Very good kite surfing school in Tarifa with ! The teacher Manuel “Manolo” takes into account the level of the students and works on the individual weaknesses. He’s very passionate, careful and calmly explains what you are doing wrong. We were a group of 2 guys and 2 girls and everybody made progression every day. Thanks Manolo for making this week unforgettable and getting us hooked on kite surfing!

Manuel is the best instructor I have ever had. Very professional, puntual and patient. He will teach you in a way that not only will you enjoy, but also you will understand the techniques so that you can continue to progress once the course has finished. 100% recommended and we will probably repeat when we come back to Tarifa. It was just perfect , very kind people - very responsible - but not too much - they let you go and see directly if you need help- choose the right more quit spot - and what I could see also for beginners they do perfect - but most important - really nice persons

Manolo & Victoria run a great kite school. Very personal and they do everything possible to make it your best experience. You can ask them anything and they will definitely try to help you (not only with lessons but also kite gear, accommodation, restaurant tips, etc etc). It was not my first time with them, I enjoyed their classes and the way they work (patient, fun, safe) so much I came back and have already recommended them to a lot of my friends. My experience with Subcielo was amazing, in particular thanks to the patience and the great advices of Lorenzo, the fantastic instructor who followed me in these days. I had never tried any extreme sport and I was both fascinated and super scared by the idea of trying kitesurf. Luckily Lorenzo made me feel not only at ease, but also helped me to understand my potential and my strengths. I would definitely recommend a kite lesson (for both beginners or more experienced riders) with Subcielo, in particular with Lorenzo.

I am Kimmie from the Netherlands and I would highly recommend Subcielo kite school to all! Without a doubt the best thing I have learned so far. I started from zero and after 8 lessons I was able to fully do it in a safe manner myself. Its the best experience once you can do it! The people that work for Subcielo are the most patience, kind and professional people that I met in Tarifa. Manolo is strict in safety but gives you a good time as well. So does his wife. This is necessary to kite surf in a safe way when you buy your own equipment. Manolo is very caring as well as he never lost me from his eyesight when I was in the water or on the beach. The location is perfect as there are not many kite surfers around, mainly beginners. The beach is big and there are resque boats to pick you up when you have a problem. The equipment is perfect. North (and Cabrinha) are the best beginners kites as they are easy to control and get up flying after they crash in the water. They were in good condition and Subcielo has all the sizes you could need. The prices are definitely the lowest if you compare to other schools. Mainly because they are very generous. If the wind conditions are bad and a lesson is stopped halfway, you dont have to pay that. If you book semiprivate and there are no others, you get a private lesson for the same price and so on. Its always in your advantage which is very very very kind. I would recommend (and already have recommended to my friends that also enjoyed it) Subcielo to everyone. I also recommend to take a few super vision 'lessons' after you finish the course. In this way you feel safe as Manolo is helping and watching you and you dont have to buy kite gear straight away. These super vision are similair in cost as renting equipment else where so it is definitely a good thing to do. Manolo, his wife and perrioto Eor have given me the most enjoyable learning experience that I could have! Try a lesson out with them and you will see.

I had 3 x 1 on 1 lessons which was my first introduction to kite surfing, Manolo and the school are very thorough, friendly, safety concious, fun and flexible. The school is professional, has a great spot on the beach, has all the kit that you will need. The learning curve was steep and productive. Look forward to seeing you next year.

A friend of my recommended subcielo kite school and I took a semi private Kitesurf course with Manual as instructor and it was amazing. Prior to this lesson I had two lessons in the Netherlands. My boyfriend and I took classes with Subcielo this weekend, and we were both so impressed and pleased with our experience with Subcielo . It was my first time trying kitesurfing, so I was both nervous and unsure what to expect. Manolo was an amazing instructor -- he was patient and gave clear, simple instructions that made it easy even for a beginner. His English was great for giving instructions and the classes were a great price especially for the level of instruction, attention and support that we received. For a beginner, I would recommend two days of semiprivate lessons. If we had gone with another company, I don't think we would have received the same quality of classes that enabled us to advance so quickly in just two days. I highly recommend Subcielo and am very grateful for Manolo and Victoria for giving us such a wonderful experience.
