I was the tour organiser leading a Buddhist group of 13 guests from China. It was from 7 to 14 July, all 7 nights was booked at Amankora Thimphu, Punakha, Gangtey and Paro. I liaised with Jaclyn whom communicated in both Mandarin and English. She was very professional on the tour arrangement and have offered us the best Amankora offer which we only paid for 5 nights though was for 7 nights. It was a very good deal indeed. Though there should be a Free Spa massage included in our tour package for our guests, Amankora didn't honour the agreement, Bhutan Best Travel disputed with them which was rejected. However, as a goodwill which Bhutab Best Travel have committed to us for the Spa experience, they bear the cost for our guests. We sincerly appreciate their good and kind gesture. We truly enjoyed their Chinese guide and a Rinpoche accompany our group which have enriched our Buddhist experience in Bhutan. During the tour Jaclyn and Nidup were always in contact to ensure we are in good care with all tour arrangements. When looking for a company to provide a private guide for our trip to Bhutan, I read a very useful piece of advice from the ‘Lonely Planet’; do your research as you’ll spend a lot of time with your guides. So I painstakingly read every review of guides I could find and chose Bhutan Best Travel. This was back in 2019 for a trip booked for 2020. Everything had been booked and a 50% deposit paid but of course this got cancelled due to the Pandemic and Bhutan Best Travel meticulously refunded every penny of my 50% deposit. Last year, I contacted Nidup & Jaclyn again and was delighted when they remembered me and also our needs and hotel preferences. We booked a 10 day tour staying at Thimphu, Gangtey, Punakha and Paro. If you’re not familiar with the way tours are booked in Bhutan; you are paying for a guide, driver and your accommodation. Included is food and entry fees. We opted for 5 star hotels and if you have the opportunity book a stay at the Gangtey Lodge which is a destination in itself. We had two guides for our trip, Tashi who was a great guide; informative yet fun. And Sangay, who was the driver. He was superb; very safe and responsible. As two woman, over 50, it was so reassuring to be looked after by both these men who were true gentleman. I suffer with ill health & mobility issues. They were they both incredibly patient and polite. Itineraries were changed at the last moment, surprise picnics arranged. They even took us to see locals playing ‘darts’ But it was the little things which I shall remember like arriving at the top of the Tigers Nest and Sangay producing a flask of tea and a box of pastries from his rucksack. And my dailey jokey WhatsApp. messages & videos from Tashi. On our last day, it didn’t feel like we were saying goodbye to guides but to friends. I would also like to add that throughout our trip Nidup & Jaclyn were in constant contact making sure everything was to our satisfaction, which it was. I would also add how they went beyond the expected to secure us two seats on the ‘right’ side of the plane so we could see Everest on our flight back home. A trip to Bhutan is a once in a lifetime vacation and so make sure you find the right guides for your trip. For me, Bhutan Best Travel were the best I could have possibly chosen and I am sure they would be for you too.

This is the 1st time with group from Vietnam to Bhutan for a 5 Days trip. Jaclyn was patient with our many questions and re-drafting of itineraries couple of times. We communicated in Chinese and English. From arrival to departure everything was perfectly arranged. What an incredible experience! I travelled with Bhutan Best Travel for a 10-day trip in Bhutan, visiting Paro, the Haa Valley, Punakha, Gangtey and Thimphu. I was impressed with the booking process and email communication from the company. All my emails were answered promptly and I received a detailed itinerary, visa information, a guide to Bhutan and details about flights. The company booked our flights from BKK to Paro on Druk Air with no problems at all. The hotels were of a better standard than we were expecting. They were clean, comfortable and the staff were helpful. The hotels were not necessarily the most central however, they had great views of the surrounding areas and we could watch the planes land at Paro airport which we enjoyed. We tended to stay at the hotel at night and play games. The transport was comfortable and our drivers drove safely on the winding mountain roads. Our guide Tashi was very friendly and he did a good job of showing us the main points of interest. The hikes that he suggested were great and I thoroughly enjoyed them. He also took us to watch archery and darts being played in Paro and Thimphu, which was fun! Highlights of our itinerary were The Tiger's Nest, Punakha Dzong, hiking in the Gangtey region and going to the Haa Valley. I also enjoyed rafting in Punakha, hiking to the monastery in Thimphu and the hot stone bath in Paro (after hiking to The Tiger's Nest. Regarding the food. Most of the time it is buffet-style or you are brought a range of dishes. Whilst this is fine, we only got to choose from a menu twice in 10 days and sometimes we just wanted to make our own food choices. If you are vegetarian, make sure you ask for some protein to accompany your meal. My friend struggled with having carbs and vegetables but with no fish / lentils / eggs etc. As a meat eater, it was easier. Do try the chili and cheese! I loved it! I would recommend travelling with Bhutan Best Travel, as overall our experience was such a positive one and we really did have a brilliant time.

On top of the beauty (I'm lost for adjectives describing Bhutan) Bhutan has to offer, Bhutan Best Travel agency performed a very exceptional job for my tour. Jaclyn, the Managing Director, prepared my itinerary and helped process my visa. That went very smooth. She's very prompt. She answered all my questions very quickly and gave helpful tips. Upon arrival in Paro, I was greeted by Sangay Tashi (guide) (+975 17 797 476) & Kinley Wangdi (driver). They were absolute fun. At first I thought they've known each other for a long time. But only then at latter part of the tour had I learned that it's their first tour together. It just all came down to professionalism with fun! Sangay (my guide) was total fun. Made sure to throw some jokes around to break the ice. AND, he made sure every time I checked in the hotel, that everything in the room was CLEAN and FUNCTIONAL. He made sure that I could connect my two phones to the wifi network, as it seems usually hotels default one device per person for wifi connection. And Sangay always asked for two wifi access codes for me. I appreciate that he squeezed in additional sites in days when we finished earlier than planned. This is beyond what I paid for. I also had fun immersing myself with the local cuisine. Sangay made sure that I could choose to have local food and drinks. And thanks to him I did. We dined in couple of local restaurants and a farmhouse. Local food is a stunner! Kinley (my driver) performed a Mask Dance for me one day we're on our way to Punakha. On the day they mentioned that he'd perform the dance, I thought they were joking. Days later, he actually did dance. And did it on a roadside near cliff, with beautiful view. I appreciate that this was one way to keep me not only entertained, but also immersed to the culture. His driving skills is very commendable because he drove so very safely and smoothly all through out. They let me sit in front of the car and let me control my window at my comfort, for taking pictures or for air. These two were also good at taking pictures and videos, which is essential nowadays. :P Their combo is absolute fun. Back in Paro, they shared homemade Ara, a local liquor, and we had it my hotel. These are some of things that's beyond their job, but they extended their hospitality. At all times, they made sure I was aware that I could revisit and discuss the itinerary for any adjustments based on my preferences, and that I could ask to stop the car if I saw beautiful spots I'd like to see or take pictures of. On my last day there, they took me to the airport. It was hard to say goodbye. 10 days was short but the bond I formed with these two guys is like the bond of very good friends. Overall, it's not only the place that gives a visitor, but also its people. And Bhutan + Bhutanese people = Comfort of Home.

7 days of Bhutan was filled excitements. We got the best guide (TashiLa) who is full of information and knowledge. And Driver (Sangay Khandu), who is experienced and calm. My wife and I did a 7 day tour with Best Bhutan in March 2024. We were guided by Wangdi, with Khandu as our driver. Am truly fortunate that our group of 9 have booked our 7 days Bhutan trip with Bhutan Best Travel. As our group are mostly elderly we had encounter some unpleasant situations that arise on our 3rd day, but however, Jaclyn and Dorji including our tour guide Jimmy and driver Sangay were there to help us through and all of them even went through the extra mile and effort to make some special arrangements for our group. We are typically independent travelers so the idea of an obligatory guide/tour was originally a concern. We had concerns about trustworthiness of all travel agencies especially when it came to sending money. We ended up booking with Bhutan Best Travel and we are happy we did so. We found the agency to be well run, responsive, thoughtful, and trustworthy. We would like to thank our great guide Phuntsho and our great (and hilarious) driver Khundu. Phuntsho was extremely knowledgeable and I found him to be always thinking about what we as a couple were most interested in doing - he would change our itinerary as he saw fit, based on what he knew we enjoyed doing. Khundu was extremely attentive - he even noticed how much water I was constantly drinking and always making sure I had enough (and always pointing out bathrooms so I could use them, because I drink too much water). In terms of the itinerary we saw everything we wanted to see and did several nice hikes. Accommodations were sufficient for our needs (4 stars) but if you want better (5 stars like Aman) or worse (3 star hotels) that is your choice. The car was comfortable - a 4 wheel drive SUV. I highly recommend Bhutan Best Travel for your Bhutan travel needs and if we are to return in future we will be reusing Bhutan Best Travel and requesting the same guide and driver again.
