We took the San Andreas Fault Hummer Tour and had a great tour guide (Louis). Seeing the San Andreas Fault was amazing and very interesting. The bridge over the fault was only a foot or two above the fault. We then headed to Joshua Tree National Park. We drove up a canyon entrance that required the Hummer, over very rough terrain with no road in several places. Louis did a great job describing the different rock formations and the various desert plants and how the Native Americans used these plants.

We booked the hummer tour with our family for New Years Eve. We were very surprised how comfortable the Hummer was. Thought it would be a lot more bumpy. The ride took us out to an Oasis before and the San Andreas fault. Our tour Guide Louis was very informative about the landscape, plants and the fault. Since we went on New Years Eve we were not able to see the main Oasis. I thought the trip was well balanced between the off roading and scenic stops, however, some of our group would have liked more off roading. The off roading views when we got to the top were spectacular. Overall was a great afternoon to spend with family.

My kids and I went on this tour a couple of weeks ago. Our guide was Don. He was extremely knowledgable, interesting, and passionate about what he was showing us. We learned so much about the history of the landscape and we had a blast! I highly recommend this tour while in Palm Springs. My kids said it was the BEST thing we did when we were on vacation- and we did a lot of cool things. We had such a great time!

I think they go too far into the fault , no phone lines available if ever there is a problem with the vehicle or a tremble ! There are other faults easier to visit.

All of our vehicles come equipped with GPS locaters and emergency responses. Should there ever be a major problem, help is on the way with the push of a button by your driver. We even have prepaid for helicopter support if that is ever necessary. But, in the 10 years and 100,000 plus guests that have taken our tours, we have not had 1 single injury. Don't worry - safety is on our side!

Jeff our "tour guide" offered a few interesting comments and then pretty much stopped talking. He played loud music to avoid questions for 3/4 of the tour. The San Andres fault portion of the tour was interesting but the time spent in the BLM area with at least 20 individuals sighting in their personal firearms and trash everywhere was a poor choice to conduct a tour of the area .
Info listed online which included possible viewing of wildlife was extremely misleading. Seeing a "soaring eagle"...not a chance.

Don, our driver, made this tour completely wonderful. We went up Berdoo Canyon in this amazing Humvee to see the most beautiful rocks and cactus. Lots of history was shared with us by Don and we loved every minute of this. It is BUMPY - really, really bumpy - but so worth it. It was an amazing afternoon with our visiting friends. Thank you, Don!!

I was called the mooring of the tour that the hammer was taken for repair and not be available for the 3PM scheduled tour. I was told If I would be available at 4PM. I agreed We was scheduled to meet at a location 30 mins from my hotel ( no hotel pick-up). While I was in a Uber with the four other people scheduled for the trip, I received a phone call asking if I was available the next day. I informed them that I had other plans so to reimbursement the cost of the tour for four ( I am still waiting for that reimbursement). I asked if I would get reimbursed for the Uber trip to and from the designated location for pick-up and drop-off, of course no response.

Your tour was canceled due to a mechanical issue with our vehicle. Your tickets were paid with TripAdvisor and we have asked them to refund you 2 weeks ago. We would like to offer you a free tour next time you are in town to allow you to truly make a sound judgment about the tour you did not take. Our Hummers travel to very remote locations that make us very cautious to run a tour if even the slightest issue arises. Although we rarely have to cancel a tour, a canceled tour is far better than being stuck in an area that could take hours for a rescue crew to reach you. I am sorry that you choose to negatively review a tour unfortunately you DID NOT TAKE. Safety is a huge concern for us and I hope you can take our offer for a free tour for yourselves in the future. I'm sure you will love it!!

Josh was excellent at ensuring our comfort and safety as well as informing us on all there is to know about the area's history. The day was a very windy and cool day as the 4 of us sat up high in the back 4 seats but so worth it...not for everyone for sure though! The coats provided gave us immense protection from the wind and the blankets helped too. The palms and fault area is spectacularly beautiful both in its scenery and the mechanics of how it all works. We also enjoyed the a lovely sunset on the windy drive back to our cars. Thank you Josh!

Our group of 20+ was looking for a team bonding activity. I searched around for different companies that offered these tours and have beyond impressed with Adventure Hummer.

*Bill has been so amazing and flexible. He has worked intimately with me to find the perfect option and tailored the standard tours to fit our groups needs. Another company did not follow-up at all after my initial call..

So thank you, Bill and Adventure Hummer! My group is so excited for this excursion :)

We had Don as a tour guide. He was a wonderful man and very friendly. He was very knowledgable about the plants and animals and had such a passion and enthusiasm for his job. He provided suncream, snacks and lots of water for us. We listened to some great music on the way back. The best part of all was that he always offered to take pictures of us at the scenic locations and he was a very good photographer! We had a lovely time and Don was a lovely tour guide.
