Itinerary
- 1On this day we will see the future of the Argentina wine industry as we enjoy premium tastings and learn about high-altitude grape growing, all surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. During the day we will visit three modern wineries of varying sizes – with a focus on the smaller, more boutique wineries that are far away from mass tourism and offer a more intimate experience. We will visit their wine-making facilities, vineyards and enjoy high-end tastings in all the bodegas. We always include a little extra with the tasting, for example in some wineries we taste from the tank or barrel or enjoy a cheese pairing with our wines.

- karendT5528BE0 contributionsGreat way to explore Mendoza wine!Fabulous driver and guide to help us explore the Mendoza wine region. Andrea’s knowledge about wine, familiarity with the area and wonderful sense of humor made this a very enjoyable adventure. Stella’s driving was excellent and I swear she never looked at a map!Written January 29, 2024
- christinecE6269LV0 contributionsAuthentic, Gracious and Unforgettable! What an incredible evening! I booked this experience for my husband and adult daughter based on the reviews, and we were not disappointed. Paulina and Augustin entertain with such warmth and attention to detail. We felt like family by the end of the dinner. We dined slowly over several courses watching Paulina prepare and cook traditional Asada cuisine. She and her partner Augustin took special care to explain the ritual and significance surrounding each offering. We tried many things we’d never eaten before, and everything was absolutely delicious. If you are looking to spend an evening immersed in true Argentina Asada culture, this is the experience is for you.Written April 15, 2023
- daniellewY1262ET0 contributionsAsada: A night to rememberThe asada experience was once in a lifetime. We started with a mate experience, followed by artisan charcuterie and delicious cocktails with fresh ingredients made by Paulina. Franco taught us all about how to make the best asada while working the blazing fire. We had a private dinner while the hosts ate separately, then we gathered together for a delicious dessert. The food, company, and atmosphere made for one of the best dinners of my life. Would recommend 10/10.Written March 6, 2023
- connies8710 contributionsAmazing ExperienceThe Asado Masterclass was a fantastic experience and a memorable evening for my final day in Mendoza. Paulina was a most gracious hostess, providing explanation of the Asado experience each step along the way. Tortas fritas made fresh in a cast iron pot over the fire! Franco, grill master extraordinaire, prepared perfectly grilled beef ribs, chorizo, morcilla, and chitterlings. Honestly, I wasn't keen to try several of these, but Franco's grill skills made everything delicious! The grilled broccoli, grilled cheese, roasted pumpkin, tomato and greens salad were perfect sides preparations and the Kalos 59N malbec was a perfect pairing. A fantastic evening, under a cool Mendoza starry night was topped off with fresh peaches picked from the tree and slowly caramelized over the charcoal bed. Truly memorable and remarkable experience! And thanks to Hector for being a fantastic driver and guide!Written January 25, 2023
- connies8710 contributionsLovely DayFor our second day of wine tasting in Mendoza, Guadalupe arranged a lovely day, visiting several boutique wineries in Lujan de Cuyo region and Hector was agreeable to be our very capable driver and guide again. Carmine Granata winery was a lovely first stop with extensive display of antique wine making equipment and extensive tour of the winery facilities. Lovely wines presented with a pairing board of different cheeses, nuts, fruits, and chocolate. The next stop was incomparable Carmelo Patti winery, an amazing experience to meet an icon of Mendoza wine scene. 6 course lunch with wine pairings at Clos de Chacras Winery was the perfect way to complete a lovely day! Will definitely followup with US distributors for these wines when home.Written January 25, 2023
- connies8710 contributionsVisiting Mendoza Maipu Wine RegionAfter visiting Mendoza eleven years ago, I was keen to return and experience the beautiful region and wines again. I chose to explore some of the small boutique wineries and Guadalupe arranged a memorable series of days for us. She also easily accommodated the addition of an extra person to our reservation with late notice. CarinaE offered nice mid-tier wines for our tasting. Next time, I would request to upgrade to a premium tasting to experience the best available. The Laur Olive Oil Factory visit was fascinating and delicious; very interesting to learn how balsamic vinegar is made and enjoyed tasting several olive oils, balsamics, and delightful condiment spreads of tomato, red bean, and olive tapenade. The 5 course lunch with wine pairings at Tempus Alba Winery was fabulous with lovely view. The downside of visiting boutique wineries is not all of them offer international shipping, but most provided contact information for a US distributor (to follow up when home). I can not forget to acknowledge, Hector, our driver, was fantastic and a delight to spend the day with!Written January 25, 2023
- 6OfThe7Continents0 contributionsMalbec madness tour! Five stars!I did the tour today for the Malbec madness, if you love wine or Malbec of course I cannot recommend this tour more. And if you love wine in general, the staff and guides are so knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Everyone was bilingual, and clearly answered any questions about the wine. They are passionate about what they do, and the samples were excellent. The lunch was very filling, and by the end of the day you have sampled quite a lot of wine! Highly recommended.Written January 9, 2023
- Z3018XTfredw0 contributionsExceeded our expectationsI cannot say enough about the tour experiences provided by Mendoza Wine Camp! The "Asado Master Class" was a fun, intimate and educational experience. A real portal into an important part of everyday Argentine culture. The food and the wine were outstanding! Héctor, our guide, was engaging, informative and incredibly attentive. We considered adopting him as our son! This was our third tour with MWC and Hector within a week. Prior to each tour, the communication with Paula at their main office was excellent.Written November 6, 2022
- Venture225397002390 contributionsHighly recommend! 🍷My husband and I had such a beautiful day at the wineries, with our guide, Soledad. She arranged visits to four lovely boutique wineries. All of the hosts knew Sole and it made for a very personal experience. We ended out tour with lunch at Terrazas. Beautiful, inventive menu paired with delicious wines, on a lovely estate. I highly recommend Mendoza Wine Camp!Written March 7, 2022
- nyebra190 contributionsDiscriminate against handicapped peopleI asked them if I could come, since I am handicapped. They stated "Sorry we don't have any options for handicapped people" I asked "Why?" They stated "We don't have vehicle accommodations" I said I could provide my own transportation They then said "Sorry, we can not do it" Then blocked me on WhatsApp Glad to see discrimination is still alive & well in this backward part of the world :)Written February 28, 2022
- avisit_120 contributionsExclusive tourThis was a well organised independent tour with 2 staff ,one driving & one guide. The day was well planned & the visits showed the variety of wineries in the area. It felt like we had a day our with 2 friends rather than being on a tour. I would highly recommend them.Written April 6, 2020
- benengen0 contributionsUnique and FunWe had a blast doing this wine tour. Fernanda was an excellent guide around the various vineyards that we visited. We've done a ton of wine tastings and tours over the years and they can get a little repetitive but that certainly wasn't the case here. Each place that we stopped had a unique approach or "hook" to keep things interesting while tasting the wine. That coupled with great wine, food, and scenery made for a great day. Well worth the money.Written March 12, 2020
- lesswin000 contributionsAmazing day! What a memorable experience. Top notch from start to finish. The driver and our hostess were excellent. So knowledgeable in her field. The 4 wineries were varied and comprehensive. I couldn't pick a favorite. The parings are amazing. The group was fun, friendly and felt like family. Beautiful surroundings at all of them. The day went by so fast and we were quite satisfied with it all! This company is top notch and worth every peso. Booked online with a cash discount.Written February 6, 2020
- Mark F0 contributionsA great cultural experience and a lot of funReally enjoyed the opportunity to learn Argentinian techniques for Asado, Chimichurri and emplanadas. All were delicious, the Chef hosted us at his house with 'Soli' our friendly guide in support. (great food and wine knowledge and perfect English) The food was generous and of high quality and was slow paced making it fun and relaxing. The food was complimented by a number of local wines that were also very nice. Even though i have been cooking BBQ for 30 years, i learned some little things which i am now applying at home.Written February 5, 2020
