After a lot a research, we decided to go with TJT for the safari and Kilimanjaro and we couldn’t be more happy about it. Both experiences were absolutely amazing. Since before the trip Emmanuel, the owner, detailedly answered all our questions and tailored our tours to our preferences. Once there, the guides introduced themselves one day before to make sure we had a clear overview of our coming days. Our safari experience with Praygod couldn’t have been better. His company is a delight. He is super knowledgeable, always with a smile on his face and an answer to all our questions. He is super professional, and we genuinely enjoyed his company and our evening discussions not only about the animals but also about his country in general accompanied with the delicious feast Victor had always ready for us (we already miss his cooking). Praygod always look after what we wanted to see the most and because of him we were witnesses of the most unbelievable wild life.Then after 5 days of spotting the most amazing animals (because Praygod was always on point when it comes to where to find the best scenes), we met our new team for climbing the Kilimanjaro. Ringo was our guide, with several years of experience, he made sure we made it to the top and made the whole journey fun and enjoyable. His assistant Jackson was super kind and also a key to our summit success. Ringo would always made us feel like we could do it and had words of encouragement whenever we were down, or feeling a bit insecure. All in all the team of porters and cook were also amazing and made this challenging experience as something we will remember forever. We can’t recommend this company enough. We felt that everything was always well-taken care of during the whole journey, from planning to after the tours. If you are looking for an stress-free, fun, and unforgettable experience we definitely recommend you to book with them. Moreover, we were not part of big groups which made the experience more personal and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend to friends and family, and will book again with them if we ever go back.

The trip was amazing. Our main guide was Patrick, who was very helpful the entire trip, especially during the summit push. He knew what to do and say to keep us pushing and going and at 06:24 we summited, exactly at sunrise. This is no coincidence as Patrick knew what pace to maintain in order to see the beautiful sunrise at the summit. Also I must say that the food was very good and the cook knew what to make in order to keep is strong.
All in all I sincerely recommend Tanzania Joy Tours!

Excellent group and guides bringing us all the way to the top of Africa! The porters &guides were very helpful and incredibly kind to us and we appreciate very much their extremely hard work carrying all our stuff and food (which was delicious and fresh on 4600m!). Thank you to each and every of the 13 members, including guide Patrick and Lenard! The guides are professional guides with guiding school certification and certainly know everything and bring along oxygen measures for checking your health every day.
Even when my knee was in big pain after the summit, one of the porters somewhere (I still

Tip to the tourists, we did a 6D lemosho route which is very hard, even for us well trained at athletes that are used to hiking, so we recommend to stick to the recommended 7+ days.

What a great experience!!
We booked the 7 day lemosho route with tanzania joy tours and were informed very well by Emmanuel! When we arrived at the airport we got picked up by the driver and drove to the office were we got all the information needed! We got to meet our guide Patric who was very helpful and answered all our questions.
The next day we went to the rent shop to get the gear we were missing and got a wonderful lunch at a local place on the way to the lemosho gate.
The climb was amazing, the food was delicious and plenty and the guides were very helpful and motivating!
I felt very confident with Patric and the rest of the dream team 😄
The summit was though but with all the good food and the preparation we managed to get to Uhuru peak!!

We did the 7-day Lemosho hike with Patrick & his team. We had an amazing experience and felt very cared for during the entire trip. Our “dream team” made it it to the summit of Kilimanjaro not only thanks to the amazing guides, Patrick and Lenard, but also thanks to the entire rest of the team. The food on the mountain, prepared by the legendary “Mr. Delicious” was incredible. We were comfortable and slept well each night. We would highly recommend Tanzania Joy Tours, as a trustworthy, transparent and enjoyable Kilimanjaro hike organizer. We are forever grateful for this unforgettable experience - thank you, thank you!

Overall the trip was 5 star from start to finish. Everything ran smoothly, the food was great and the portions were huge. We booked the 7 day Lemosho route, however given myself and my friend were doing so well, our guide Ringo recommended we attempt the summit earlier therefore completing the trek in 6 days. We really appreciated the personalised touch. Emmanuel was very responsive and arranged an extra night at the hotel. The porters were also brilliant. I would highly recommend booking with TJT.

Wonderful experience with patrick and his whole team. Tanzania needs to be discover and kilimandjaro especially. During the trip patrick’s cookers were amazing as well as his assistant guide, john. There welcomed us as a family and it was really appreciated by all of the group members. Hopefully they will get more business after covid . Blessed the whole team.

Amazing experience! The guides are super nice and welcoming and the porters have so much energy, they are incredible. The food is really good as well, honestly you have a portion for two person in my opinion, so you’re never hungry. They also really follow your paces, i have a friend who took twice the time and they never let her feel like she was too slow. They really are there for you and respond to anything you need. We were 2 friends doing the Lemosho route. We had 2 guides,Patrick and Timothé, which was perfect for the Summit day as one was assigned to each of us. They are really professionals, nice, caring, they always have an anecdote to tell. Their team was kind and very supportive, we could make it to the summit because of all of them. We will be gratefull forever. Highly recommend them.

I had the most amazing experience in my life! Everything was perfect, organisation, the food etc. Special thanks to my 2 guides Peter and Kevin for making me live the best challenge of my life !
