Gregory has a wealth of knowledge that he freely shares. He is very studied in LA history and all of the sights. He also leads other tours that contribute to his complete understanding.

We attended the Haunted Hollywood Walking Tour as a family of four (two teens and their parents) and found the experience underwhelming. While others might enjoy it, it just didn’t work for us. After the first 20 minutes, we found ourselves losing interest, and the rest of the tour didn’t manage to capture our attention either. The event lacked the kind of professional storytelling that could have made the experience more engaging and immersive. We were hoping for eerie vibes and captivating tales, but the atmosphere felt flat, and the stories didn’t evoke any real sense of mystery or excitement. Overall, while it might appeal to some, it didn’t meet our expectations and left us feeling disappointed. If you’re considering it, keep in mind that your experience might vary.

The whole experience was great. The stories and the pictures made the entire experience come to life. We had a great tour guide who tailored the experience to what we liked.

Paul is an excellent tour guide! He has in-depth knowledge about the downtown LA, and shared with us the history and its development. I would strongly recommend people to take the walking guided tour with Paul! As I was travelling by myself, the smell of marijuanas and some random homeless on street may feel like danger to me. One homeless lady approached us but Paul just helped us away from her! And if you are fan of US drama or celebrity , you should definitely talk to Paul! He would be happy to share his career story in the entertainment industry!

This tour ended up being a "private" tour because our little family was the only ones booked... Enjoyed spending the afternoon with Paul learning all about DTLA. Would recommend to anyone!

Tour leader is absolutely knowledgeable. I suggest that participants have earphone each to hear better & tour leader have flag so he can be located easily among many visitors.

Paul was a great tour guide and told my husband and I many stories about Griffith Park and Hollywood as we were hiking up a path towards the Griffith Park Observatory. At the outset, we heard all about Griffith Griffith, his horrible temper and the violent accusations he made towards his young wife. Later in his life, he became a benefactor to Los Angeles when he left his immense 30+ acre property to the city upon his death, with plans to build an observatory and planetarium for the people. Paul made the history of the area come to life. He was an amazing storyteller! The only reason I didn’t rate this tour a 5 was because one member of our little group decided after some distance that she could not continue. This necessitated a pause in the pacing of our hike, so she could return to our starting place and take a tram to the Planetarium rather than walk. But Paul made the best of it and we resumed our hike to see a home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, a quaint Witch House, a murder house, views of celebrity homes. Being an actor as well as a tour guide, made Paul’s stories all the more interesting. This hike was definitely one of the highlights of our week in Los Angeles and I would recommend it to others.
