Then driver arrived and spoke no English. Booked return trip for 5.30pm, again made a phone call and a check email the day before. Waited till 5.45pm, made 4 more phone calls from foyer of hotel, a couple to the driver and 2 to the office. Both kept saying the driver would be between 15-20and 30 minutes late!! Kept changing how long the wait would be and hanging up on me(hence the 4 phone calls).The driver was again an hour late! We had paid for the lounge at the airport which we hardly got to use because of the delayed arrival. We asked numerous times for another driver but it was never forthcoming. - Likedbylou0 contributionsDon't bother, organise an Uber instead.What a scam! I had booked and prepaid this pick up weeks before arriving in LA from Australia, to transfer my family of 5 to Anaheim. I messaged my driver when we landed to notify him that our flight had been delayed. I then messaged him twice while we were stuck in customs to tell him that there was an enormous line, and it was moving very slowly. It took 90 minutes to get through customs and just before we got through he messaged me to say he was no longer waiting and we would have to call Customer Service if I wanted to sort it out as there was a 90 min wait cut off. I rang Customer Service and they assured me that he would come back and get us after checking that our flight had actually been delayed. The driver didn't arrive. I messaged him again and also rang Customer Service. This time, after an hour of standing outside LAX, Customer Service informed me that we WOULD NOT be getting PICKED UP and WOULD NOT be getting a REFUND. Not what you want to hear after a 15 hour flight! Yes flights get delayed and customs can take forever yet they are things we have no control over, hence why I kept my driver updated as per the instructions. We ended up organising an XLUber...and it was cheaper! I now begin the long task of trying to get my $147 back.Written June 14, 2023

They were in touch ahead of time to tell us who would be picking up and to arrange for a slight change in pickup time. There was a little confusion as to who the driver would be, but it was no big deal. They were efficient and professional and we liked the fact that the tip was included in the quoted price.Written January 11, 2023
- 610nealp0 contributionsAwful Customer ServiceAbsolutely awful customer service. First, it’s an overpriced Uber. I had hunt down the driver on arrival. I got bumped for my flight home as I was getting picked up for the airport. Showed the driver the text from the airline showing I had been rebooked. Called customer service, sent the info to them as well. Was told that Because the airline rebooked my flight and didn’t cancel it I was out of luck. They wouldn’t even change it to later in the day for me. And charged me as a no-show. Made an already stressful situation even worse. Orlando is who I spoke with and he was awful. If I could leave a zero rating, I would! Contracted for a 10 passenger from a "limo" shuttle service with meet and greet. What showed up was a beat up, 8 passenger airport shuttle (it looked like it was a giant pizza box and definitely not the van in their ad) after we were waiting outside for 30 minutes. No meet and greet, not the vehicle size I requested, and the vehicle had definitely seen better days. To make matters worse, they gave the shuttle driver the wrong hotel, so we were stuck in San Pedro traffic on a Friday afternoon for an extra 30 minutes to get us to the correct hotel. I tried to resolve with the company with zero success.
When we were picked up, I looked up the rate for the shuttle service (it was in big letters on the side of the vehicle) that picked us up and it was less than half of what I paid. The driver told us he gets called when Elife doesn't have drivers/vehicles to accommodate reservations.

First of all, I only booked this ride because I was under the impression there would be a meet and greet; that never happened.
Second, I contacted Elife Limo several times [with no reply] over the course of 10 hours to arrange the meeting point, and did not hear from them until less than an hour left in my flight despite their website indicating they would make contact rapidly.
Third, they sent me my driver information during the aforementioned minutes of my flight, so I tried making contact with that driver, but was unable to reach him. Then, after we landed, I received a text from a completely different phone number and person than the one initially provided. This obviously caused additional confusion as I was trying to reach my driver on a different line.
Again, there was definitely NOT a meet-and-greet.
Fifth, we were picked up in a dirty (unwashed) minivan (not a "sedan" as indicated in our reservation), that (a) had a child seat that the driver had to move [despite having had ample time to prepare for our arrival] in addition to adjusting the seating settings and (b) worst of all, the drive took personal phone calls on her cell phone for 28 minutes of our ride (we saw her two Call-Time screens post-call).
This was the most unprofessional ride I've had... it worse than past UberX rides... which would have cost me $50-60 less!
Never again.
