- michaeljW2553KA0 contributionsBhutan - Unforgettable Journey 2023Our trip to Bhutan was truly unforgettable. Although we had originally planned to travel in 2020, we had to postpone due to Covid. But finally, in 2023, we were able to embark on our much-awaited journey, and it was well worth the wait. We were lucky enough to have Sonam as our guide for the week, and he made sure that we are enjoying our time in Bhutan. The hotels we stay were not only comfortable but also had stunning views of the valleys. The meals were also a highlight of our trip - we were introduced to the local cuisine and it was an absolute delight to our taste buds. The hike to Taktsang Monastery, also known as the Tiger's Nest, was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip. It was a challenging but rewarding experience to trek through the mountains and arrive at the iconic monastery. The view from the top was breathtaking and it was an experience that we will never forget. I want to give a special thanks to Bharat for arranging such a fantastic trip for us. His attention to detail and knowledge of the area was evident throughout our journey. We felt safe and comfortable at all times and we truly appreciate everything he did for us. We highly recommend this beautiful country and would definitely travel with Bharat and his team again.Written May 2, 2023
- B9455AHmikea0 contributionsBest tour company in BhutanWe had the best time in Bhutan with Happiness Drukyul Holiday! Probably, it is one of the best trips we ever had. We booked this tour for 2020, but due to the pandemic, we were not able to travel, and finally, our small group tour to Bhutan happened in 2022. 5 Days Bhutan tour started from Paro. We visited Thimpu and Punakha, and the highlight of the Bhutan tour was the hike to the Taktsang Monastery. Our guide Karma and driver Sonam were very friendly, and polite and they have lots of information about Bhutanese culture, history, geography as well as, and Buddhism. If you are planning to visit Bhutan, just go with these people, they are awesome! Highly recommended!!Written December 19, 2022
- sarahmN3027PT0 contributionsShort Bhutan TourWe spend 2 Nights in Bhutan as we found the cost is very expensive. But the experience is once in a lifetime! The Sightseeing tour of Thimphu was very good. The hike to Taktsang Monastery is one of the best things we have done. The guide Pema and driver, both were great! We walked very slow, but guide wait for us and whenever we have some questions, he always answers very easily. As we are here for very short time, we found 2 nights is not enough to see the main highlights and at least should spend 4 nights. We saw some pictures online and we thought we will see those sites, but it is not in our itinerary! It is our fault as we did not research. Anyway, you are highly requested to book with them for the great experience.Written November 18, 2022

- Qbjak0 contributionsgoodWe enjoyed so much during our Bhutan Tour. This day trip to Taktsang Monastery was our highlight in Bhutan! We thought Bhutan is very cold and packed so much for a week holiday, but it is not as cold as we thought. Our guide Karma was phenomenal. He was incredibly knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor, and could tell that he loved what he was doing! I couldn’t Happiness Drukyul Holiday enough! It was a great way to immerse ourselves in the Bhutanese culture.Written February 9, 2020
- dorotka_r500 contributionsSuper! The trip was fantastic from start to finish. Our guides were amazing and we got to experience everything we planned on seeing while we were in Bhutan. We were also treated to a local farmhouse dinner on our last night, which was unexpected. It was fantastic. Thank you.Written February 6, 2020

- w1travellers0 contributionsHike to Taktsang Monastery in Bhutan was the prime Highlight of our trip!!!It was our first visit to Bhutan and what a place it is! All our Bhutan tours were handled by Happiness Drukyul holidays and they deliver the service more than expected. Our guide was excellent with good English and great knowledge about Bhutanese culture. Bhutan travel wouldn’t have been amazing without him, Mr. Dorje, our guide. Hike to Taktsang Monastery in Bhutan was the prime highlight and we enjoyed it to the fullest. Our guide even helped us carry our backpacks at some points when we were a bit tired. The tour package which we took is a complete adventure in Bhutan with cultural tours and little bit of hiking; another one was a short walk to the Chimi Lhakhang – the fertility temple including the Khansum Chorten Hike in Punakha. People feel Bhutan tours are expensive but for what we paid, we got more than what we have expected with our recent Bhutan travel. We really enjoyed our Bhutan tours to the fullest and Bhutan travel is something one should do in one’s lifetime. Hike to Taktsang Monastery in Bhutan is the most we enjoyed and will be in our memories for a long time. We highly recommend Bhutan travel which combines both cultural sightseeing and adventure in Bhutan.Written December 10, 2019
- YweTravel20 contributionsAmazing AdventuresWe booked a 6 day Adventure tour with Happiness Drukyal and could not have been more happy with our tour and especially our guides, Sonam and Sinye a.k.a (Lion). The country of Bhutan is absolutely beautiful. We arrived in Thimphu after a short drive from the airport in Paro. Our hotel was very modern and pleasant. We overlooked the Memorial chorten and were awoken to the chanting and prayers being held there. We journeyed over Dochula Pass and on to Punakha where we once again had an amazing hotel with a magnificent view. The next day we took a 20 km cycling tour, followed by a hike to Khamsum Chorten, after which, we completed a river rafting tour for about 90 minutes. A fantastic day. Upon return, we went to Paro where we visited some other Dzongs before our final destination, the trek to Taktsang Monastery. It was quite a hike but well worth it. It was an amazing place and it makes you wonder how they could have possibly built this monastery into the mountain. The final night we were also treated to a dinner at a farmhouse by a local family. This was completely unexpected but so worth it. I cannot say enough good things about our time in Bhutan and our wonderful guides. Thank you very much Sonam and Sinye. We hope to see you again one day. Craig O Zoe CWritten November 15, 2019

Windhorse offers the possibility to work with an european contact ( Bas Naus), who helped us a lot in the preparing of our tour. It is a real pleasure to talk with someone as Bas, who knows that country so good, he really made a tour sized to our expactations. Also, his price was in te cheapests.
we had a very good local team: Tashi as driver and Denzin as driver.
We highly recomend these two guys: Tashi knows buthan cvery well, loves his country, and really wants us to love it. Denzin is a real professional driver, has a lot of experience, and it is very impotant to feel safe on these small montain roads.
Both of them made of these 8 days something amaising.
