          Best of the best!
Baracka is the best! We used him for our tour to the waterfalls on Kilimanjaro and Hotsprings. He was absolutely incredible - he helped up when the hike became challenging (due to the mud and how slippery it was). Baracka provided a safe space for us to feel comfortable and accommodated everything we needed. Baracka was not only our tour guide, but he is now our friend - for life. Thank you Baracka!! ❤️

Hot springs, Materuni Waterfall, and Coffee Tour!
We spent two fantastic days with Baraka! He took us on a day trip to the hot spring at Chemka on the first day. The second day we went to the awesome Materuni waterfall, and also had an extremely entertaining and informative coffee-making tour! Baraka was extremely attentive, knowledgeable and fun!! We had a tremendous time and highly recommend Baraka for anyone looking for a local guide.

          Kilimanjaro
I traveled to Tanzania and stayed there for almost two weeks. Most of the time I spent in Moshi. At the Mountain Bike House (hostel I stayed). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hostel itself looked amazing. And there I met my guide named Baraka, he was very chill and cool guy , who took me to places nearby Moshi (the Materuni waterfalls). He knows much about the city of Moshi and the surrounding areas. Baraka also does bike safaris in Kilimanjaro. Defenatley when I come back to Tanzania in the future, I will do some tours more with him as a guide.

Tour of Kilimanjaro by bicycle - 3 days
I did the tour of Kilimanjaro in 3 days with bakara, it was an amazing experience. After the Climb of the mountain, I was searching for a good 3 days activity less expensive than a safari and what Bakara offered was just perfect ! A sporty, challenging adventure of circling the highest mountain in Africa by bicycle. The road is great, not too many cars or trucks, although pretty hilly (you can do it in 3 days only if you’re a good cyclist). The 40km portion of unpaved road on day 2 was in the end clearly okay. And the highlight was of course on day 3 when we saw dozens of giraffes just on the side of the road as well as herds of zebras crossing the road a couple of meters in front of us. Bakara is a great guide, very friendly, and with good plans (for accommodation during the tour according to anyone budget, etc). The bikes he rents are decent for African standards and he’s good at mechanics so no worries about any problem of this kind. I thus strongly recommend doing a tour of the Kilimanjaro by bicycle with bakara, as it is a very original and rewarding way of traveling in northern Tanzania, you won’t see many tourists on your way but you will see for sure great landscapes, beautiful views on the mountain if not too cloudy and, if you’re lucky as I was, plenty of savanna animals!

          Perfect!
Unfortunately, we could only spend one day in Moshi so we couldn't visit much. Our experience with Baraka was only about transportation/short trips around the area but I would recommend him 100%. Friendly, knowledgeable, reliable, and very helpful!!

Beautiful Mountain Bike Tours with an experienced biker
I did several tours with Baraka and I would recommend all of them: For example we went to Hot Springs by bike and had some lunch there, then another day we did a bike tour on the hills around Moshi. Baraka is an experienced mountain biker and can fix any punch very quickly. You will enjoy riding with him as a guide.

          Moshi from a street-level perspective
Baraka took us on a biking trip through Moshi to visit the Rau Forest reserve, past the old railway, the rice paddies, the sugercane plantations. As we rode we discussed local culture and developments and Baraka proved to be a very knowledgable and kind companion for the journey. We visited friends, had a mind-blowing (and hangover curing) rejuvenating organic fruit juice, a local lunch with some fries and veggies, and learned about Baraka's plans to adres plastic pollution in the area. A great day in Moshi!

          A great day!
I was so lucky to meet Baraka in the mountain bikes house. We went cycling to the Rau forest and afterwards he showed me the surroundings of moshi en told me about local life. We also visited an orphanage and a local hospital. Spending my day with Baraka really felt like hanging out with a friend! Good cycling, beautiful forests and ricefarms, getting to know the local life and above all good laughs and great conversations. I would highly recommend Baraka as a guide to anyone:)

Three day cycling trip around Kilimanjaro
We had the honor to cycle around the Kilimanjaro with the best cyclist or the Moshi region - Barakka. We met each other at the Mountainbike House in Moshi. Barakka told us that he just won the K to N multi-stage mountain bike race. We are traveling around Tanzania by bike and we decided to do the 3-day trip around the Kilimanjaro together with Barakka. He showed us the best route, the nicest places to stay and negotiated the best possible prices for the campings/lodges. The tour itself was more than fantastic. The first day from Moshi to Tarakea is mainly uphill. Barakka took us to a local school where we had the honor to have a tour. For lunch we stopped close to the Marangu gate. This trip is only recommended in three days if you are a very strong cyclists. Otherwise barakka can discuss with you what would be the ideal amount of days. It is also possible to have a car join you, so you do not have to carry your own luggage and skip the steeper parts of the route. The roads are very good, only on the second day there is a 40km gravel part, through the area where the Maasai live. When you are lucky you can also see elephants, zebras, monkeys etc. It is just a great pleasure to have Barakka around. He is super friendly, humble and knows the area very well. Highly recommend to do any tour with him! For a full review including videos you can check our blog https://www.tritotravel.com/travel/cycling-around-mount-kilimanjaro/ Thank you Barakka, we will be back!!

Cycling safari is a once in a lifetime experience!
My boyfriend and I did a one day cycling safari in Sinya mines wildlife management area with Baraka and a local ranger. It was a very unique experience. We were there from dawn to dusk. We saw lots and lots of wild animals! Giraffes, zebras, elephants, wilder beast, monkeys, impalas, gazelles, dick dick, wild dog, guinea fowls, etc. Being on the bikes meant we could get quite close to them and it felt much more natural than being in a car. We felt very safe with the ranger who was carrying a gun on his bike. We ended the day on the top of a hill with a beautiful sunset on both Kilimanjaro on one side and Mount Meru on the other side. It was very good value for money and we would recommend Baraka as a guide.
