What an incredible experience! Can't have enough good words for Uprise Africa! The all team did everything so we reach the summit successfully. Everyone so friendly and helpful. Guides were on the top with the knowledge and care. We had the best time of our lives. After the climb we did coffe and waterfall tour and safari. All tours were organized well. Very happy with the experience that Uprise Africa gave to us. Hakuna Matata.

We (2 girls age 24) climbed the Kilimanjaro with the help of Uprise Africa Explorer. The company prepared everything very well, had good equipment and a lot of knowledge about safety/health. Our guides made during the walk good decisions and helped us to reach the peak happy and healthy! Would 100% recommend! The price was good for the quality tour they organize.

We (2 people in our twenties from the Netherlands) just finished our Kilimanjaro climb 2 days ago with Uprise African Explorer and it was such an amazing experience. I got in contact with Micheal Gudluck via friends and contacting him from home went very smoothly. We could customize the climb to our wishes within a reasonable price. They are very keen on checking if you have the right gear, and if not provide options to rent these for fair prices. We did the Lemosho route with the guides Sanga and Mota, both very experienced and chatty guys. They help you get through the challenging parts, but also explain a lot about the changing surroundings. Big shout out to all the porters as well and to our amazing cook Emmanuel (who kept in mind our diet wishes and physical wellbeing) and Herman (who helped us with everything and taught us Swahili). The climb is really worth it and Uprise made sure to give us the full experience.

Last week I had an amazing experience climbing Mount Kilimanjaro (Machame route) with Uprise Africa Explorer. Uprise Africa Expl was recommended to me by friends because of their good experiences. From the Netherlands the contact with Gudluck went very smoothly and a customized program could be arranged for a reasonable price. Tour guides Kissima and Sanga were great. Also the equipment in terms of tents, mats, sleeping bags and varied food on the mountain was fine. In addition, they were very flexible with the program and due to delay and late arrival I was able to start the trek a day later without any problems. In short, if you want to climb Kili, Uprise is a good choice.

My husband and I summited Kilimanjaro's peak on 16 Feb 2023 with Uprise Africa. Thanks to the terrific team of guides, cook and porters the experience was fantastic of every aspect, well organized, safe and with very positive mood all along the way! We especially appreciated the experience of our 2 guides Kissima and Sanga, their friendliness, their good mood and humor, their flexibility to adjust the program according to our needs and abilities (as we are both experienced mountaineers), the daily health check-ups and the knowledge they shared with us about the mountain its geology, the flora and fauna. In this way not only we made it to the summit easy and cool but we also learned a lot about Kilimanjaro and the whole experience was very interesting. Food was always delicious and abundant (more than we could eat) and adapted with care to my special eating needs by our wonderful cook Remmy who made magic 3 times per day in his little cooking tent. Our heroic porters made sure everything was in place when we arrived at each camp (tents, cooking and toilet tent) and gave us plenty of smiles and wonderful moments of motivational singing and dancing before and after our daily effort :)) Climbing Uhuru Peak via Lemosho Route with the Uprise team was pure fun and one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. Highly recommended We continued with climbing Oldonyo Lengai and with a 6-day safari organized and tailor made for us by Uprise Africa. Again the experience was very positive; our safari driver-guide was knowledgeable, motivated, helpful, tireless and one of the kindest people ever! Asante sana Uprise Africa !

That was an amazing advantage with Uprise Africa Tours on the 7 day Lemosho Route.I summited Kili on February 8, 2023 as a solo 67 year old female. Everything from planning/booking , to answering my many questions to transfer from Kili airport to dropping off at airport was excellent. Just finished our Kilimanjaro expedition 20-27 Jan Was a wonderful experience with uprise Africa. We all made it to the summit under the guidance of sanga and mota. The food was fantastic. The equipment like tents toilets etc were up to the mark and clean. Staff was prompt and took great care of us. We felt safe and comfortable. The dining and dancing lifted our spirits every day. I highly recommend to book your Kilimanjaro hiking directly with Uprise Africa Explorer. We were a group of 3 women and Uprise Africa took good care of us. I strongly recommend to rent the summit gear from them including the sleeping bag, they know exactly what you need to protect yourself against he cold weather. Sanga, Mota, Iddie, Abdullah, Remi and the rest of the crew went out of their way to make us feel confortable and safe. Thank you Uprise Africa for such an amazing hiking experience. Our hearts are full with the Tanzanian people generosity and kindness. Thank God it didn't rain on us. Kilimanjaro is only possible with the support from the guides and porters. The food was very good, the tent was very good and thank god we rented the toilet.

Friends of ours recommended Uprise Africa Explorer to climb the Kilimanjaro and we couldn’t be more satisfied!!! First of all, the company owner Goodluck Michael picked us (3 girls) up ourselves from the airport. He had already arranged everything for us: the hotel, the food for the day, the trip to the store where could rent the equipment we missed, … We were very impressed by this and also his kindness and answer to our every question. Key words: hakuna matata. The trip itself was more than wonderful. The porters, the cook and guides Nguma and Sanga were absolutely great. The motto of the company is really true: enter as strangers, leave as friends. The food was really great (honestly, sometimes even better than eating in a restaurant down the mountain!), they always provided us with water and they supplied us twice every day with warm water to wash. Also, the energy of the group altogether was really good: we sung and danced together. We felt really like a family. We spent New Year on the mountain and therefore, Goodluck Michael had arranged to bring on New Years an amazing cake and (non-alcoholic) grape juice up to the camp. It was an amazing surprise. Coming back, everything was as neatly arranged as before: George Michael met with us at the place where we celebrated with Kilimanjaro beers and some great food. Honestly, everyone really went out of their ways to make it a trip to remember forever. For instance, Sanga and Goodluck brought me to the bus station for my next destination. I am really thankful for all the amazing memories and kindness I have met within this company. I would recommend 11/10!!!

We climbed Kilimanjaro over Christmas and New years and it was one of the best experiences I ever had! Together with 2 friends we had 2 amazing guides: Nguma & Sanga, who took care of everything and stood by our side through every step of the way (literally). We had such fun times with them! Emmanuel, our cook, made the greatest foods every day which helped us with our energy and because of his good food we experienced no muscle pains at all! The amazing porters carried all our stuff and the tents were always ready when we came to the camp. They really took care of everything. Also Goodluck, the owner of the company, picked us up at the airport and arranged all our clothes with us (we didn’t bring a lot…) and we haven’t been cold for one second (even no need for us to wear the down jacket and thick gloves to the top) To top it all they have a great team spirit with each other, with singing and dancing (almost) every morning. It was lovely and I would recommed this company absolutely!

We had an amazing week on the Kilimanjaro thanks to Uprise Africa! Everything was organized very well from begin to the end for a good price. The whole team of guides, porters and cook did an amazing job and were very friendly. Special thanks to Sanga and Nguma for being the best guides we could’ve wished for. Two times a day we had a medical checkup for any height sickness symptoms which not all companies do, so that’s also a big plus! Uprise arranged all good quality equipment and very nice food. On New Years day they even arranged a cake and (alcoholfree) champagne! We would definitely recommend Uprise for the best Kili experience!

I really enjoyed climbing the Kilimanjaro with uprise Africa! The people working with them (guides, porters, cook) were al very kind and skilled, offering good service, food and advise on what to do when we got symptoms at high altitude. communication was easy with Michael and he offered a good price for the whole experience.

During the trip, we used the program of climbing Kilimanjaro on the Machame rute - 6 days and a two-days safari (Lake Manyara Nationa Park and Ngorongoro National Park. Everythink was perfectly organized. Very good guides. Big adventures !!! I'll be back there sometime.
