Our Guide Salum was amazing! He’s such a lovely guy and so helpful, everything ran somethly. We went to great restaurants and found all the best water activities around Zanzibar and Mafia. Without Salum we wouldn’t have had anywhere near as great an experience in Tanzania

Excellent tour director and we saw lovely places. Some of the hotels weren’t the best but adequate. Our guide Elizabeth and our driver Simon were fantastic. The timetable was well planned out.

I recently enjoyed an incredible 5-day safari in Tanzania with Jonathan from Pinnacle and it was truly exceptional! My wife and I had a fantastic 8-day private safari in Tanzania with Pinnacle Tanzania in July 2024. We worked with N Gloria in their office to plan a custom safari that included Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Central Serengeti National Park and the Northern Serengeti. She was helpful, patient and very responsive. Our guide on the safari was Mzee Chuwaa, and he was fantastic. He seemed always to know the best routes and the best places to see wildlife, and did his best to accommodate our interests. He was a veritable font of knowledge about wildlife, trees and plants. We saw everything we hoped for and much more -- the so-called big five, the great migration, and wildebeest river crossings, plus large numbers of giraffes, gazelle, zebras and many other animals, and uncountable numbers and species of birds. The tour vehicle was in great condition and comfortable. Pinnacle provided delicious hot lunches daily. The accommodations (hotels on the first and last night, and tented camps the other nights) were delightful. On a whim, we let them know the trip was a celebration of our 20th anniversary. To our surprise, they honored us nearly every night. The entire Pinnacle team led by Frazier provided a well-coordinated and wonderful safari that exceeded our (admittedly high) expectations, at a competitive price.

This team guided us through difficult terrains, helped us with the gears, provided assistance with our bags when we needed it most, fed us delious food, checked our heath twice a day to ensure we were trekking safely and most of all anticipated our needs before we had to ask. Their knowledge of the terrain and ability to translate that knowledge to those new to the mountain was critical to our success. Mariam and her team of porters, support staff and chef went above and beyond to make sure we successfully scaled Kilimanjaro. They provided assistance and encouragement throughout the entire journey. We had a fabulous holiday with the help of Gloria and Pinnacle team. Right from the start they were superb and answered any queries I had plus provided uses information and advise. Very impressed. On the actual trip everything went extremely smoothly and was always ontime. Frazier and Jonas our guides, were brilliant. Probably the best guides We've ever had. Key to our success was Frezier’s flexibility and ability to transform our wishlist into a perfect itinerary. Everything was prepared ahead of time and waiting for us, and we got to see big 5, and all the animals up close in Tarangire. Ngorongoro has hippos and rhinos which are more reclusive and keep their distance; probably a good thing as they are aggressive and territorial. Food was tasty, accommodations were a tent in Tarangire and luxurious villa in Mochi on the slopes of Kilimanjaro. My family made lifetime memories and Pinnacle were courteous, professional, and offered us things beyond our original booking and wishlist that surprised and delighted us.

We spent a couple of days with Emmanuel, Frazier and Cathrin and the whole experience was absolutely amazing! Somehow Emmanuel was able to spot lions from hundred meters away with his incredible eyesight, without whom we would definitely have missed a ton of animals. Apparently he truly loves animals, and he is super knowledgeable about them. It might have been a normal leisure trip chasing the back of animals but Emmanuel has made it a scientific tour for me somehow. He fulfilled all our viewing dreams (seeing a lion please, seeing a male lion please, seeing a cheetah please, seeing a cheetah on the tree please, etc). I think this was my once in a lifetime travel experience so far.

I cannot say enough about how amazing Frazier and his team were in guiding us to the top of Kilimanjaro. By the end of the journey we felt bonded to everyone. The team did everything to make sure we were safe, comfortable and well fed! Most of all they embodied Hakuna Matata, a positive attitude!

I was looking for a 1 day tour and came across this. Customer service was amazing. From the time I booked the tour to going on the tour. Although it rained during the time I went, the guys made it work! I hiked the Marangu route with one of the guys and it was beautiful passing through the waterfalls, flowers, etc. I was given the history as we were walking passed certain points. When we got to the end, we had lunch to enjoy. Good comfort food. The guys are awesome and made everything so fun! A very nice and humble group. They made sure I was good the whole time which was very appreciated. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic trip with Pinnacle. As someone who planned their trip fairly last minute, Frazier helped me to get everything in order - transportation, lodging, all other logistics, etc. From the first pickup at the airport, everything ran smoothly. My climb itself was a fantastic experience. My guide, Emmanuel, was knowledgeable, friendly, and safe. The team of porters was remarkable - kind, efficient, and invaluable in ensuring the success of the trip. I would also add that the food, prepared by Ziggy, was incredible. I had never imagined I would eat so well on a hiking trip. The team tailored the trip to my desired speed, knocking out the trip in 4 days, which was great. Frazier helped me arrange a short safari on the back end as well - once again, I was happy to leave the planning in his hands. Can’t say enough good things about my experience.

Pinnacle were absolutely brilliant!!! Frazier made sure we were able to plan our trip to the last second. We were very very well looked after and we had the most incredible experience both in zanzibar and for the safari. A very special thank you to Salum, Mohammed, Abdullah and Ruth. They each made our experience absolutely incredible. Jaqueline was also as sweet as ever! I can't thank pinnacle enough for being so attentive and reliable in every way possible. Frazier responded to every message we sent and very quickly. I think the only bump we had was when we were stopped by traffic enforcement and our driver at the time took almost 2 hours arguing with them about a ticket- this could have been done in his own time and as it was very hot, waiting in the car was slightly uncomfortable. Other than that, they were extremely reliable, great price and provided even better company. We saw every animal we wanted to see and did every activity that was available in zanzibar thanks to these guys. Another special thank you to Salum and Mohammed in particular who felt like family at the end of the trip. They were honest, reliable and could really answer any question we had.
