      May 2019
Stayed here on a trip around Kerala in May 2019 and was just looking at booking again which I would have sooner if it wasnt for COVID. Jeethu and Mimi are wonderful and treated me like family even plaiting my hair for me in the morning and arranging a tuk-tuk so I could get my brows threaded and buy a silver anklet from town. The food, the beach and peace and quiet were wonderful and I made good friends on this trip who I can't wait to see again.

      Amazing!!
I wanted to take a moment to share my experience at marari Edens stay.I had asked the host for private beach candle light dinner for my spouse s bday..and the setup was just marvellous ..they had dimlights and candles that made it look even more romantic. The arrangements were just in place as everything went hand in hand. The host took care of everything starting from Champagne to starters till the desserts. The food was delicious and everything was served in time with no space for complaints. I appreciate the dedication and thoughtfulness of Mr.Nidhin in making this bday night unforgettable.

Best place to stay in Alleppey.
The best place to stay In Alleppey, almost private beach. Very less crowd, candle light dinner arrangement is awesome by them. Price is very affordable. Service is superb. I would love to visit Alleppey again just to stay here. Jithu is a superb host and u get to eat delicious food cooked by his mother.

      Absolutely relaxing stay
Clean accomodation whit tasty breakfast (and dinner on order) in calm ambient without tourists. Very friendly family prepares for you chairs and umbrella on the beach. South from the house, ca 10 minutes by walk, there ist a small harbour, where come fishermen every morning.

      Marari Edens Homestay
Marari Edens is an average Homestay.Jithu the owner, is an enthusiastic young boy- very helpful, but the TripAdvisor rating as"5"( excellent) is little bit misleading. There are many places, Jithu has to improve, such as keeping water bottles and glasses inside the room, uninterrupted electric power supply, few more varieties in breakfast menue, some arrangements of evening snakes (ofcourse with charges), keeping arrangements of tea/coffee makings inside the rooms. One should expect these basic things with a charge of rs.2500/- or more per day. Ofcourse Jithu has some manpower problems, but he should think about these.

      Mindblowing marari edens
Found this place through Google. Stayed with family for one night. Mindblowing experience. A small initiative by a young boy. His name is Jithu and can be contacted on mobile number +918943478768. Breakfast was very good. Typical Kerala style puttu and kadala. It was really tasty. The beach is perfectly clean. Feels like private Beach. No crowd and pure white sand. The resort is close to the beach. He arranged for umbrellas and chairs at the Beach. Cannot have better experience for the amount paid. Very good hospitality and he was available for any help. Would love to visit again.

      Beach Paradise
Our first experience of a home-stay and definitely not the last. Delightful property, wonderfully located on the beach within a small fishing community. Rooms are comfortable. The sound of the sea lapping on the shore whilst enjoying a drink on the veranda, Yoga on the beach and numerous home cooked delicious Keralan meals catering for both vegetarian and non-veg tastes. What’s not to like?! Hosting by Jittu and his Mum, Mimi, was excellent and included organising Tuk-Tuk’s and laundry service. We truly hope we have the opportunity to visit again.

RIGHT on the beach, welcoming and peaceful
The family at Marari Edens are very welcoming- they greeted us with fresh pineapple juice while our room was being prepared. With a pretty yard that's set up for beach goers, each room has its own verandah for evening reading, and is impeccably clean. Their home cooked food is faultless (though do specify if you wouldn't like chilli), and rooms are comfortable, even though basic- but this is beach living, right?! Enjoy your time on your own beach, with recliners and umbrella... and walk down for the fish market to the south at 7am- lots of fun.

      Secret Paradise
If you get to stay here you very are fortunate. We relatively randomly booked 1 night in Marari Edens and planned to figure out where to go from there. It was fabulous- so fabulous that we spent 7 of our 9 days in Kerala in Marari Edens!!!!Why do we love this place? It is very neat and clean, food is excellent and home cooked, the family is SO friendly and welcoming and you feel very safe and looked after. You know your belongings and person are safe when you stay here. On top of how wonderful the guest house is, it is secluded on a pristine piece of beach with fishermen around. Truly a paradise. Marari Edens is still close enough to a tourist area that your can walk or take a rickshaw for massage or fresh cocoanuts. I also love that it's close enough to Alpey that doing a day trip to Alpey to spend time boating on the backwaters is very doable while still returning to the quiet and relaxation of Marari Edens. Thank you to this wonderful family for such a delightful stay. They really do put their hearts into creating a lovely experience.

      paradise
Beautiful place, beach and food, lovely and most helpful family. They organized taxis and tuktuks for us, made appointments for ayurvedic massages and planned a wonderful new years eve on the beach. Miss that place.

      Fabulous homestay at Marari Beach
The most welcoming and attentive family, Mini cooks fantastic food and the accommodation is comfortable. There is a balcony with table, chairs & a fan. Set in the heart of a fishing village only a couple of steps from the beach.

      Authentic Indian beach stay.
This is as authentic as it gets! A quiet Kerala fisherman’s village with hosts that are the salt of the earth. You get an almost private beach, lovely beach chairs and umbrella and Mini even served the local drink ‘naringa wellam’ Meaning lemon water whilst I reclined on the beach with my book. Eden is a small homestay and although there’s no frills it’s spotlessly clean! A verandah with a fan and cane chairs with table are outside each room. There’s a separate bamboo hut in which meals are served and the food is true Keralan yum! It’s not a fancy beach resort but a truly lovely experience far from the chaotic bustle of India yet not far from the Chertala railway station and close to the backwaters of Alleppey. Not for everyone but so deliciously enjoyable being safe and cared for by the host family. Take into consideration its best to ask Mimi to cook dinner as it’s scrummy and she needs time to cook.

      Best place in Marari beach
I stayed 2 night with my girlfriend and we had great time: the location is just in front of the beach and in the middle of a village. The food was homemade and awesome, the mother and her son where fantastic. The best in Marari, a place to come back definitely.

My wife and I recently enjoyed an enchanting Private Candlelight Dinner at Marari Edens, and it was simply exquisite. Jeffin, our gracious host, ensured every detail was perfect as we dined on the private beach. The ambiance was pure romance, with flickering candles casting a magical glow. The food was a culinary delight, each dish bursting with flavor. Jeffin's attentive service made the evening truly unforgettable. Highly recommend for a romantic escape.

I'm thrilled to have successfully arranged a surprise candlelight dinner for my parents on their wedding anniversary. Mr. Jeffin, the only person I reached out to, did an outstanding job. The private beach ambiance, meticulous decorations, and delightful cuisine combined to create an exceptionally memorable evening for them.
