WHY KILISA? First and foremost is a safe climb & Top Notch Safaris
Climbing Kilimanjaro was among of the experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life while I’m forever grateful to this Tour operator and there are no enough words to describe, so I will keep it simple! Before the arrival Naick gave me plenty information about Tanzania, Kilimanjaro packing list and other necessary information. We arrived at 10thAugust: Kilisa arranged the pickup and even the hotel we stayed was great. And our Journey to Kilimanjaro started at 11th _ 14th August and we summited on 13th August at 07:18 am “I will never forget” During the climb the entire 5 Days Marangu on the mountain was challenging for both of us, and honestly there were times we felt like we would not have made it to Uhuru Peak, But Asante to the incredible Kilisa Team that made the whole experience incredible out there Our guides Bakari and Bryson were great they showed us many things matter fact they went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable at all the time during our trek, our chef always prepared us delicious while we were on the mountain It amazed me how He always tried to customize dishes to our personal preferences and the porters [I could write a book about them about the hard work they do and make all seems easy “they deserve all the respect] We enjoyed Majestic Kilimanjaro so much with Kilisa tours and decided to continue with them since we had 3 days left before our departure so we did 2 Days camping safari to Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro conservation Area andOur Safari guide was exceptional [did not disappoint at all J] All in all, this was a trip of life-time There is no other company I would trust and recommend than Kilisa Tours. Trust Me, you won't be disappointed at all

Kilisa Tours 🤙🏼 Trip of a lifetime
What a great experience! I was a solo traveler looking to join a group of other solo travelers and I booked with Kilisa tours. Turns out our group was pretty small, it was just me and 1 other person but this turned out to be perfect 👍🏼 We were on the 8 day Lemosho route with the crater camp option but we changed this to the 7 day Lemosho route because we changed our minds half way through about staying at crater camp (we opted out), our guides were able to efficiently adjust our plans to suit everyone. We had a team of 2 guides (Bakari & Joseph) 1 chef, 1 waiter and 10 porters! They were all amazing, the work they do is just unbelievable, they make it look so easy. As we’re struggling along “pole pole” which means slowly slowly the porters are flying past us to the next camp to make sure everything is set up and ready for us when we arrive (hours later 😂) they are honestly just top class!! Compliments to our chef, he has the best smile in the whole of Tanzania, he was amazing! He even baked us a congratulatory cake after we made the summit! How he managed to bake a delicious cake on the side of the mountain still baffles me but he was a miracle worker 👌🏽 Our guides! Bakari and Joseph, thank you so much for looking after us. The altitude didn’t really affect me the whole trip until our last day and on Summit night it wasn’t pretty 😂, but the guys were so helpful, Bakari took my bag and pretty much carried it up the mountain for me, what a legend he helped me so much! I passed out and I felt so sick the whole way up, but if you keep sipping on water and push through with the help of your guides you will make it and you’ll be so grateful that you did it!! Keep going, Pole Pole, Hakuna Matata!! Tips: 1. Bring a deck of cards/a book to read/some sort of games to play just to fill in the evenings with a little entertainment 2. Power banks/solar chargers my battery on my phone kept being drained from the cold (keep it warm) my solar charger stopped recharging because it got too cold so have a power bank or 2 as backup 3. TIPPING: the guides/chef/Porters if you can, have small $ bills with you like 10/20s you can tip each person individually and they’ll be delighted! It’s typically $10 per porter $15 for chef $20 per guide this is per day split between group! They work so hard so if your bank account allows it, try to give more 👍🏼

Complete Satisfaction
I would love to thank Kilisa’s team for their wonderful services. We just returned from a successful trip up Mt. Kilimanjaro with them. When I say successful, I mean awesome and superlative in every way. We were a group of 4 who booked our trip separately. We joined other climbers at the Park view Inn Hotel during a tour briefing and they also checked our climbing gear and they assisted us to hire a few items had forgotten to pack. The company went to all lengths to provide an amazing and safe climbing experience for us]. We trekked the Rongai route up to the summit and returned via the Marangu route - over the 7 days We were having 15 number of crew during the trek and that included i.e. 2 guides, 14 porters and 1 cook + waiter and honestly all of them went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable….and some of my best memories of the experience come from the crew that supported us all the way to the top. every morning began with a song and dance that energized us for the day ahead Our Guides were very knowledgeable and well informative about mountain Kilimanjaro and Also they were very good concerning first Aids [Our safety was their Top priority], while the rest of the crew was so helpful, encouraging and most of all friendly. They all have extremely hard jobs but they all do amazingly and appreciate everything! The entire journey was to my complete satisfaction. Everything was well organized and finally We made it! Uhuru peak [the peak of Freedom]. It was an amazing experience from start to finish I give them a first class recommendation

If in doubt: Choose Kilisa!
We had a hard time deciding with which company to climb the Kilimanjaro. Loads of different touroperators available. Due to the really good reviews on TripAdvisors we decided to go with Kilisa. We never regretted this choice! 1. Our guides were very well trained, and I'm sure they are the main reason we made it to the top 2. The food, tents and crew all were really nice! We didn't expect to eat so much healthy, fresh food on the mountain! Also we sang and danced with the crew almost everyday, which we loved! It gave us a lot of energy to complete our journey. 3. The owner, Naick, responds to all your emails and questions really quickly. Which was really comforting when planning the trip. 4. The price is great for the experience and service they give you!

BEST LOCAL GUIDE
We arranged a safari with Kilisa after we read the reviews on TripAdvisor and we are really glad we did so, since Kilisa was very reasonably priced but most of all is I was Very happy with my experience We were picked up at 7am from our Hotel and we started the safari around 8:30am. We went to Serengeti National Park and had a fantastic experience. Our Guide/Driver knows the park like it is his own backyard His English is great and answered all our questions and he was also very thoughtful, Besides I was amazed how patient he was with our kidsJalso Us as He would wait for as long as needed while taking photos and even helped us takingthem He also took us to sections of the park where there we were able to see Animals in their Natural habitat: eating, playing, caring for their young, etc. This created amazing and memorable experiences for us! which, combined with his pleasant personality and good natured humor, gave us days to remember when we were in Tanzania “Serengeti” And as we drove back all the arrangements were made and we had nothing to do but sit back and relax. Book with Kilisa Tours & Safaris and you won't regret it. A good guide makes the whole experience so much more meaningful and memorable!

BEST WISHES! GO CLIMB KILI WITH KILISA
My girlfriend and I booked a 7 day Machame trek to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro hiking early July. I visualized it many times before the trek, and even when the time came by, gladly I was not disappointed at all. I actually made the best decision by choosing them bs they truly exceeded my expectations We had an amazing experience with Kilisa crew. We cannot say enough about the provision of what received from our guides Bakari and Bryson of what necessary for our health, guidance, maintenance most of all our goal Before the climb we had a meaningful briefing and after they helped us prepare for the trip with what clothing and gear to have. And even during the climb The experience was exceptional! our guides were constantly monitoring each of us along the way to make sure we were doing fine, we all felt like we were in a strong box and in good hands thoroughly. As the whole team [guides, cook and the porters] were equally caring, supportive and phenomenal hard working and how amazing they were focused on our safety and helping us to successfully bring about our goal. The meals provided during the trek by Rodger were diverse, and filling without forgetting how delicious they were “They call him Mama Africa.” Bakari would do our daily health checks after and then explain what to expect for the next day's hike [He’s just Incredible]. The team worked like a well-oiled machine. Each member of the team was genuinely keen for our success and under any circumstances, best part is sometimes they would perform cheerful songs with dancing session which they encouraged us to partake along. This always brought us so much and joy during the trek specially my girlfriend since she loves singing. And Along the entire route the guides were qualified at keeping a "POLE POLE" pace. We eventually came to realize due to this pace we were able to look around and take in the beauty of our surroundings. The forest zone was so green and lush. The flora of the heather-moorland was unlike anything I've seen before. The volcanic rock formations in the alpine desert were a thrill to look at! Most of all this “pole pole’ pace allowed us all to acclimatize to the altitude. Everything was Just amazing. Thanks to Kilisa’s crew who were all competent, approachable, knowledgeable and kind, Honestly If It wasn’t for them we would not have been able to make it to the top. As I stated at the beginning, this journey exceeded my expectations yet I can’t narrate each everything that I did experience during the trek but all in all This was a trip I'm so Glad I decided to do. It was worth every cent it cost and besides I feel so lucky that I got to do it with Kilisa Tours My girlfriend and I would highly recommend this company [although she prolyl writing her own review now :) ] to anyone who is planning a trip to Tanzania, and specifically to Mt. Kilimanjaro, didn’t go on a safari but I can definitely recommend them to that also through the experience I had with them on Kilimanjaro [No Doubt] Thank you Kilisa Tours for a wonderful adventure

We all made it to the top!
Kilisa Tours organized a 6 days hike to the top of Kilimanjaro for us. It was a private hike for a group of 4 friends. Below are a few reasons why I would recommend this company. 1) All 4 of us made it to the top of the mountain. 2) It was very easy to communicate with the owner - Naick. I sent probably over 40 emails with requests, questions and clarifications. He was always supportive and answered within a day or two. 3) The original tour packages can be customized to your preference. It was my second attempt to get to the top. Based on my first unsuccessful experience 3 years ago I had a lot of customizations to the official program. All my requests were taking into account and Naick created an adjusted just for us hiking package. 4) We had very experienced guides. They had much advice to make sure we all get to the top. The food from the chef was also good. 5) Everyone in the group had a different level of physical preparation. One of the guys spent just 4 hours in total walking around London when he was "preparing" for the hike. And he made it to the top. To be honest, I'm not sure what kind of stronger arguments could be to show the level of Kilisa Tours even if a guy with 4 hours training made it to the top with them.

Best Local Guide for Kilimanjaro and Safari
When we graduated my Beasties and I spent a considerable amount of time reviewing different companies, we found a lot of companies with great’s reviews as we went through trip advisor and other sources to look for the best tour agency who will organize perfect trip for us but then we finally decided to go for Kilisa Tours & Safaris. It was funny but really this was the right choice we made. The planning stage went very well with Naick “the owner of the company” being very responsive to all questions and clear emails on time and professionally. Then, we decided to go with 8 days Lemosho route & 5 days Safari Everything was great when we landed as they took care of everything and we didn't have to worry about transportation, Accommodations and Meals once in Tanzania And during the hike we were set up by amazing guides, porters and cook. team work of Mountain crews helped us success summit Kilimanjaro After a long climb we went to Safari 5 days at Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngoro Ngoro. Every experience was just incredible I must admit that this was great adventure for our life and all credit goes to Kilisa Team for Making all that possible I can't say well enough about this but If you're looking forward for Mt. Kilimanjaro Climbing or Go on a Safari, I and on behalf of my friends I highly recommend Kilisa Tours & Safari to everyone and we're definitely coming back at some point.

Great day on Kilimanjaro
I was completely satisfied with the service provided by Kilisa. I especially appreciated that the guide tried to customize the day according to my wishes. For example, I like to hike on my own, enjoying the peace of the woods. After my guide heard that, he suggested that we walk a few hundred meters from each other, to give me space (but - at the same time - to be there in case I needed help). The day hike on Kilimanjaro is not too exhausting, it should be manageable for reasonable fit people.

Fantastic Experience
We went on a three-day safari to Serengeti and Ngoro Ngoro crater. From the first contact with Naick, who helped us book the trip, everything was easy to arrange and so helpful. Our amazing guide Edwin picked us up from our hotel in Moshi right on the agreed time. Throughout the three days he went so far out of his way to make sure we had the best trip and Yes! We had - he knew so much about the animals and the area, we saw more animals and beautiful scenery than we ever thought we would. Edwin was so friendly and fun, he really made our trip and we felt so welcome and comfortable the whole time. . Could not recommend Kilisa Tours & Safari highly enough - absolutely fantastic.
