This is the second time I have gone on this tour. The first time was with adults and teen boys. This second time was with 11years on up, boys, and girls, and adults that weren't in great shape. Everyone had fun and enjoyed the day. It was everyone's favorite day. The zip lining and water rafting were the favorites! Lunch was very good also.

The rapids were pretty intense on the date that we went tubing, and the guides made us feel safe and comfortable! We were a little nervous going into the experience, but by the end we were so glad we did it, and owe it all to the guides who were with us and made it so much fun!

Amazing! Crazy fun! Wonderful value! Staff is incredibly well trained and helpful. This day pass is a must! Zip lines were epic! The tubing was extra fast and water high after a stormy night. It makes for a long day to do it all but if you stay on the property the hot springs are included and can be done another day. Horseback ride was what you would expect-slow.

Exciting ziplining in canyon albeit not very long distances. Lunch was solid and the hot springs/mud was excellent way to end the visit. There were not too many people at the hot springs so it was actually relaxing.

We went early on New Year's day and had the thermal pools all to ourselves. The weather was beautiful, the backdrop, volcanic mud, and pools were relaxing and refreshing! We saw some comments about a nasty smell, aesthetics of the pools, etc., but we did not experience any offputting smells and the pools looked well maintained. These are not resort style pools with bright blue and green tiling with clear water to appease what most like to see at a nice resort or hotel. These are natural hot spring water pools and each pool has different hues which makes the adventure even more unique. We didn't smell any chemicals, the workers at the reception and at the pools were lovely and attentive. The walk to the thermal pools was well marked and pretty easy (about 5-7 minutes each way). The hanging bridges were a fun touch! We will definitely visit again and enjoyed being at the springs to kick-off 2025!

National park tour Guide Johnny was great. Adapted tour for family (senior, two teens, two adults). Lots of walking but all doable. Some uneven ground. Loved seeing the waterfalls in the park. Water was flowing too fast to swim but view was amazing. Lunch was good. On the poorer side, some confusion about transportation from adventure centre to hike site. Had to buy national park entrance online (couldn’t pay cash - so be sure to factor in that cost). Didn’t make it to the hot springs due to transportation challenges, wet weather, tired family and running out of time. Definitely more than five hours worth so plan a fuller day.

We signed up for the tubing trip, not quite sure what to expect. Our first indication was the guides saying the water level was high. Then we were in the thick of things for the next two hours, a nearly endless succession of drops, whitewater, and waves, with occasional stops for everyone to catch their breath and for the guides to get in position on the next stretch of river. It was a thrill from start to finish, in very capable hands. Thank you for an outing we will not forget!

The tubing adventure was so much fun. Not for the feint of heart this time of year (December) when the water is high, but the guides are amazing. My kids (11 and 16) loved it. Beautiful surroundings as well.

Fun adventure-filled day with spectacular scenery and a good lunch. Reading other reviews, I would agree that the horse back ride was a bit unremarkable and short and the hot pools were good; the highlights were the zip lining and whitewater rafting. There were not that many tourists when we went, so crowds were not an issue — ratio of guides to tourists was high, probably 1:2, so lots of help guiding rafts and zip lining. Zip lining in canyon had spectacular views, as did rafting. However, the day we rafted the rapids were rough and a bit alarming. I fell off at one point and went repeatedly under water which was scary, though a guide dove in immediately and held onto my life vest and lead me ashore. Another women fell out and ended up with the tube over her head which scared her so much she burst into tears at the prospect of the next set of rapids (she was escorted through the rest of the rapids). Bum repeatedly scraped rocks underneath. Unsurprisingly, from reading reviews, some people get hurt in these rapids. So, the rapids are fun as long as you don’t get hurt. The many guides are great and do their best to steer you safely, but there’s no guaranteeing you emerge unscathed. And if you simply become too frightened to continue, there’s no option but to continue. I definitely would not take a young child down those rapids. Having said that, the guides were excellent (positioned themselves against rocks to push riders away, closely monitored each tube, blew whistles loudly whenever anyone fell in — which happened a lot). So, rafting was very professionally done, ditto zip lining. Just be aware of the risks involved. If I ever returned, I’d do the zip lining again but skip the rafting.

The hot springs are clean and well managed. We had two people in our group who are VERY sensitive to mosquitos and no-see-ums and unfortunately they got bit by bugs VERY badly! Obviously, you do not want to wear Deet in a natural hot springs and you are sitting in the middle of a jungle, so there will be bugs. Just be forewarned, the bugs are bad. They provided towels and locker keys for belongings. It is a short walk through the jungle, over a suspension bridge and down some stairs to get to the hot springs. It is for able bodied people only.

Fun experience, beautiful views in the canyon. Guides assisted throughout the adventure, extremely nice and safety conscious.

A truly epic adventure! From start to finish, this was one of the best planned and executed experiences we have ever had. The staff is exceptional, highly trained, and very attentive. The experiences themselves, from tubing to zip lining and repelling, were thrilling, and, exceeded our expectations. Lunch was terrific! Ending the day at the Hot Springs was the ideal therapeutic conclusion to an exhilarating day. This is truly one of the best values in Costa Rica

This by far was the best part of our family trip to Costa Rica. It rained heavily during our journey, which honestly added to the fun. The guides were amazing, putting my families safety first but also goofing around with us to to take off some of the edge for those who were a little nervous! You start off over a tree canopy, and then next thing you know your zip lining through a canyon over a river. My family had 7 people ranging from 10 yrs old to 62. Anthony (Tony) was a great guide, thank you ! Can’t wait to come back! Pura Vida!

absolutely my favorite activity of the entire trip! closed toe shoes are required so i bought some water shoes at the shop for $20. we went during off season so luckily it was just our personal group of 5 and we each had our own guide. jackson made my experience so so SO much fun and exciting!! the rapids were rough and rocky with a few calmer areas in between. the surrounding nature was beautiful. i would absolutely do it again. it was not a chill or calming experience, so i recommend if you are into fast paced exciting adventures. thank you jackson and everyone else! <3

Wow is all I can say!! This was an ADVENTURE!! We LOVED it!! The zip lining was one of the most amazing experiences. We will never forget it!!! Our drive and guide was George and we loved him also. He was fantastic!!!! The tubing was intense but such a blast. The hot springs were beautiful even in the rain. This is a MUST DO excursion!!!
