About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- desumr0 contributionsPeace against the world kind of an experience in Bhutan 🫶🏻For sure Bhutan is one of my favourite country, The sceneries in Bhutan is splendid , with greens, peace and culturally rooted places. I have come across the most amazing and humble people in Bhutan who made me feel so welcomed and it’s quite clean and preety safe for a solo travelers . I really enjoyed the taksang trekking and the amazing view of phunaka valley. The architecture are so unique and one of a kind. And this was all possible because of the @worldtourplan , who made my stay enjoyable. Also I had my stay at numinous hotel, since the day I arrived the staff hospitality had my attention and I really appreciate it , the hotel is pretty hygienic and the food is far better than other 5 stars hotel.Written August 8, 2024
- triprich220 contributionsAmazing TripTheir marketing team was by far the most punctual compared to others that I contacted. They were willing to work with me on customizing the tour for my needs. The tour guide and the driver combo was amazing. They accommodated every single request that I had during the 7 day private tour. I highly recommend their company.Written June 29, 2024
- Pareickjfor0 contributionsHighly recommendedFantastic experience and brilliant organisation and help from the team at World Tour Plan. 6 days gives you enough time to see the important temples, as well as fit in a two day hike in the area above the Tiger's Nest. Our guide Singke was wonderful - knowledgeable, fun, great English, and good company throughout. Highly recommend it.Written April 18, 2024
- Passenger033678721490 contributionsBhutan, at long last! Thanks to John’s World Tour Plan nudge and the recent Bollywood buzz, the Land of the Thunder Dragon finally called my name. After years on my bucket list, I embarked on a solo adventure, armed with a fantastic customized itinerary and, surprisingly, a female guide and driver . Thank you, Mr. Karma. From the serene Sitting Buddha to the vibrant vegetable market, each stop was a tapestry woven with breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, and genuine smiles. The highlight, of course, was Tiger's Nest, perched precariously on a cliffside like a dream come true. This solo journey has left me with a treasure chest of memories and a yearning to return, next time with family, to delve deeper into Bhutan's magic. So, until next time, see you !Written January 27, 2024
- Culture464577885210 contributionsBest tour by World Tour PlanFresh from the magic of Bhutan, and we owe it all to World Tour Plan! Ramesh, our knowledgeable and friendly guide, and Rabsel, our skilled driver, crafted an incredible adventure. We reveled in cozy hotels, mouthwatering dishes Ema Datshi, Bollywood royalty's pick and now mine!, and breathtaking sights. World Tour Plan team, you exceeded every expectation! I will visit again with my friends and family next time, for sure. Kardenchey La!Written January 26, 2024
- wdantzler0 contributionsA magical way to explore BhutanWorld Tour Plan is willing to go above and beyond by customizing a tour of Bhutan that meets your needs. I appreciate their responsiveness to my initial inquiry, quick turnaround of the visa, and willingness to change the itinerary. I would recommend booking with them and would do so again. I was ill at one point and I appreciate their concern with my well being via message. I would say the only drawback is the proprietor of these tours is removed from the process. Save for an introductory phone call to take payment, they were essentially done with the tour once I was connected with my tour guide. This is more of a middle man operation, I prefer to work directly with the tour guides if possible.Written January 12, 2024
- msld20180 contributionsBreathtaking scenery and amazing serviceI did a solo 10-day tour. I was met by the guide Singye and the driver, Dorji at the airport and we ended up having a fantastic time. I had requested more hiking than what was offered on the multi-city itinerary and Singye happily obliged. He was an excellent guide who has a vast knowledge of his country, particularly the nature. He ensured the pace was appropriate and was always helpful. I got tonsillitis and they took me to hospital and sorted out the medication which allowed me to miss very little of the itinerary. Each of the hotels were situated at the best locations with amazing views. I'm not usually in any 'star' hotel as my style is extreme budget but this was a lovely treat. It was an unforgettable once on a lifetime trip and I'm so happy World Tour Plan helped this come to fruition. I highly recommend the company and would love to return fjr some trekking and camping.Written October 29, 2023
- A3478LEchrish0 contributionsSimply the Best!I participated in the Best of Bhutan tour by World Tour Plan with a one day add on. I have visited 165 countries and have looked forward to visiting Bhutan and was not disappointed. It was a beautiful country, my favorite so far, and the itinerary was excellent as were the selected hotels. Most significantly, my guide, Tenzin, and my driver were superb. Their English was excellent and they were fun, flexible and knowledgeable. I can not recommend them more highly.Written September 23, 2023

- Djcali200 contributionsGreat three-day experience in Bhutan!Wonderful experience!! I only spent three days traveling solo in Bhutan but it was so much worth it! The places and sights I wanted to visit and see, from Tashichho Dzong to Paro Takstang and even more were all squeezed in such a short period despite the distance of locations! My highly knowledgeable tour guide Mr. Tashi Norbu and the careful driver were very friendly. Food at the selected restaurants and hotels was great, though I hope to have a bigger stomach so I could have finished all the very hefty servings! The staff at the hotels where I stayed were very accommodating. Rooms were very clean and tidy too. I wish I could have stayed longer, but it just means I'll be coming back! Thank you World Tour Plan for a well-arranged private tour!Written February 2, 2023
- sherilag820 contributionsworthwhileThis tour package was worth it. The beautiful mountains and valleys were so beautiful. The hiking was one of the best thing i did in Bhutan. The welcome hospitality by the guide and the driver was very welcoming. Moreover they were very patient and knowledgeable. The arrangements were done professionally and all were up to the expectation. The historic monastery, temples were so rich in history and i liked very moment spent in Bhutan. i would surely visit again and recommend World tour Plan to be your next holiday planner.Written January 31, 2023
- Raj30ji0 contributionsBhutan my second homeAfter waiting for more than three years, I finally did it. I visited Bhutan again. This time I stayed for longer days. This trip was customized one of 15 days .I stayed mostly in farm house and I did lots of hiking . My favorite hike among all is taktshang hike and phobjikha hike. What more you need when you are provided with good car and an experience guide. Enough to make best of memories. I was lucky this time about food. I was serve alacarte. Thanks to the owner for looking into it. My menu wasn't repetitive unlike previous visit.I will visit again next year with my family. Until then see you. Thank you for your great hospitality. Namaste 🙏Written January 22, 2023
- sakshisacdeva190 contributionsWorthwhile Extended tripWhat a great stay it was! Me and my family we reached back from the trip and i cant imagine how beautiful the stay was. We were warmly welcomed by the guide at the airport. The guide and the driver was very humble. since the beginning of the trip it went as planned in the itinerary. The drive from the airport to the capital was very soothing to eyes, we visited Paro, Thimphu, phunakha, phobjika valley too and the experience was breath taking. The people and the places are so rooted to their culture and tradition. The places were very neat and clean, the food was something we looked forward to and it lived up to the expectation. since the tour was for 13 days and Luckily Thimphu Tshechu was being held when we were in capital SO we wanted to extent our stay for 3 more days to attend the festival and the tour operator did all the necessary arrangements in the nick of time. the festival was colorful and meaningful. sadly the stay had to end but the memories me and my family made there will always be cherished i am so very satisfied with the services rendered by World tour plan and would definitely recommend them if you are planning to visit Bhutan. Its a great place for travel gateway with family and friends. Thank you world tour plan for making this trip a success.Written November 11, 2022
- Maria C0 contributionsUnique and wonderful experienceI fell in love with Bhutan while doing the Laya - Gasa trek, which is magnificent, challenging, and just a lot of fun. The landscapes in Bhutan are absolutely stunning, the history and culture fascinating, and the people incredibly generous. Life above the treeline is extraordinary. And World Tour Plan were an outstanding partner for this trip. From planning days with Mr Karma to enjoying the trek guided by Chencho Dorji and being carefully looked after by the crew Leki and Tshewang (their food is amazing!) - everything was smooth and well organised. The World Tour Plan team were always responsive and accommodating. They went above and beyond. And I am already planning my next Bhutan trek with them...Written August 4, 2022

My Father and I travelled through Bhutan with our knowledgeable guide, Dorji, and our great driver, Bense, both warm and friendly from the moment we met them. As well as being fantastic at their jobs, they went over and above in helping us while we were in Bhutan. If you book with World Tour Plan, you won't be disappointed asking for these two!
World Tour Plan was a very easy company to work with, they responded quickly to emails and were courteous and helpful when adjusting plans. The entire tour ran smoothly and was extremely enjoyable. The accommodation that had been organised was great and all the people we met were amazing. We certainly saw some of the highlights of Bhutan and felt that the tour was good value overall, considering it was all-inclusive.
My Father and I would both be very happy to recommend both World Tour Plan, and Dorji and Bense to anyone planning on travelling to Bhutan.

I worked with World Tour Plan for our trip to Bhutan and Mr. Karma did a great job of scheduling and advising thru out the planning including our Bhutan visa, airlines ticket, and detail itinerary for every day during our visit. During our trip, we had two great people with us (Dorji and Benjay) as a guide and driver and they were really outstanding thruout the trip. They have excellent knowledge of the country and the history/background and were very informative. They were also very friendly, flexible, and helpful thru out the trip. We really enjoyed their company and our stay in beautiful Bhutan. Dorji, Benjay, and Karma, thank you so much!

The Tiger's Nest tugged precariously at a granite cliff, a 1000 meters above the valley floor of Paro- Taktshang is a cultural icon of Bhutan. For most making Bhutan their lifetime destination, Taktshang is their first choice to visit Bhutan or the sole reason to visit Bhutan.

My wife worked exclusively with BTC in customizing our trip, requiring much patience and diligence on their part. We opted to stay at some 5 star hotels but also more rustic accommodations in places like Ura Valley and Trongsan. A special thanks to the club for placing us with outstanding guides and drivers as we toured much of the central valley as well major cities. We were particularly interested in the dzongs and temples and to learn more about Vajrayana Buddhism. Climbing Tiger's Nest was not easy for two seventy year olds but we made it! Two thumps up for a paradisiacal country adjusting to the rest of the world but working hard to keep the integrity of its culture.

I just completed an enjoyable and enlightened 5 days in Bhutan. I booked through Touradar with World Travel Plan. My guide, Ugyen Phuntsho, was very competent in answering my questions and made my comfort snd safety a priority. The driver was also very good who took extra care to ensure a smooth ride.
I was impressed of the depth and breath of Ugyen's knowledge on the culture Bhutan as well as the many places we visited. He typically had a story to tell that provided the background and the significance of the place visited as well as on the national religion of Bhutan- Buddhism. Ugyen had an excellent command of English which made our interaction efortlessly.
I strongly recommend using the World Travel Plan Tour company and Ugyen Phuntsho as the guide for future bookings in Bhutan. Thanks for a job well done.

I had the chance to take a quick trip to Bhutan, and I'm so glad I did and that I chose World Tour Plan to organize. The true highlight of the trip is the trek up to Tiger's Nest, which was challenging but not as difficult as I imagined it would be. The World Tour guide and driver (both named Tashi) were both kind, professional, informative, friendly, and accommodating. Whenever changes were needed to the schedule or itinerary, the guide walked me through the options and made recommendations, but always let me make the ultimate decision. I would love to visit Bhutan again, and would undoubtedly choose World Tour again in a heartbeat. December seemed like a perfect time to visit as there wasn't a huge number of tourists and the weather was mostly cool and crisp, with just a slight sprinkling of snow one day.
One tip: if travelling in the winter, I recommend bringing lots of warm layers for the hotel, as the three-star options are not very well insulated and it can get quite cold overnight. If you really think it will be an issue, you might want to consider going for the luxury hotel option.
