        Best time of my life!
I did my 300h YTTC and 100 Meditation TTC in this school and I’m very happy that I chose them. I had amazing time and I learned a lot. The school is in really quiet area, the rooms are nice and the food is amazing, fresh water is also available. Everybody are really friendly and helpful, this was my first visit in India, I was scared at the beginning, because I came alone, but they were there for me all of the time and helped with everything possible, so I felt like home. The teachers are dedicated to yoga and giving their best to bring that knowledge to the students. A friend of mine recommended me this school, she was very satisfied from the quality and quantity of information they give about anatomy, correct asana alignment, hands on assessment, teaching practice and philosophy. (Something that is missing in other TTCs). I also searched exactly for that and I received it. For me it was really important to learn more about the philosophy and especially from someone who believes in that and practices the teachings from the scripts on daily basis. I also received that and I’m really grateful for that. Thank you Dr. Keshava - that you were & are always there for us! I also learned so much about asana, anatomy, alignment, yin, vinyasa, hatha from Yogees and Shubham. Thank you too for the amazing classes and support! (I’m sure that the teachers in Goa are also amazing!) .. I hope I am not missing to mention something, but I basically received everything that I wanted from a teacher training, so I am fully recommending it for everyone!! ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🧘🧘🏽‍♂️🧘🏿‍♂️🧘‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️🧘🏿‍♀️

        humanity and professionalism
After seven years from the 300 hour course, I chose to return to do a retreat in these mountains but above all in this school. the professionalism, the perfect organization, the seriousness but above all the humanity of master Keshava Ji and Shubu Ji are what makes this experience unique. Thanks to all the family who cooked and cleaned for us, everything was excellent! Namaste Soraya Italy

        Amazing and powerful experience 🙂🥰
I completed my 100 hr. MTT certification at Sarvaguna Yoga and I left their a changed person! If I could choose one word to sum up my experience, it would be "Powerful"! It was nothing short of a deep mind, body and soul transformation! Keshava is an amazing teacher with so many years of experience that are evident when he is teaching. He has such a wonderful sense of humor as well. I left this school even more empowered than when I arrived, taking with me solid tools and techniques to teach and practice myself. I also met a wonderful group of people through this experience that I am truly grateful for. I would recommend this school to anyone 🙂❤️🙏

        Sarvaguna Retreat and Meditation TTC
I recently completed a month long stay at Sarvaguna, Dharamsala location. My original plan was to attend a ten day retreat with daily multiple sessions of yoga and meditation. However, by the time I completed the retreat, I was so much in love with everything I experienced, I extended my stay for another two weeks and joined the 100 hour Meditation TTC. When I first signed up, I didn’t know what to expect. Also, I hadn’t practiced yoga for 25+ years and I wasn’t sure if I’d survive. But from the time I arrived at Sarvaguna. I was nothing but impressed. Realizing my limitations, each time the group was scheduled for Ashtanga or Vinyasa, Dr. Keshava arranged for a yoga class just for me. I was touched by his thoughtfulness and foresight. Whether it was a housekeeping issue, a trip to town, medicine for when I got sick, he was my go to person and he always acted kindly and promptly. With four Masters and a Ph.D, he is a trove of information. I was amazed at his depth of knowledge about Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation and Vedas. His holistic approach to each component and balanced daily schedule made my month long stay both a learning and enjoyable experience. All the yoga teachers, Shubham, Euny and Yogesh were very knowledgeable and yet quite humble. Every time any student had difficulty, they were quick to help out. My special thanks to Shubham for working with me and pushing me to improve my flexibility!! The Sarvaguna at Dharamsala is located in Upper Bhagsu, surrounded by scenic mountains and tree line. With excellent June weather I found it quite peaceful and picturesque! I am thankful to the kitchen staff (Vicky, Dinesh and Jyoti) who worked extra hard to provide three delicious meals each day. I was pleasantly surprised to see a buffet of options in each meal. Who knew “saatvic” could also be sumptuous :-) And now comes the best part: my fellow students. Right from the get go, I felt welcomed. Everyone was friendly and quick to lend a helping hand. Even though almost each student came from a different country and didn’t know others, we all bonded quickly and the synergy of the group was phenomenal!! All in all, I had a wonderful time and I’m already planning another trip in near future :-)

        Soul - rejuvenating experience
I took the 100hrs Meditation Teacher's Training at Sarvaguna Yoga with Dr Keshava in the summer of 2024. The experience was simply inspiring, transformative and heart-warming. Location: The yoga centre is situated in the beautiful upper Bhagsu region, perfectly nested away from the noise. The view of the mountains and valley from the yogashala is calming and the perfect setting for an introspective course. Dharamkot, Bhagsu, MacLeod Ganj are great places to visit in the evenings and the weekends for their endless cafes, hangout spots and live music. Teacher: Dr Keshava is inspiring and blends incredible depth of knowledge, with humour, patience and a love for teaching. He is well versed with the philosophical scriptures (yogasutras, upanishads, ...) and has a solid foundation in Sanskrit. He makes complex philosophy and meditation techniques easy to grasp and implement. For yoga asana practices, he has teachers that bring their own experiences to the practice. Special call out to Shubham who brings great structure to his teaching. Programme: The meditation program itself was very well organized and we covered immense amount of topics in the short two weeks. We had great accompanying material and it involved a healthy balance of theory and practice. We also had the opportunity to go on meditation walks to the nearby waterfall and did a group hike to Triund for a view of the Himalayan peaks. Sarvaguna Yoga organized these perfectly! For anyone who wants to understand Yoga & Meditation beyond the superficiality, this is the course for you! Food & Lodging: The rooms vary depending on what you pay. I had the 'super deluxe room' which was decently comfortable. (Part of Cosmicgeeks homestay) and was located in the adjacent building to the yogashala. Three meals served were all very nutritious and I never felt I was missing anything. Vegan friendly too. I definitely felt I left a piece of my soul there after the course, and will always be grateful to Dr Keshava and everyone else that made this 2 week program inspiring.

        Great experience
I did my 200 hours in Dharamshala and I had a wonderful experience. Starting with the room, food, location, classes, teachers and all we’d learn, everything was wonderful. So glad I had chose them for my first yoga teacher training experience. Thank you Sarvaguna 🤍🤍

Knowledgeable & kind teachers, amazing experience ✨
I remember reading these reviews and being like “Wow it seems like this yoga school is exactly what I’m looking for. Can it really be that good?” Turns out it was! I knew from the first day I picked the right 200 hr yoga teacher training. I came to have a deeper understanding of yoga philosophy, along with learning how to teach and understand anatomy, and I got all that and so much more. Keshava crammed in as much yoga philosophy as he could and was so kind with his time and energy. He does a wonderful job managing the program. He also likes to give out cake and has a fun sense of humor, which I greatly appreciate. Shubu is a fantastic yoga and anatomy teacher, and a wonderful spirit in general. I’m grateful and honored to have studied with both of them. The price is reasonable and the knowledge is rich. I’m so glad I trained at Sarvaguna Yoga Dhamma. Oh and Upper Bhagsu/Dharamshala is lovely and the people are friendly. An amazing experience. ☺️

So grateful for Sarvaguna school - best meditation course
Before my trip to India, I conducted a thorough research on the Meditation Teacher Training Courses in India. Out of 20 schools based in Northern India, I felt really drawn to Sarvaguna led by Dr Keshava. He is the most genuine, kind and pure person I have met. And Keshava is a very knowledgeable mentor - he is like a walking library. He is also caring and he cared a lot for his students and our experience during the course. I have learnt so much about meditation, as well as philosophy from Keshava. I’m so grateful for the experience and I have also met and connect with some beautiful and kind people that I feel we can be friends for life. Highly highly recommend Sarvaguna school, Keshava and his team. Amazing and beautiful people!

        Yoga Teacher Training
After doing the 100h Meditation Teacher Training in Goa last year, I came back to the school in Dharamshala for the 200h Yoga Teacher Training. The Philosophy classes and Meditations go very deep and I never got tired of Keshava's jokes 😄. In the Asana Classes we learned to teach from the first week and our Teacher Shubu prepared us perfectly to create our own Yoga classes. Keshava and Shubu were always caring and attentive to everyone of us, whether we had issues in the classes or health problems, they would always give a solution to us. I take all the great memories and a lot of skills and inspiration home 🙏🏔️💚

        Absolutely incredible!
I have been living in the Bay Area for nearly a decade, exploring meditation in various traditions. However, my experience of the 100h MTT at Sarvaguna was truly groundbreaking. With Dr. Keshava's teachings, deeply rooted in yoga philosophy/cosmology, I gained crystal-clear insights and a profound understanding of meditation. His warm personality and great support of their team made the journey even more enriching and nuturing. Located in majestic mountains, as it felt like floating among the clouds, the serene atmosphere creates a sense of being elevated, both physically and spiritually. I also want to mention that they have a nice hot shower, which is really important for us Japanese folks.Overall you get a lot more for what you pay. This should be worth 4K in the Bay Area.

        Wonderful experience
I completed a 300h YTT at Sarvaguna Yoga Dhaama and I feel truly blessed that I found this school. The quality of the courses was incredibly high and the program was nicely balanced (between meditation, pranayama, asanas, alignment clinics, anatomy, philosophy and other classes). The food was absolutely delicious and the Himalayan surroundings made everything particularly special and spiritual. Overall, it was a greatly transformative experience, and I encourage everyone who can to attend any of Sarvaguna’s trainings! Namaste, Lena.

Master yourself to serve others better : Meditate.
Nestled high up in Upper Bhagsu, sits Sarvaguna Yoga, run by Dr. Keshava and support staff. The 100h Meditation Teacher Training is epic. Over the course of 15 days, youll dive deep into the physiology, psychology, spirituality & benefits of meditation, while pushing yourself through your own obstacles to rise up as a better version of yourself, so you can teach with confidence. With 5 Masters & 1 Ph.D, Dr. Keshava is great to learn from. Joyful & knowledgeable, he walks you through the different aspects with a smile, so you can relax into your practice with ease. Bring your ‘A’ game & be ready to master yourself. Classmates can become family as the days progress, moments are shared & treks completed. The accommodation is connected to the school & the food is off the charts, 3 meals a day. You receive so much value & loving personal service = highly recommended.

My already high expectations were exceeded
This is my second trip to India for a retreat, so I did a thorough research and came to Sarvaguna yoga with high expectations. Gladly, my expectations were exceeded. Sarvaguna yoga offers a high quality mix of yoga and meditation classes. They offer programs for both new and advanced students. I came primarily for the (advanced) yoga practice and was very satisfied with the high level and great approach of both yoga teachers - Shubham and Yogesh. Honestly, they are both amazing and since their teaching style is so different, in a way, it feels complementary. I even requested to take private classes as an addition, to enhance my yoga skills, which did help me take my practice to the next level. The meditation practices were very inspiring, also the entire foundation that comes along - from the theory classes to anatomy, and philosophy - everything was super interesting and I personally learned a lot. The food in the retreat was very good, diverse, fresh, and always served on time, right at the end of the class. The view from the school is beautiful and adds to the general good energy that's all around. Dr. Kesheva who runs the place is a very kind and authentic person. It is easy to see how passionate he is about the topics he is so knowledgeable about. I was lucky to have gotten a lovely room in the Sky High resort just down the road but I think this is more of a rare occasion, only in cases when the school is fully booked (and for short-term retreat students). Overall, my experience was great and very memorable. I met lovely people and gained a lot during these 10 days - both in terms of knowledge, yoga skills, and motivation to keep deepening my yogic lifestyle.

Truly Blessed to Encounter Such Wisdom & Teaching
The time I spent at Sarvaguna Yoga Dhaama in Dharamshala was some of the most transformative of my life. My husband and I took part in the 100 hour Meditation teacher training, taught by Keshava-ji. I learnt so much about the mind, my fellow humans and Yogic philosophy and deeply about myself. It was truly brilliant, Keshava's teaching shines so brightly, I felt that I couldn't get enough! I was originally booked to do the 300hour Yoga Teacher Training, but I arrived with a bad injury which prevented me from fully taking part in the asana classes. No matter, wonderful teachers, Shubu and Yogeesh, helped me and enabled me to continue practicing with modifications even once I had switched to the meditation course. Ultimately, I felt the universe was giving all the signals that meditation was where I was meant to be and the signs weren't worng. I'm quite in awe of how Keshava runs the school with such care, kindness and compassion. It's inspiring and makes me reflect and want to do better! From taking care of health problems, to lovely trips to waterfalls and tekking, to excursions to the Dalai Lama's birthday celebrations, Keshava facilitated all to ensure we all had the best experience possible. Once the meditation course was completed, I asked if it was possible to fulfill Reiki Level 1 training with Keshava, who is a Reiki Master. Despite a hectic schedule, he took the time to train me into the healing art, something which is invaulable for me. Our accommodation was very comfortable and food super yummers! Not to mention satvic :) And being in this location, in the mountains, the Himalaya is quite remarkable. The other course participants were all true delights, I feel I have made friends for life, and I hope beyond hope that this will not be my final time at Sarvaguna Yoga Dhaama! I am immensely full of gratitude :)

I completed the 100hr MTTC at Sarvaguna, Dharamshala. The course was an excellent introduction to all aspects of meditation philosophy, theory, preparation and practice. The location is beautiful, the accommodation comfortable and clean and the food is delicious. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to confidently teach/facilitate meditation and also to those who wish to simply deepen their understanding of traditional meditation and yoga.

I recently completed my 200hr YTT and my 100hr MTT courses at Sarvaguna with Dr. Keshava and I am eternally grateful for these experiences. I traveled from the US to Dharamsala and spent 7 weeks at Sarvaguna. I knew I was going to dive deeper into my yoga practice but had no idea the amount of healing, growth and connection that I would also experience. Sarvaguna Yoga School is located in the foothills of the Himalayas, a short trek down to town and tucked far enough away that you experience the peace and stillness of being in the mountains. The accommodations are comfortable and include delicious sattvic food! Both programs are very intentional in how they are organized and Dr. Keshava goes above and beyond for his students to make sure they feel at home. The definition of yoga is union and it was magical to experience that feeling with other humans from all over the world all coming together to dive deeper into themselves. I am very grateful for the time I spent here and I am looking forward to coming back soon! Thanks Dr. Keshava and Sarvaguna for creating such a beautiful and safe space for me to heal, learn and grow.

The Yoga TTC course at Sarvaguna was life changing for me. It was a serious step in the spiritual journey.

      What I loved :
      1) Philosophy classes by Keshava. It was as if the essence of life was being distilled down in those lectures.

      2) Daily Yoga and Pranayama classes. The other teachers (Shubham Sir and others) are experts and they explained the asanas in detail.

      3) The fire ceremonies which connected me to my deeper self

      4) The sense of community and camaraderie with other participants. Even though we had just met at the course, we’ve experienced deep connections with each other... and now feels like a family.

      5) The yummmm satvik food. Thanks to Vicky and the kitchen team that took such good care of us.

It really felt like living in a community living.

What could have been better :
      1) The construction noise of the neighbouring building. This is clearly beyond the control of the school. But it did play a part in kinda disturbing some of the classes and people at times.

      2) The written notes. Although they were okay, they could have been more cohesive.

Overall, a Yoga TTC is probably a life changing experience.
I’m most glad to have done it at Sarvaguna Yoga School.

Beautiful place. It's up in the mountains so you can look down on the valley. You have trees everywhere around you. You are above the clouds. Sometimes you are in the clouds which is also recommendable. Keshava, one of the teachers, the host, is really kind and a great teacher. I enjoyed his yoga philosophy courses with my whole heart. He is very funny and passionate about teaching. The staff is really nice as well. Thank you Vicky (hope I pronounce your name well) and thank you cook and dishwasher. Very nice work if you ask me. I loved that the food was so healthy and vegetarian. The room where I stayed in was nice. Overall, I have learned so much. Even if you have a lot of experience already with meditation, this place can do a lot for you. In my whole meditation journey of 6 years almost everyday, I have seen the most progress at this place. But maybe I was lucky. Check it out for yourself if you like. Thank you for reading this. Namaste

At the Sarvaguna Yoga School I was able to complete the 200h YTT in Dharamsala in May/June 2023. Dr. Keshava, the head of the school, is a very experienced teacher with in-depth knowledge of yoga philosophy. The teaching style takes place in a relaxed atmosphere and the theoretical knowledge of yoga philosophy was easy for me to absorb thanks to the many examples from everyday life and Dr. Keshava's humor. Shubham & Yogeesh are two wonderful yogis, I can still hear their beautiful mantra chants in my head today! A very respectful approach is maintained, each student is taught individually according to their needs. This is possible thanks to the small group size and the teachers' great experience. The school in Upper Baghsu is in a quiet location and the chefs cooked us fantastic food. I found what I wasn't even looking for - I look back on these unforgettable experiences with gratitude. I did my 300 hour yoga teacher training and 100 hour meditation teacher training here in Sarvaguna in Dharamsala.
The experience was more than I could ever asked for. It was genuinly profoundly transformative and life changing for me for so many reasons!

I've learned so much. I am ready to put everything I've learned to put into my own practice and also ready share it with my community.

The knowledge was top quality and very well structured. Dr. Keshava is extremely knowledgable teacher, and such caring and kind soul. Makes you feel at home. His teaching style suited me very much. Very organized, clear explanations. Perfect balance between seriousness and humor.

Also Yogeesh and Shubu, our yoga teachers, they were amazing teachers, always making us feel equal, challenged us in a loving playful way. I loved their teaching style as well. Again very structured, and very clear.

I rate this experience as 100 out of 100 and I am wholeheartedly recommending to every single human being who thinks about doing these trainings. Do it! 💕 You will not regret it. Your soul will thank you 🪷

Wonderful introduction into pranayama and meditation and extraordinary yoga philosophy classes with Dr. Keshava 😊🙏🏽! Completed with the very good asana classes you can focus on the full range of the eight limbs of yoga. All this in nice small groups with very good vegetarian food and a helpful and friendly staff. Thanks to everyone🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
