Hollywood Wax Museum is a great place to visit for Celebrity fans of all ages!!
Had an amazing time with my son! I have been here before. But this was my teenage son's first time at a Wax museum. Both of us had a great time posing with some of our favorite celebrities!

    SUPER, SUPER! fun and adventure!
Our most treasured and favorite part was seeing the wax model of Michael Jackson and taking the pictures with him, plus many other wax models of famous people, they all look so real and it's great fun to pose with them for our pictures, we will treasure them forever, plus we now have some bragging rights with our family and friends, a pure delight! until they get their own pictures hahaha!

    Not impressed
Very few of the waxworks here look much like the people they are supposed to be. Some were identifiable by their clothing. Others, neither my wife nor I could identify. Even the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were unconvincing and they are not real people.

Didn't expect to have fun, but I realy did
Family was doing a quick visit to LA after Christmas 2022. The kids wanted a day visiting all kinds of museums, and this was one. I had never been to anything like this, and a bunch of wax statues did not get me going. Yes, there are a bunch of wax statues of celebrities, but what makes this fun is it is interactive. There are "props" that you can use to take photos, and seeing the celebrities up close (which I probably won't get to do very often) was kind of cool.

    Fun activity
Not bad for a wax museum. Liked that there were props so you could take pictures next to the figures. I personally enjoyed the horror figures, the set up was great. Some of the celebrities were spot on, others were not, but what else can you expect from a wax museum? Overall, not bad.

Good experience. You can take as many photos as you want with the figures. Some look like the celebrity, some don't. But it was really fun for the family.

    Really enjoyed
I really enjoyed this one, found it better than Madame Tussauds. You can try on props for photos and had the old school vibe, the horror section took me back. Yes some of them didn't look exactly as they the person like Madame Tussauds, did it out me off? Nope.

    First time in Hollywood
It was my family’s first time i found it to be a nice experience but definitely over priced and the majority of the wax figures didn’t come close to looking like the stars if I was a famous celebrity in that museum I make them replace and redo all the figures.

    Skip it.
Waste of time and money. Wax figures look nothing like the actual people. Don’t waste your time. If it takes you 30 minutes you’re going at a slow pace.

    Wax Museum Visit
The wax work here was very good but it would be a very short attraction to complete. Staff were friendly and there was a good souvenir shop. It would be great to see more themed displays rather than solo characters from various productions.

Very well done. It's small but one of those must do's in L.A. I loved the Michael Jackson wax figure, some of them are very life like.

We toured Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum and were very disappointed. The next day we toured the Hollywood Wax Museum - what a difference! Many of the stars at MT's were not realistic - facial features were not true. Hollywood Wax Museum's settings & lighting brought realism to the characters and most were very true to life. We went early in the day and saw a makeup artist touching up various stars - interesting to watch.

I do not like how Denzel Washington looked. They could have done a better job on him. He do not look nothing like his self.

My husband and I were in town just for a few days and having fun in Hollywood. We came across this museum and decided to go in on spur of the moment. I think we both had tons more fun than we ever expected. We didn't know they would have props so you could pose with the wax figures, and we did almost every one. Most of them were spot-on in likeness too! The horror section (pictured) was a cool surprise. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it.

First time in LA. Dirty, crowded, ugly city. Museum was pretty small, was done in 30 minutes. I went with my husband and 2 small children. Toddlers. Not stroller friendly, very small walking spaces. Not many wax figures. Was not impressed with the quality of the figures. It was not busy at all and still way too crowded for the small space provided. Couldn't enjoy myself being in such a hurry to be courteous letting others through as well. While others weren't courteous taking too much time taking pictures and having us wait a long time. Don't go, you're missing absolutely nothing! not exciting or even interesting. Only positive thing I'd say is the price. I did the VIP 3 museums package and I thought 35 wasn't bad.

Thank you for visiting and for your feedback. We’re sorry you felt rushed, as we encourage all our guests to take their time, enjoy posing for photos with the wax figures using the fun props we provide, and get to know the stars better throughout the experience. We’re glad you chose the VIP Pass. It really is a great value.

Did the VIP ticket with this museum, world records museum, and Ripley's Believe it or Not. Definitely worth it to do all three. Fun times with for a family

Great last minute activity that could take as long as you like. Well positioned, and entertainingly posed celebrities. Definitely will be part of our regular activity on future trips.

We bought the three ticket package with the Guiness and Ripley's because my boyfriend really wanted to go see what they had to offer. It was fun but the displays are quite old and run down. Madame Tussauds is much more realistic.

The price was like $22.95. I think that was way to much for what the museum had to offer. Without reading who the celebrities were I did not know who they were. We were a big group and was done with the tour of the museum in about 20 mins.
