One of the highlights of our 7 day cruise! The crew were very friendly and paid close attention to us. The tour itself was amazing! We had a lot of fun and got to see a lot of the jungle. The beach was nice and inviting, there are food options from local vendors and people selling local handcrafted jewelry. We spent about 30 minutes at the beach. Made it back in plenty time to do shopping back at the port with no fear of missing our ship. Would definitely do this again!

This is a 5-star review because the experience was wonderful and I would recommend it and do it again. I do have a few suggestions that I think would enhance the experience. The biggest thing was mentioning there could be jellyfish while snorkeling and that they are not the stinging type. We were horrified and got out of the water quickly because there were jellyfish all around. Then we saw someone holding one and they told us they were harmless. That would have saved a near heart attack on our part :) It wasn't very clear that we would be spending about 8 hours of the day on a bus. There were a few stops to get snacks and refreshments but it was quite a long day when we were expecting it to be shorter. There is an option to choose your language. We chose English and there was some super great information shared with us on the bus in English but that was it. In our detour to the mangroves, there was a whole monolog that we couldn't understand and I was bummed because I was interested in that portion of the tour. It was also kind of hectic feeling the whole time. When we got to the island there was no explanation of how things would go so there was a lot of standing around in confusion and I wished there had been some sort of time-line explained to us. Example: first we will unload and please take all your items with you. Then you can grab snorkel gear and swim around. After that we will have some fruit and drinks available and we will be leaving the island at this time. Overall, it was a great experience without all those things so take it or leave it. Thanks!

Great views and and the view underwater was amazing. The on board entertainment was fun especially the Michael Jackson show.

Amazing place. Peter our tour guide was so great. The family had a bunch of fun. The hike was a bit tiring but so worth it to experience such a beautiful nature made sight. Peter was so great and patient.

10/10 experience! My boyfriend and I had an amazing time during this cruise. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming. I do not know how to swim but still felt very safe going into the water with the safety equipment that was provided. We both agreed we would take part in this again! Thank you guys for such a fun experience!

We had such a wonderful time on this tour! Snorkeling was wonderful and you see a lot of fish. I wish they were more eco friendly and didn’t feed the fish bread or pick up the sea eurchins :( The tour guides were amazing and made us laugh. The scenery beautiful!

Half of the trip is snorkeling and half is a party boat sail. Something for everyone in our group. Crew was excellent.

We had a great time with this excursion! We got extraordinarily muddy but that just added to the fun (and we were fully prepared for it - bring a bandana and eye coverage)! We stopped at a beautiful, quite, tucked away beach halfway through the ride and had a chance to hop in the ocean to rinse the mud off and buy a drink/food. The organizers were also super communicative and made sure to stay in touch in the event we had any changes in plans days leading up to the excursion sate. The tour leaders were so so kind, and when one of the axels broke on our buggy, they were smooth and swift to get us a new buggy in a way that didn't affect the duration of our trip. Not to mention, having pick up and drop off from Amber Cove made everything super easy and convenient. Would absolutely recommend!

GREAT time!! could have spent the whole day at the stop! NOTE: We didn't see any lockers, so bags got soaked! Stop beautiful!!

It was a great time from the time you left land until you got back. Tony was an amazing host. He made sure we had plenty to eat and drink. We stayed at a VRBO and they picked us up at the gate. The only complaint we really had was we got to the meeting spot 15-20 minutes before the other group that was going with us. We were rushed through trying life jackets on…mine did not fit right. Then we were taken down into this little alley of shops and told to wait. Another girl was already there. Her ride had been a motorcycle. She was very nervous that she was picked up on a motorcycle and then left in this alley of shops. Basically everyone that had a shop there came up and took us into their shops to look around. When the big group we had been waiting on got there, they did life jackets and went straight to the boat. They didn’t have to deal with the shops. I’m afraid if we hadn’t seen them get there that we would have been left. No one came down to get us. Overall, I would recommend going. Just beware that you may get sat down where there are a bunch of shops.

Well worth the money! Less than 1/2 the price of the cruise excursion! We got VERY muddy, but we were prepared for that. It's a combination of cow manure, run off and rain so if you are timid about this, this is not for you. The beach stop allowed us to rinse off halfway through and we had a delicious handmade pina colada in a pineapple - $10 worth every penny! We snapped an axel towards the end and the team there didn't seem to sweat it. They put us on our own 4 wheeler to head back! Great time - bring goggles and face mask! This was the highlight of an otherwise crappy cruise provided by NCL. Only didn't rate excellent as our instructions could have been a little clearer. I was familiar with driving something like this so it wasn't a big deal for me. Also a little tough finding them at port as they went by a different name.

Super good vibes and lots of excitement. The crew was great and very knowledgeable. Borderline attractive the way they commanded that sail! The entire experience was so well planned and organized and the staff was incredibly friendly and super fun. They kept us feeling safe in a little rain storm and made sure everyone saw beautiful fish and felt comfortable. Was very impressed and loved the dancing 😉

My family and I (11 of us) had a fantastic time on this snorkeling and lunch excursion! Huge shout out to Papo, Alain, Abel, Sonia, Lotta (great communication!) and several others for helping us have a wonderful day on the water celebrating Nan’s 74th birthday, one we’ll all be talking about for many years to come!! We’ve been on quite a few catamaran/snorkeling excursions over the years, but the care, kindness, safety consciousness and fun-liveliness of this crew was top notch!
