Excellent experience, Very professional team of Kilimanjaro hiking
First of all, I must to say the team is very professional (Guides, chef, waiter, and porters). I took 5 days Marangu hike and submitted Uhuru Peak successfully. Everything was well arranged and felt great. Our guides Jackson and Valency are very professional. They care about my health conditions and checked Oxygen saturation/heart rate/feeling every day to insure my safety. Every equipment which they have recommended me to carry were very useful. They did their best to help me to submit Uhuru and avoid mountain sickness. Told me what kind of speed should hike, which equipment should use at different situation, and how much foo/water should have on the mountain. I had great time and also learn a lots from our guides. The service was very good. Our waiter not only deliver food/water to us but also tried his best to help us feel comfortable in huts. The food was delicious for being on a "5895m" mountain. Of course, coffee, tea, and fruits every day :) Also, the prices is affordable, especially since I'm just a backpacker. Thanks a for RajaTour and every team member. Without you, I can’t stand on the top of the roof of Africa. Highly recommend!!!

Extremely professional and great value for money
Drop down menu error: our safari was actually 4 days in Serengeti and Ngorongoro Gettin the variety of camps and lodges, to the multitude of animals seen, very very worthwhile trip. Gettin the point of arriving at the airport until we were dropped back at the airport. Great value for money and our driver and guide, Alen, was always on top of everything. He also was so good at spotting animals at an incredible distance. We stopped for lunch everyday somewhere en route and those lunches were the best meal. I can't speak for other operators but Rajatiurs definitely delivered

      The best Safari trip
Our safari was very well organized and we could watch the Migration, big five (I’ve lost count of lions, there were so many of them!) and lots of other animals&birds. I’ve seen all I dreamed of and many more! Alen, our guide is the best at spotting animals and a great driver too. Highly recommend

      Best guide possible
Our tour guide, Nora was outstanding! She was attentive to our physical needs, great at spotting wildlife, very knowledgeable about the birds of eastern Africa. She promoted sustainable tourism, respect for the animals and environment. We learned that there are only 10 female guides in Tanzania, out of more than 2000. Nora and the other women guides are working to empower women to become professional guides. She is a free lance guide so you can request her even if you go with another company Raja Tours was flexible in designing the trip we wanted and then in changing it when our health required a hospital visit and adding a day off to test.

Best experience with very good guides and a lot of great memories!
We had the pleasure to have a Safari with Raja, starting and ending in Nairobi, following several national parks in Kenya and Tanzania. Both of our guides (Jeff & Alan) were very kind and patient with a lot of specific knowledge and very safe driving skills. All the lodges we visited were on a very high standard and we enjoyed any of the stays. The mixture of lodges and tented camps was perfect any we do not have any complaints about this. To our Safari-experience, we were extremely lucky to see all the big five within the days in a very rare condition, for example some cubs or hunting lions - just breathtaking! Thanks to the big experience and knowledge of the two guides, we had some very special encounters. Specially to talk about Lake Ndutu, which is not on every list for Safaris but very worth to make a stop between Serengeti and Ngorongoro NP. Last but not least as well big thanks to Rajab from RajaTours, very easy to organize the safari, very good price for an unforgetable trip in Kenya and Tanzania. Thanks a lot!

      Highly recommended tour
We went on a 5-day safari in Ngorongoro, Serengeti, and Masai Mara. The part in Tanzania with our guide Alen was incredible. We enjoyed excellent accommodation and food. Alen knew all the best spots in the national parks. We ran into a small issue in Masai Mara, but Rajatour quickly fixed it. Overall, we highly recommend this tour. We had a great time for Safari here!

      Safari in Nyerere Nationalpark
We had a wonderful safari trip with our guide Ludovico, who told us a lot about wildlife in the park and gave anything to show us most possible animals. We were lucky to see a lot of them. Highlights? We were very close to an elephant family, and we were impressed about the vultures attacking the killed giraffe.... Only the lion was hiding- he was probaly somewhere digesting the giraffe meat from the previous day ;)

      Amazing safari with RajaTours
Rajab was amazing from the start. He was super responsive and flexible when discussing and organizing the tour. When travelling there, we had an issue with Kenyan visa and Rajab was super helpful and amended the itinerary in the last moment. Once we arrived, everything was planned perfectly. Alen - the most knowledgeable and cool guide in Tanzania picked us up and we began the most amazing 5 days in Tanzania. Alen was driving us to remote areas of the parks, enabling us to observe and admire the animals from up close and away from the numerous tourists. The most amazing experience was being caught up in the way of 40+ elephants, walking 1m away from our jeep. Alen also ensured we had the best lunches of all the safari agencies, always finding the perfect spots and preparing the food as in a restaurant :) The accommodation was also really well chosen - we tried everything from less to more luxorious tents, to more fancy lodges. We really really recommend RajaTours, especially if combining Tanzania with Kenya. The transition of the driver and vehicle was smooth, and also Daniel - our guide in Kenya - was super nice. Very knowledgeable, communicative and explained everything thoroughly. All in all, RajaTours is definitely the agency you should choose if looking for an authentic and genuine experience in Tanzania and/or Kenya. You will have an experience of a life time!

Book this tour and do it with Rajabu + Fredy!!
Pro tip: fly into Nairobi, do Maasai Mara > Serengeti > Ngorongoro > Tarangire, and request Fredy. Unforgettable experience. Rajabu was wonderful to work with from day 1. He was so accommodating to all of my requests and set us up with the best lodging for our 6 day safari. Our transfer from Kenya to Tanzania was flawless with a really seamless handoff between drivers. The most memorable part of the trip was getting to see the Big 5 in rare form: a leopard eating its prey in a tree, 2 rhinos mating, a lion eating fresh kill, baby elephants, and a never ending herd of buffalo. All of this was possible with the guidance of Fredy who is the king of Safari. He can spot anything from a million miles away and always has the right sense for where something might be. Not only that, but he is just a wonderful person and my partner and I had such a great time bonding with him throughout the week. He even surprised us with an arranged cake at one of our lodges for my partners birthday. Fredy is so passionate about the animals and it excited us to see how excited he got, as well. We could not have asked for a better guide or partner in crime to explore these parks with. Thank you Rajabu and Fredy for a truly magical week. I’m still glowing!!

      Safari
Freddy was our guide/driver and he was the absolute best. We saw the big 5, including two rhinos mating. We also saw an albino giraffe. He is super friendly, calm, and caring. He arranged for a surprise birthday celebration for me at one of our lodges. Overall 10/10 experience and would recommend to anyone.

      Trip of a lifetime
This trip was meant as a special week for my son and I after a difficult year. Rajabu was professional and prompt with all comms and helped us organise a wonderful safari that took into account all of our interests and considered the travel needs of a mother and child. When we struggled with visa issues, the team was helpful to sort this. We arrived to see the smiling face of Geoff, who provided us insights to the local culture, the parks and answered all of our questions about the animals. He was a fantastic guide who helped us feel welcome in Kenya. When we moved over to Tanzania, Alan was just as incredible, discussing all the local cultural tidbits you could never get from a book. He helped us see the parks as animal reserves and my son felt encouraged to learn more about how to do more to help local people. He was also a keen photographer and gave us loads of help to capture some memorable photos! We were able to go on a tour of a local village, learning about beer making, woodcraft and cycling through neighbourhoods - something we never thought to do while on a safari! From start to finish, we had a wonderful time and have taken our notes of this trip and shared with several friends who now hope to see Kenya and Tanzania in 2024. Thank you to the entire team! We look forward to seeing you on a future tour through East Africa, sometime soon.

Raja Tours will make your trip memorable and easy!
My friend and I planned a somewhat last minute trip to Africa. We weren't sure if our flight would make it on time for our tour but it didn't matter. I was able to keep in communication with them and said they could be flexible depending on what happened with our flights. We did make it there as expected and Alan was ready for us! He did an excellent job when we were with him in Tanzania. He made sure we were always ok, that he made sure we were able to see the Big 5 and really made our time there an amazing experience. We had a variety of overnight stays which were all great and the staff at each place was incredibly welcoming and friendly. I would definitely use Raja Tours again and will recommend them to friends in the future.

6 day safari in Kenya and Tanzania and Kilimanjaro day hike
After much research, we decided to go with Rajatours for the combined 6 day Kenya and Tanzania safari as it was really competitively priced. The tour was well organised, all accommodation was superb and all meals provided were very good. Our favourite place to stay was the Osero tented camp in Serengeti and best experience was the sunrise balloon safari over Maasai Mara. Our guide in Kenya was Tom and he was so enthusiastic and knowledgable and an exceptional driver especially when we found ourselves caught in a heavy thunderstorm! However, our guide on the Tanzania side let things down as he did not seem interested and only ever gave us one word answers to our questions. I'm not sure he fully understood us at times and would text on his phone instead of talking to us at mealtimes as well. It was a bit like having a moody teenager on honeymoon with us- not ideal! We also booked the day hike on Kilimanjaro and our tour guide Jackson was brilliant. Raja also kindly organised for the driver to take us to the airport that evening as we were flying to Zanzibar. Overall, a brilliant experience and I would definitely recommend. However I would have preferred more communication about what time and where to meet the guides in advance as I was a bit unsure what the plan was and had to chase this up within 24 hours of the tours starting.

10 Day Kenya and Tanzania Safari
We had a great tour with Raja Tours. Our trip was a 10 day tour in Kenya and Tanzania, and we went to many of the typical major sites. Our drivers were all highly professional, kind and accommodating, and very knowledgeable of the wildlife, plant life, and ecosystems of all of the parks we went to, and did a great job of going the extra mile to take us to the major sightings of the day on our game drives (including a number of lucky solo sightings of different animals). The lodges we stayed at were also all very nice and clean and had good food. I also thought that the rate Raja Tours offered was more reasonable than many of the other quotes I got. The two major sites I recommend, much as I loved everything we did, were the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater. Favorite hotel was probably Eileen's Trees, a gorgeous gem of a hotel with amazing gardens in Tanzania.
