    We went to the Blue Lagoon after a day tour to the golden circle . It was excellent ! Relaxing , very warm water, and well organised .

    The blue lagoon is about a 20 minute drive. There are several coach buses - a bit more expensive option ( I took a coach). Other option is to rent a car - the driving appears to be easy- less expensive. No traffic.

    I believe it is open all year, make a reservation in advance. You are able to stay for as long as you like, so go early and make a day of it. Have fun!
