.
We hope you'll join us in the future for our all-inclusive tour.

To celebrate my bff’s and my BIG birthdays this year we treated ourselves to this company’s tour of three of the area’s wineries.
What a good choice! Our driver Caco was super friendly, knowledgeable and fun. He picked us up on time and gave us lots of info as we drove into the hills. A very good lunch was provided and the three wineries were lovely especially Brick Barn. Can’t say enough good things-lovely day out!
