Sean was our driver for a day of wine tasting in Paso Robles on March 25, 2023. He was an excellent driver who was willing to be flexible when I was running late for the start time and he helped us communicate with our wineries when we were running a bit behind as well. He took pictures of our group and generally made sure that everything ran smoothly for the day. He provided us water too! :-)
I would highly recommend Destination Drivers to any of my friends and will surely use them in the future. Would highly recommend Sean too--he was the best!

We (4 ladies)arrived at our vacation home on Thursday 1/ 5 and contacted Destination Driver that evening for a driver for Friday. Wayne arrived on Friday morning . He was prompt, knowledgeable, helpful, and very friendly. He was so great we wanted to hire him for Sunday but he had previous plans. But he made arrangements for Jim to be our driver. Jim was as wonderful as Wayne. Who knew this great service existed! It makes for a relaxed, stress-free wine tasting experience at a reasonable price. We left Monday for our real homes during the torrential storm. Both of these men texted us during our drive to make sure we were safe on the road. Their caring for our safety was deeply touching and appreciated. Thank you for your great service. If you go to Paso Robles to taste wine, contact Destination Drivers and ask for Wayne or Jim!

We had a 15 passenger van and we needed the driver to meet us in San Luis Obisbo to sign the insurance paperwork. Our driver Lawrence met us there on an off day for him and he was so accommodating for the two days he drove us. He helped us make reservations and was very professional. We have had wine drivers before but this was our best experience.
If you are wanting to take the stress out of a wine touring experience, i highly recommend hiring the company and requesting Lawrence. You will not be disappointed.

It was easy to book.
From there it was all Dylan. He’s the best! All of the characteristics and qualities you want for this type of gig were found with Dylan. We ended up adding a day because he was reliable, on time, pleasant, fun, helpful at all times, kept us on track with our tasting reservations, communicated with our next destination, and was a very safe driver. Thank you Dylan!

This is our second year to use Destination Drivers while touring wineries in Paso Robles. We had a great experience both times. This year we were driven by Deneen who was, prompt, courteous, professional and lots of fun. She took good care of us and was a wonderful source of information about wineries and Paso itself. I would definitely recommend using them if you want to sit back and enjoy your tastings without the worry of having to drive.

Our wine driver, Dylan, from Destination Wines was superb--prompt, communicated well, knew the area and its wineries. He was personable, flexible, and creative. When we suggested that we'd like to visit an olive oil producer in addition to the five wineries on our agenda, he found one close by, altered our schedule accordingly, and took us there. His driving was careful, and we felt entirely confident with him at the wheel of our BMW. He offered assistance wine carrying and packing our purchases and was useful during every aspect of our enjoyable experience. We'll definitely use Destination Wines on our next trip to the Paso Robles area.

Peter showed up right on time. He called me the day before the trip and was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. He grew up in the area and knew people at every winery we went to, we were even able to fit in an extra winery on the way to another destination. I highly recommend requesting him as a driver if he’s available. Peter was genuinely excited to be our safe driver and we had an amazing trip thanks to him.

Loved the experience! We had Dylan as our driver. Super cool, laid back guy. He was perfectly punctual and VERY attentive to our needs! He was excellent with communication before, during, and after and was fun to have around. For all non-locals he also has some excellent recommendations! The price is very reasonable as well. I would highly recommend.

My 4 friends and I booked 2 days of wine tasting with Destination Drivers in both Paso Robles and Edna Valley. We had Wayne as our driver both days and he really made this an incredible experience for us! He was very kind, attentive and helpful, keeping us on time for our reservations, and taking awesome photos of our group. He gave us recommendations for dinner and night life, and other activities for our girls trip to central coast. Having Wayne as our driver gave us our own personalized wine country experience. Would definitely recommend Destination Drivers and especially Wayne for an exceptional wine country experience.

Wayne drove us two days to various wineries in the Paso area, picking us up and dropping us off at our AirBnB each day as well using our rented van. So good to not have to worry about a designated driver, and to enjoy the scenery and conversation (vs the driving). Wayne also took photos of the group at every venue. Excellent service. Highly recommended!

What is the charge for extra hours? We have tastings booked from 10:30 - 5:00 and we would need to be picked up/dropped off in Nipomo (about a 30 -40 minute drive from the first winery). If that is even an option? We are probably looking at 10 hours from start to finish. Again, if that is even an option.

Hi if you are driving my vehicle is it OK to bring my 8 pound blind deaf old dog? He has a car seat with a seat belt and also a seat belt without a car seat. He doesn't like being crated.

Hello Jo, sorry can’t answer your question but if you text Destination Drivers, they are quite helpful with questions and excellent at coordinating preferences/schedule. I can tell you that the assigned driver would wait with the car at each wine tasting, for about 1 to 1/2 hours.

We will have a rental vehicle. How does liability work on that situation? Are you allowed to drive a rental?
Hello, you’ll have to look at your rental agreement but i think you’re allowed a guest driver. You’ll be driving pretty slow through slow so there not much to worry about out there.

Hello, I am planning a trip to SLO in April and wondered how your service works. Do I pick the wineries I want to visit and your company books the tours and then drives? Also, do I need special insurance to have another person drive my car?
