- Erin W00Wonderful day!Since we rely so heavily on other peoples reviews, I figured I should start to submit more of my own to help other people. As we toured southeast Asia as a family there is always so much to do that relates back to the history of the region, and I knew our teenagers would need a few days of respite so our day with stray dog adventures was one of the more exciting days that we had planned. We had read many reviews of happy customers and we were also very pleased with the customer service that we received. Two of our riders are less experience than the other three, so in order to help all five of us to have a fun time, the guides split off separately and we slowly made our way back around to meet back up at the end. This way it made an opportunity for our more experienced riders to do more adventurous trails and the two less experienced riders to go an easier route. We all met up on the other end and everyone was very happy. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone for any level of writing ability!
- MariaSarig00Good adventure if not beginnerMe and my husband took 1 day bike tour specifying that we are beginners and would like something average. The scenery was beautiful! Shiran and Charlie very helpful and smiling! The bikes were really good, one had a battery fault which Charlie managed to somehow work out. Very good mechanics! However, the routes given were far beyond a beginners level, and the problem was that we were given the option to go through the jungle, in case we wanted to experiment even more, but noone told us what 'going through the jungle' means. So, it was extremely difficult for me and some parts quite dangerous. At the end we advised Shiran to clearly specify the routes beforehand, to give more instrucrions on how to drive the bike and through some photos or videos the level of difficulty to be decided beforehand. I do recommend the Stray Dogs, the experience was amazing, but be careful when you dont have the level or competence. Charlie, thank you for the help :)
- 569pavanr00Best off road ride everBest off road ride ever for me.Pro bikers can eventually enjoy this trip with the best off road track .
- 698brian00Best ride eva!!!I just finished a 3 day ride with Francios and it was unforgettable. Not only did he make sure I had a good ride, he made sure I had a good time when we werent riding....everyone said I was nuts for going during the monsoon but it turned out to be mostly perfect weather, lush green environment, some hard riding but overall 5 stars here guys.....dont waste ur time with anyone else...Franscois is the guy!
- WillShers00Day tourThis was probably the best day of my life. I motocross at home so had some experience already. I went riding with 2 guides and myself only. Scouted out new routes. Saw parts of Cambodia no one else will. All types of terrain. Guides are accommodating and great fun. Enough said.
- Byron H009 day Phnom Phen to Siam Reap - off/ on roadWell organized / supported. Shiran acted as guide, and we had Teran as a riding mechanic and a support truck. We definitely got off the beaten path. Accomodations were OK, with hotels with AC for all but two nights. Due to weather, we could not camp the one planned night, and we had one night in a guest house. Shiran and team were very helpful and accommodating. One of our group needed to return home due to a personal emergency and this was managed extremely well. We also had a range of rider experience in dirt riding and they adjusted to make it fun for all. Would highly recommend, both the Area and Stray Dogs
- michel-wood00Crazy dayWe had a amazing day .very nice owners .fantastic views .full of fun .thanks so much for this fantastic day .all the best
- Jason L00Awesome 2 days!!!Did the 2 day adventure! Sothearen our guide was fantastic. I was in a group of 3 on the first day, we were experienced and so he took us on challenging terrain which was great! The second day I was alone and we went to some amazing places and it made my trip! It's probably best suited to someone who has bike experience but can't recommend enough! I'll be doing again for sure! Thanks.
- Ian M00Day rideExcellent tour with Teran easy days riding, very knowledgable guide with good English spoken.highly recommended will go again.
- Rachael A00beginnerThis tour was great but you should have a little experience in motorbikes before doing this. We road through the jungle in some tight trails and over rocky areas to the waterfalls.
- MickT91100Good stuffOut with Sonia and Theron. The morning session and lunch at the waterfall was super. Challenging and exhilarating, followed by a magical little rest stop at waterfall to recharge. Theron was extremely patient with the other rider who kept dropping the bike and eventually damaged it. Unfortunately, I've deducted a point for the review because the afternoon session totally accommodated the other rider because they did not want to cross water and it was virtually flat all the way home, I could of done it on a Moto. Was just a big let down, as was hoping for more of a challenge. Still, awesome and highly recommended.
- SammyOtres00Good fun. Some of the best off-road driving is available in Cambodia, and Stray Dog offers great trips at reasonable prices.. Decent XR's that wont brake down that often..
- GordonIM00Fun day ride in SihoukanavilleI did a one day off-road ride with Stray Dog. We covered some fun terrain, and rode some pretty awesome trails and roads. I recommend if looking for something different, and a thrill. You should have some off-road experience.
- Olek J00Unbelievable adventure! If it were possible, I'd give it 6/5 stars! The trail was constantly changing, going through the city, dirt roads, rocks, mountain valleys, across rivers, jungle, sand, uphill/downhill, getting super narrow and broadening up again, etc. I felt like the throttle under my right arm was an adrenaline pump. Hands down the best experience during my month of travelling around Asia! That was my first time riding a manual transmission and my guide was very patient with me at the beginning. We had lunch at a waterfall, it felt great to cool down in the water.
- 84Tom8400DON'T EVEN LOOK FOR A REASON NOT TO DO THIS!I have been to 40 odd countries. I have done many things. I come from New Zealand, land of extreme sports. But this... I cannot put into words how awesome the day was. I was expecting a little ride through a wee forest and maybe a bit of dirt roads. The boys took us on the most extreme off road trail that intermediate and beginner mixed riders can do! 5 of us in total. We had 14 spills during the day :D Be prepared to drop the bike. You will be wearing armour. It will be fine! Mau and the French guy (forgot your name sorry!) are the best guides you could ask for. The are respectful and know the track. They let your really give the bikes a good thrashing. All in all this is the best adventure tourism I have ever done. Tips - Bring socks and maybe extra water. If it's really sunny and hot you will suck it down. Strapping tape if the boots start to wear at your ankles. A good attitude.

This is a day to remember and believe me you're not going g to forget it in a hurry.
I have been riding a road bike for 30 years or so, I'm still alive so can't be too bad, but this is completely different, much more physical and tough than you expect. That's not to say it wasn't the most fun you can have with your clothes on, because it is, the guys at straydog are fantastic, they kit you out with pretty good protective gear and a decent bike and away you go !
Moa really looked after me Tue whole day helping me up after dropping The bike which happened a lot, to sorting out lunch and drinks along the route.he even gave me a lift home afterwards, a real nice guy
I would recommend this day without reservation and would love to go back and try one of their longer tours.
Give it a go you won't regret it

I have been riding all over the country for many years and own a dirt bike tour company as well. I thought Sihanouk ville is just a few beaches and a waterfall nearby...but....
The day ride i experienced with Francois, a very knowledgeable guide, about Sihanouk Ville was more than the usual tourist will get to see. We have been riding on several small single tracks, through the forest of Ream National Park, some hidden beaches, and rocky technical single trails!
Francois is a pretty cool guy and knows the trails and the terrain very well. He keeps a good speed so everyone can follow him. We also stopped on several view points where we could enjoy the scenery of the south.
The bike he provided (Honda XR250R) was in pretty good condition and had all the necessary modifications for off road riding.
I can only recommend his business and his day tours in the areas!
Thanks a lot for that great adventure!
Cheers

An amazing ride, one of the best of my life. No problems with bikes, very well organised for our group. Can not fault this company at all. The guide was a great young local lad who enjoyed our company as much as we did his. Highly recommend doing a bike tour with these guys, for riders of all levels.

I went with Francois on my second day in Sihanoukville. I've never ridden a bike before and he took me through everything until I was comfortable. We then went along insane logging paths through the jungle, over streams, rock beds, mud, forests, more mud, past water buffalos and all sorts of other things. We stopped for lunch at a waterfall, which was much needed. The day was incredibly hot and, unfortunately, my clutch wire broke...in the middle of the jungle...which was fun. After Francois tried to fix it for about 45 minutes we gave up and he rode the broken bike to the waterfall while I rode his bike. He took the bike back to the shop and came back about an hour later with a new one. Truly an amazing experience. My only complaint, only one, is that despite the fact we spent an hour with a broken motorcycle, I wasn't offered any discount at all. Not a big deal, but even a few bucks would have been a nice gesture. Still, Shiran and Francois run a superb operation and I would highly recommend Stray Dogs to anyone wanting to try this out or experienced riders. You won't be disappointed!

I use this all the time so now have the app and catching up on reviews.
I did this tour a good while ago and always meant to do a review.
It was definitely up there as one of the best days of my life, could not have enjoyed it more.
I was a complete novice on motorbikes. Emailed in advance that I had never ridden before, but was assured it was okay.
We practiced getting used to the bikes for about half an hour, when
we are all ready and used to the bikes. Was a group of just 3 of us as beginners, we went off with our guide across the countryside, seeing loads and some routes were good for our level and some were a trial by fire, however none were too difficult and the guide is very patient and helpful. And the feeling is great when you make it to the top of something you would have thought impassable.
You stop half way through the day in a little village by some falls and have lunch, carry on the day riding through a mix of county and more jungle type areas. Even get the bikes on a small traditional river boat and jump off to ride other areas.
Some amazing GoPro footage.
You end the day feeling an expert on the bikes and then we had a few beers, with the owner and the other tour for the experienced guys and chatted for a couple hours.
All great fun, I loved it, could not recommend more

Mau was our tour guide and there were only myself and one other person on the tour. It's a hard day's riding in the heat, humidity while wearing all the protective gear, but the experience was one I'll never forget. The bikes were in great condition (I ended up hiring the one I rode on tour for there remainder of my stay in Sihanoukville).

Did a day tour with our guide Francois, whom was excellent with safety always number 1 factor, also if you didn't fancy doing any of the tricky bits he would do it for you.
You start on an amateur course then it gradually gets harder, through forest, water, sand and rocks.....stopping off at a village with a waterfall for a good lunch.
Unfortunately my bike had a puncture then the battery was loose but these things you have to expect sometimes doing this kind of thing, and nobody's to blame, but they have a top mechanic on hand!
You receive full biking equipment, helmet, gloves, boots, body amour and trousers and top!
This was one of my highlights of Cambodia and a personal goal after being badly injured in a motorbike crash 10 years ago.....
BOOK THEM you won't regret it.
Tip: bring plenty of water (2-4 litres) you will need it, and your camera.

Then tour guide meow (probably misspelt) and owners of this enduro day are amazing, unfortunately could only stay for one day riding due to my visa, but I would recommend this to anybody who likes bikes from begginers to experienced, saw some incredible places of then beaten track and loved every minute, the bikes were all in good condition and perfect for the conditions and could handle all the stick we gave them. Thanks again, (long haired) pete from England, hopefully ride again !!

I know Shiran and Francois since April 2013, and many times, I've considered it as a chance. Great guys, chilled out and serious at the same time, they manage the Straydog Adventures business with unlimited care, passion and dedication.
I've done few rides with them around Sihanoukville and Kampot, all being great experiences as they've both got an extensive knowledge about the trails around. I recently had the opportunity to do a hell of a crazy tour : Siem Reap --> Sihanoukville - via the Cardamoms mountains. For those who may not know much about Cambodia, it is quite of a dream tour.
It all started with the preparation of it. A lot of work. Either Shiran is able to manage millions of things in his head, either he comes from another galaxy cluster. I'm 85% positive, he's an earthling.
This was a great experience, going through the authentic Cambodia, beautiful places, villages, dirt trails, jungle, and so on. Ecstatic quiet rides, some a bit more sporty, but all of them massively funny. There have been few hard moments, but were we not looking for some adventure? And some adventures, there are quite a lot to go through, here. I will never forget that bamboo raft that we built, in order to cross a river in the jungle. Shiran never EVER gives up, when I have to confess that I would have. He was behind every bike, lifting, pushing, helping, encouraging. Impressive karma, my friend!
I do deeply recommend these guys if you're looking for great fun. They will organize a tailor made tour according to your level and expectations, ensuring that you get the fun that you're looking for, making sure that everybody's safe, comfortable and enjoying the ride.
A special shout out to my mate Francois : 'CAUSE I'M A ROCK STAAAAAR...!

One of the best days had in Cambodia was dirt biking with the guys from Stray Dog Adventures.
Shirahn was everything you could ask for in a guide, professional, easy going and very patient, as was needed when taking two beginners through the jungles of Sihanoukville for the first time.
The day started out in a quiet open area to get used of the bikes and to show our guide how we ride, then we were off, flat out through farm lands following the ox cart tracks through vine infested jungle and creek crossings, stopping every so often to clear the track and find a way to get the bikes through fallen trees and vines. We stopped for a dip at a waterfall for lunch, which was well needed to re-charge for the long ride home.
I highly recommend this day to anyone feeling adventurous and are ready for a challenge, the guys from Stray Dog will do everything to look after you and guide you through an ultimate day of adventure packed riding. I plan on returning as soon as possible for a longer adventure. Cheers Jay..
