Elephants Great/Tour Company Not So Much
The David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage is an amazing place and we very much enjoyed our visit there. However, I wouldn’t give high marks to the tour company. The $75 fee does not include the $45 park entry fee. This is noted in the small print, but not clearly stated. Our driver picked us up at our hotel, but then scrambled to hand us off to another driver. We didn’t know that we needed the park entry so spent a lot of time trying to purchase tickets by phone at a wayside stop. Ended up having to pay cash in USD and office staff purchased tickets. The handoff to the other driver was chaotic and slow, and we ended up getting to the viewing area late enough that we weren’t able to see very well. In the future, I think we would purchase tickets online from KWS and hire a driver to take us.

DO NOT PREPAY OR BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!
Was flying in from Brussels to Nairobi when our flight got cancelled due to a strike at the Nairobi airport. Upon our notification of the cancellation we immediately contacted the tour operator notifying them that we could not make the tour which was the following morning because Brussels Airline felt it was a safety concern flying into a volatile situation in Nairobi and the situation was out of control. We were told our $263 payment was non refundable but to book when we got a flight to Nairobi. When we finally made it to Nairobi and reached out asking to reschedule the tour they said we would have to pay ANOTHER $263 to reserve a spot. Terrible customer service, DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!

Excellent services at Salt lick Safari
I had excellent experience at Salt lick. Good food ,clean rooms and ambience, The game drove with Philemon was to notch. He guided us well on where to find animals eg lion, elephants etc . He's quite knowledgeable about animals. The catering department Anish and Nicholas made sure we enjoyed our meals.

          Great adventure to Amboseli
We took a day tour from Nairobi to Amboseli national park, it was a really great experience, specifically thanks to our amazing tour guide Joe, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience overall. We managed to see a lot of different animals and it was an incredible experience!

Great half day spent in Nairobi.
This was a great way to spend a half day in Nairobi. Driver picked us up at our hotel. Spent some time at the elephant orphanage with up close experiences. Then on our way back to town we also stopped at a business where disadvantaged women have learned to make ceramic beads, hand paint them, and then have a small store on site where you can buy all of the beautiful products they make.

Best place to visit in Kenya
Best tour in Kenya! I couldn’t have a better moment in Naorobi. The place is beautiful, with a stunning view, gardens and birds that look like paradise. The family is very welcoming, gently and kind, and so the staff. The tea class is fantastic and guided by the most experienced person in the family. The service ir perfect. crockery, cutlery, napkins, all of the best quality. Perfect and artisanal food. from the snacks to the main course and dessert. To top it off, a fantastic tour of the medicinal herb forest guided by its guardian. Fantastic. I would go back a thousand times.

          Picture taking safari
John was excellent and we saw more animals than I thought we would. He would stop and let us take pictures whenever we asked him to stop. I highly recommend him.

Price tag for tour is not all, international visitors have to pay $50 more
The elephant orphanage itself is a great cause and i didn't mind paying a very high fee to visit since it is a good cause. What is upsetting is that you can't even go with the tour you buy! You have to buy a separate access fee to the park, which is $45 US dollars. Once again, a good cause, but it feels dishonest to pay over $100 and then be told that you need to pay 50% more. Just charge the full price from the start...

Good visit but don't forget to add park entry fee.
Just do it. A little pricy but I'm would still recommend. Be sure to get your park entry tickets before you go. The price on most tours do not include this. If you don't have tickets before hand you will need to scramble using the guides cell phone to buy these $43 USD tickets. Tickets are not sold at the entry gate. You will likely hold up your whole group.

          Choose your travel agency carefully
The animals and landscapes were great, but the accommodation was very different from what the travel agent Gracepatt said. The accommodation was temporarily changed, and it was not "similar" as advertised, but cheaper and cheaper accommodation. What's even worse is that when you try to contact the company, there's really no response. I think I still enjoy traveling here, but I will never book with this Gracepatt travel agency again.

          Fun and diverse day trip
We enjoyed meeting and feeding the giraffes at the Giraffe Center. The highlight of the day for us was the elephant orphanage. Seeing the baby elephants being fed by the keepers was delightful. There was also a tiny baby rhino. Try to get in the front of the line for the best viewing. The bead factory provides jobs for Masaii women and the jewelry is lovely. Our final stop gave us the opportunity to see many of the ethnic dances of Kenya.

          A Must Go!
A must do. Its not only fun to see the wee orphans but the rhino is also the star of the show. Its very informative as well, the (1) hour overview as to why each elephant and rhino is an orphan is very interesting. I would go again in a heart beat.
