The instructors are professional, knowledgeable, patient and caring. They guide you in a comfortable caring environment. They are wonderful.

Great instructors helped our group all catch waves on our first time out. We went as a work group and it was such a great bonding experience!

This surfing course was fantastic. When ordering online I thought “125 USD, that’s not cheap” but I was wrong. This was worth every penny. The theoretical and technical parts of the course was done very thoroughly by our instructor Gerry. I believe that was instrumental in making ALL COURSE PARTICIPANTS able to ride multiple waves. If you cannot ride a wave after having a course with Gerry, chances are you never will. Form start to end, very very good. We were first timers, never touched a surf board before - and it was awesome. Well done you and thank you so much!

The instructors were cool, low pressure, easy going. They had it down, gave good tips, made helpful observations. They were encouraging when needed, backed off when needed, and even gave a few 'pushes' to help with timing to catch the first few waves. (and sang Happy Birthday - Bonus!)

Coach Gary and the rest of the team were fantastic. We had an excellent experience and felt like we walked away with tools to successfully build the skills needed to surf. Thank you for a great experience!

Adventure out has amazing instructors. I had the opportunity with learn from Allie and Allen and they were both passionate about having fun and staying safe. They came prepared with gear and even offered other options to keep everyone comfortable in the otherwise chilly water. I also enjoyed meeting people that were traveling from far as well as locals. Overall, it was inspiring and FUN!

Chase was our instructor for 2 days of lessons and he was great - very professional, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Most importantly, he got everyone up surfing!

Soren and Chase were great teachers and made my first surf experience killer . They didn’t overwhelm me with too many details and stayed close by the whole time . Anyone on the fence should definitely go for it !

Our instructor, Chase, eased us into the session by breaking down the steps to standing up. The technique was very accessible and his relaxed nature made it all very fun. Good wetsuit, good board, good location, personal attention. Everything was great! Highly recommend!

Alice was great! Professional, supportive, encouraging and knowledgeable (very experienced!) We went from absolutely NO experience to getting the feeling of catching a wave! Lots of fun, thanks, Alice!

If you’re looking to try outdoor climbing with some previous indoor experience this is for you. If you’re expecting lots of training and routes to climb, try something else. We were taken to a really cool spot and it was fun, but little to no instruction is provided which isn’t great for complete beginners. Equipment provided was adequate but needs updating (shoe holes, banged up helmets). Expect only to climb 2 times.

Not good. Instructor spent a majority of the time to teach us “safety” and decided we did not have enough time to learn how to stand up on the board all while making uncomfortable comments and speaking very condescendingly. The waves were crazy, not ideal for any surfer especially not beginners, and he never acknowledged this. He stood with his arms crossed watching the group struggle to not get pounded by waves and provided no instruction. Would not recommend. His assistant/co-instructor was helpful and seemed to care but was not given the same platform as the main instructor. Had a much better experience at sea, surf, and fun!

We went surfing with two teenagers as beginners. Alan was professional and laid-back. The class was well structured and the tips were useful for us to stay safe. At all times, there was someone helping us and giving us feed-back to get more out of our experience. We had a lot of fun and it was one of the experience that our teenagers enjoyed during our stay in the Bar Area.
