What to expect
Meet and greet your group at a local visitor information centre at 8am. Complete waivers and medical forms and then convoy to the trailhead. After a brief trailhead talk about bear awareness, a few hours of hiking lend itself to an amazing lunch spot in the wild. Enjoy limestone mountain vistas, local wildlife, animal sign, local plants, the geology, history and ecology of this wild area. Each hike is about 7 hours from the trailhead return, and includes a lunch and educational or interpretive component. Transportation is not included but a drive out to this special place is well worth the visit. Don't forget your camera!

Wasootch Ridge
Sep 2020
Spent a fun day with Shauna hiking Wasootch Ridge. There were amazing views from the top! Kananaskis has been Shauna's playground for many years and she knows it inside out. She has a wealth of knowledge of the local flora and fauna and this really added to the adventure as I'm a bit of a plant geek. Shauna is a 'safety first' kind of guide and I felt totally at ease hiking in bear country with her. I highly recommend her!

Absolutely amazing!!

This tour totally made my vacation worth while! As a first in the Canadian Rockies and being a beginner hiker, I was extremely nervous but Shauna our guide was so great and knowledgeable of the area that it made all the difference! We did the Rawson Lake trail and I can't recommend it enough! Thanks Shauna! :D Will definitely book again the next time I'm in town.
