WOW! We had the most amazing safari experience. Joseph was fantastic. He was full of information and answered all our questions - he has a wealth of knowledge about the animals, plants, trees, parks, and local history. He got us a front row seat to all big 5 animals (along with many others) and allowed us to spend as much time as desired at any particular location. Communication prior to travel was great too. Me and my husband went on a 5 day Group Mid-Range Safari in Tanzania organized by Mohammed Haroun. We are from Chicago. We had the best time ever. Our guide name was Simba. When I tell you there was no question he could not answer with a smile. So knowledgeable. He was able to track down or find out about every animal we wanted to see and some we didnt. There were 6 people in our group. We met very interesting people from Spain, Poland, Germany and Canda. We are still in touch with them now. We were able to see the big 5. When we thought we wouldnt see the Rhino he found him. Simba was the best. He stopped when we wanted to take pictures and he never complained about all the questions. He dropped us off at different lodges and gave good instructions about pick up and what was in store. The lodges that we stayed in were budget to luxury. Some of our group stayed in tents. The food was great at the lodges and they always made us feel so so welcome and like they were so happy we came. The lodges we stayed at were Ngedere,Matawi and Rhino. The lunches on the Safari were prepared by our own chef and they were great too. Simba made sure we had plenty of water and took breaks when necessary. I cant say enough positive points about this trip. Just know you will not only have fun but be prepared for a great education about the habitats you are visiting. My favorite was the Serengeti and we went there 2 days. It was so beautiful and the animals were out everywhere like they were expecting us. There was never a dull moment. As soon as we watched a species for a while we were flying off to another sighting. You just never new when one would get spotted.. Even the weather was great. No rain and not very hot. Spend the money and the time. It was well worth it. It will be a trip of magic happenings that you will treasure forever. Hope you get or ask for Simba. It will be a life changing experience.!!!

We had an amazing day with our driver Joel, who helped us witj pictures and also recommended a very nice restaurant on the way back. Chemka is really beutiful and an amazing place to relax!

We really enjoyed our trip with Joel to the waterfalls and hot spring. The waterfalls were almost 100 meters high and very impressive. Joel was super sweet and took many beautiful pictures of us. He has a good understanding of English and shared some fun facts with us during our trip. Also the hot springs (which are actually refreshing and not hot) were really beautiful. After the first day on safari it was evident that a fantastic guide makes for a fantastic safari. Simba, our guide read our group perfectly. He understood we were not on a mission to rush from one animal sighting to another. He understood and delivered a thoughtful journey, anticipating wildlife moments that few people get see. From a herd of elephants, including babies, having a mud bath worthy of a BBC documentary to a male ostrich performing a spectacular dance to impress the female. Sinba shared details of animal behavior and how their herds/families behaved. He sought out bird species and fauna that we asked about. He was 110% focused on making us delighted and safe. A great guide creates experiences that make his customers feel magic. Simba made our safari awesome. Ask for him, if you want to be awed.

I want to start with a specific example of why this is the most deserved 5 star review I will ever write. Something a lot of people may not think about is that your guide is not only showing you the animals, they are also your driver. Thankfully, our guide and driver Aaron was the best we could have hoped for. When we were exiting the Ngorongoro Crater at a super steep incline, the vehicle ahead of us started spewing white smoke from something other than gas entering the engine. As it stalled, the land cruiser in front of us was in danger of rolling backwards (the other driver did not know how to handle the steep incline and likely did not have enough gas in their cruiser to complete it safely). If they lost control and rolled backwards, they would have rammed into us and pushed us both off the crater cliff (mind you, this is a conservation area, there are no guard rails, just sheer drops). As Aaron and the other drivers behind us realized what was happening, Aaron drove backwards down the thin mountain road and positioned our land cruiser so that if we got hit, we would push into the mountain side instead of off the cliff. Now that we were safe, he then got out and out of the 10 other drivers who congregated around the problem, he was the one who got in the stalled land cruiser and drove it up the incline. This bizarre life or death situation was saved by Aaron because he was the best, most experienced driver out of everyone there. That is what you get when you go with this company, the best. My spouse and I took the private 4 day safari with Travel Africa Safari Agency in late August. We spent 1 day at Tarangire, 2 days at Serengeti, and 1 day at Ngorongoro Crater. Aaron was the perfect guide. We saw all of the Big 5 animals (lions, leopards, elephants, black rhinos, and water buffalo), as well as countless others including cheetahs, giraffes, hippos, zebra, gazelles, crocodiles, warthogs, and seemingly every other possible animal one could see in Tanzania. Aaron is super kind, a phenomenal driver, and extremely knowledgeable. He could answer all of our animal questions, having completed wildlife college and over 22 years of experience guiding safaris in Tanzania. He also has extraordinary vision and can spot animals hiding far off in the grass that we would have totally missed. He is excellent at tracking and can identify situations where other animals will show up. Because of him, we were able to spot a family of 3 black rhinos (a mom, a dad, and a baby) in the Serengeti together, which is ultra rare. The reason you should book with Travel Africa Safari Agency is we had absolutely zero problems our entire trip. Everything ran smoothly, their hospitality was top notch, and Aaron was a genuine joy to have as our guide. There is a reason this company has so many five star reviews, it is truly the best. This was my first Safari and I was delightfully pleased. We started our journey early and remained on scheduled for the entire journey. I was able to see the BIG FIVE and a live lion hunting experience. Silas provided a wealth of information along the way including the history of the area, details on the different animals and made sure we were all taken care of. An enjoyable experience with Silas till the very end. Thank you Silas!

So let me start by saying this company has exceeded m expectations. Their communication skills is second to none, they kept us informed from start to finish. Now let me get to our day trip to Lake Materuni and the hot spring , Joel our guide was very prompt in picking us up from our hotel. His consumer service went above and beyond . As soon as we got in the car we were provided with the WiFi so that we could keep in contact with our loved ones. Refreshment was also provided . When we got to the tour, he was very patient with us. He even stayed behind with one of our friends until she was rescued by the TUK TUK 😉 At one point he was our personal photographer, taking pics from all angles (who doesn’t like this 😂) . We then ate lunch together before doing the coffee tour and throughout the entire time he was patient and I could see that his actions were all genuine. In the evening we made our way to the hot spring and in spite of receiving African massage, he took his time navigating the rough roads. Again at the springs he was our photographer and didn’t rush us at all. We ended the night by getting chicken barbecue and chapati. 10/10 would recommend this company and remember to ask for Joel by name .

We did our tour with Joel he was amazing very caring took his time to explain everything that we needed assisted us up and down the falls most of all he was a great photographer. For the coffee experience we sang together we even exchange our Jamaican folk song for coffee He constantly checked to ensure that we were satisfied both with the drive and the tour most importantly also we had Wi-Fi he ensure that we had Wi-Fi service throughout the whole entire trip I will definitely recommend Joel for any tours that you need with this company.

This trip was absolutely amazing. Our guide Joel was on time and super attentive throughout the journey. He made sure we were all fine on the hike and was our personal professional photographer. The coffee tour was also an informative experience: from the stages to brewing it and having a relaxing cup of coffee. On to the hot springs tour on our African massage trail, a lovely way to end the evening. At the end of our trip, we grabbed some delicious street food so we could retire to our beds with filled bellies after a long but enjoyable day! Thank you Joel. You were absolutely wonderful.

Omary was an amazing guide and we had a great 2 days. Managed to see the whole of the Big Five, as well as lots of other animals.

We did a 4 day safari adventure with Omary and Joel to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater and it was absolutely amazing! We saw the big five and so much more. Leopard, cheeta, lion cubs,... We saw it all! The guides knew all the right places and had an answer to every question we had.

I did the 5 day safari tour with 1 day in Tarangire, 3 in Serengeti and 1 in Ngorongoro Crater. I had the BEST time here, with Omary and Joel driving us to the best locations and beating all of my expectations ! I saw so many animals and incredible scenes of chasing. The operators are amazingly sweet and funny, as a sole female traveler I felt really safe and at ease. They are really knowledgeable and love to share about their culture and everything Tanzania has to offer. The accommodations booked were also great, I recommend asking for the Suricata Boma Lodge in the mid-range formula, it’s incredibly beautiful and luxurious. The wild camps I stayed at also offered a thrilling experience of sleeping amongst animals (in safe tents of course). I cannot recommend this tour enough, it was one of the best trips of my life. You can book it your eyes closed, knowing you’re paying exactly what it is worth. And if you do, ask for Omary or/and Joel ! They literally are the best !
