We recently completed a 7-day trip with Mboni Adventures after intense research and had an amazing time with the team led by Musa, who was extremely professional, charismatic, and effective in running and managing the team. We chose Lemosho Route after Mboni carefully walked us through all the routes, we came to a conclusion that this would compliment our overall experience. Frank and Johnson the junior guides were super friendly, dependable, and knowledgeable about the trail and hike. The chef was so good he even made Chinese food for us while on the mountains. The waiter and the whole crew had the best smile and service (world class) . We had the cutest tea breaks in the mountains. For the summit night, the whole team worked hard to ensure we summit successfully. They were cheering and singing for us every step of the way. The whole crew was truly amazing. I can’t say enough great things about them. Mboni Adventures you are wonderful!! Can't recommend Mboni Adventures/Jackson enough if you are looking to hike Kilimanjaro.

My partner and I went for a 6 days machame route for kilimanjaro trekking with mboni from sep1-6. The main reason of choosing mboni is that the owner Jackson always respond very timely and flexible to accommodate our schedule and personal interest. The team is great, very helpful and joyful like family to us. The guide Atibu and Amos all very knowledgeable and helpful. They led the whole crew to provide us seamless services in the mountains. We really enjoyed the trip and would like to recommend it to our friends.

We (3 people) have been very pleased with Mboni Adventures & Safari overall. Jackson (the owner) has been great and fast to communicate with on whatsapp before and during our time in Tanzania. Kilimanjaro: Especially our Kilimanjaro climb through the Lemosho-route was an outstanding experience! Amos and Emmy (our two guides) were absolutely lovely and made the trip even better with their humor and their mental surplus all the way to the top. The same is true for the rest of our crew (chef, waiter & porters). Fantastic ❤️ Safari: We also went on a 3-day safari trip to Tarangire, Manyara and NgoroNgoro. We had a fine time and saw a lot of different mammals and birds (including 4/5 of The Big Five and a Caracal). 🦁

We 12 people seceesully summitted kilimanjuro on July 30 with Mboni team, the guider are professional and reliable , with their help, we are easily summit this mountain. After Climbing the mountain. we also did 7 days Safari, have a great time, and have a great experience in Aferica, Thanks for Mboni and leader Jackson ！

We just finished climbing the peak via Lemosho route! All 12 of us made to the top! We had a team of amazing guides, every single guide is excellent , especially the leader Artiibu! His abundant experiences, his thoughtfulness, his positive attitude led us to success ! I also want to express my appreciation to Jackson, he is kind and patient. We 14 people just finished our 7day safari with Jackson’s team, great experience. Very good communication through what’s up and WeChat before the trip, very well taken cared during the trip, everyday get gluten free food prepared for me especially. The driver / guide is very experienced amazingly to spot animals. We have see everything but 🦏, leave it to next safari

We took the marangu roure with Mboni. Jackson and his crew accompanied us for the moment we landed in the airport until we left the country. The killimijaro tour was perfect, we had a team of eigth people with us, includind 2 guides, chef and porters. The guides were very professional and supportive, everyhting was ready on time, and during all the tour we were surounded by this wonderful team, or as my son said, you don't need to do anything except walking. We did it on 6 dsys, because we took Satureday to rest on horombo, and also adjusted to the height. The night of the summit was a challange, but with the support and the incouragement of the team it was possible and doable. At the bottom line it was a great experience, highly recommended. For me it was a dream that came true and a great excitement. I did it with my eldest son, and it was also dpecial quality time for both of us.

route climbing of Kilimanjaro and 5 days safaris. Everything is well-organized by Mboni and the whole trip is more than expected. Jackson responded quickly and managed well when we asked to change a little bit about the schedule due to our own reason during the trip. About the mountainclimbing, the crew are really thoughtful for everything and all people are friendly and very helpful. they did their job wholeheartedly and take really good care of us. Our guide Frank and Amos are very humorous and they were encouraging us all the time. And so do other team members when we encountered while hiking. The whole team made the successful summit happen. About the safaris, our guide Said knows everything about all kinds of animals appeared or not appeared. He has really sharp eyes. Sometimes even though he pointed us where the animal was, we still searched for a while to spot it. It was so lucky for us to see 9 kind of antelopes and almost all kinds of large animals in Tanzania and a lot of birds too. We also witnessed a hunting by the lions. The things we saw and met these days were totally different from we did before. Really amazing journey!

Myself and my companion were looked after from start to finish, the team prioritised our welfare throughout and were so kind and friendly. We felt safe and had an incredible experience, all thanks to the team at Mboni. When compared to other companies we met along the hike, Mboni was stand out in terms of quality and services provided...Incoming longer breakdown: THE ORGANISATION It was really easy to organise the trip with Mboni and the itinerary was custom made for our needs. We were given it well in advance. We had a driver (frank) pick us up from the airport and take us to our accommodation, he was friendly and took us on our day trip prior to climbing Kilimanjaro. We felt our welfare was being looked after and everything ran according to the itinerary. THE GUIDES Our guides, Khateeb and Amos made us feel comfortable and reassured from the start. They would outline the plan for each day the night prior and were very attentive when we had mild altitude sickness. Their pace was immaculate for getting us through each day. They would constantly look out for our welfare, making sure we were drinking enough, that we felt well and were enjoying ourselves!! They are both wonderful humans, full of smiles and energy and it made such a difference to our trip. THE TEAM We had a team of 10: 7 porters, a chef and our guides. The team were great, all friendly, all kind and all obviously really enjoying their job. All of them were always smiling which really helped morale. Faraje was particularly helpful, daily helping us with getting water and making sure we were comfortable. We got daily water for washing which was a luxurious treat which people with other companies did not get. We were amazed by Ali and Thomas' singing and by Mohammed's and Peters dancing!! Benji always had a smile on his face, Suey-Bo too even when carrying over 20kg!! THE FOOD The food was great throughout. Cooked by chef Peter. We had warm food for every meal which we were grateful for on the mountain. The food was very varied and delicious. Even when we lost our appetite due to altitude sickness, Peter came to see us and ask if there was something specific we could eat. Very kind and thoughtful. For longer days, small snacks and juice drinks were provided to us. THE EQUIPMENT We decided to hire walking poles and sleeping bags. They were both of great quality. The sleeping bags were clean and kept us warm throughout the night. The tent was clean and very spacious, compared to other companies tents ours was one of the best. We had a table with chairs and condiments for eating on - a luxury we did not expect but we're very grateful for.

We enjoyed a 7 days Kilimanjaro trip and 6 days safari with Mboni. We travel often and this was one of our favorite traveling destination so far. We received a 5 star service from Mboni and I highly recommend them if you are planning a trip to the area. Before our trip Jackson, the owner, made a very competitive offer, was responsive and provided useful and honest information that helped us plan the trip better. I felt that he valued our satisfaction above monetary maximization. For both trips we had very good, attentive and knowledgeable guides. After we finished both first days of Kilimanjaro in half of the suggested time, our guide adapted the rest of the hike so we were able to cover more in each day. We ended up doing Kilimanjaro less days and thanks for the change of walking hours we had the mountain entirely for ourselves. Since we finished early we asked to reschedule the rest of the trip. Jackson was able to change the dates of the hotel and safari accordingly which allowed us to have more time later in the islands. The Safari trip was a wonderful experience that we plan to repeat in the future. I get car sick very easily so I was a bit worried about the long drives, but Magoma, our guide and driver was very experienced and I had no issues. Magoma is absolutely full of knowledge and a great company cross long drives. The national parks are massive but Magoma knows the area so well that we were able to see a lot in a short time. He knew the territory of each lion pack, spotted leopard and cheetah from the distance and had an answer to every obscure question that we had about the animals and the area. We ended up changing our plans once again and decided to continue to dar es salaam straight from the safari instead of the day after. Again Jackson helped us change the dates of the flight and even checked hotels in Dar for us, truly going above and beyond. Over all this was a great trip, with a ton of credit going to Jackson and the staff he chose for us.

Hello. We summited on Christmas Day 2023 with my 12 year old son and my friend. Absolutely amazing experience. I would like to Thank the team at Mboni Adventures and Safaris for this amazing experience. We did the 7 days Machame route. Everything was planned perfectly by the team. Great thanks to Jackson the Owner and Lead guide Atibu, Chef Peter, Waiter Farajah and the entire team. We cannot thank them enough and would highly recommend them. We shall surely be back again....

It is an unforgettable feeling of great achievement when we all made it to the summit after six grueling days of tough trekking. It was all worth it and we are very happy with Mboni Adventures for organizing our dream trek.
