      Highly Recommend
We booked a class to make our own item and left with a floppy bowl, two sucky bowls and a flower. This was, by far, one of the more unique experiences we’ve booked while on vacation, and it was well worth it! My husband, who was more or less along for the ride (his words) ended up loving it and thought it was incredibly cool. Austin was patient, kind, and funny—and he gave great restaurant recommendations, too! You will not regret booking this class and you’ll have a great souvenir whether you pick it up the next day or have it shipped.

      Amazing time - highly recommended!
Decided to try something different and so very glad we did this! Austin is an amazing teacher and such an artist! He was so enjoyable and the couple from Florida we had in the group was a blast. Definitely a worthwhile experience. We can't wait to see the finished product - it will hold so many memories! One of the highlights of a trip filled with highlights!

      True Artists
This is a wonderful shop/gallery/glass making experience. You can watch the artists at work and learn how to work glass. The owners are very talented and trained by the greats of glass. It is well worth your time to visit and buy some art glass. These guys are defining the next generation of glass!

      Great experience Glass Blowing
Jordan did great job teaching and explaining the process. There were 4 in the class and we all did something different. It was awesome to see the different steps for each one. This was a very hands on class that required no experience to make a beautiful piece to take home. This is a definite when you visit the area. You will not be disappointed. Great staff very friendly!

      Fun and memorable experience
The full five stars goes to Alexa, our glass guru extraordinaire. She was sweet, patient, funny and informative. Alexa helped my daughter and I create beautiful momentos of our time in Sedona. Jordan, you should definitely give Alexa a promotion and a raise.

The whole experience was awesome! The studio personnel were excellent, communicated wonderfully, and kept us all from getting "too hot!" We had a lot of fun, and learned how to the make glass objects we chose! Staff were really excellent and we would highly recommend this studio!

A fun and unique experience for a girls trip weekend. Doug was an amazing instructor. None of has had any experience and managed to create beautiful one-of-a kind beads. The shop and artwork were beautiful, Highly recommend glassblowing for your next trip to Sedona!

Highly recommend a class here - or just a visit
We booked a beginner glass blowing class for 5 people. Chris was our teacher, and he was fantastic at both explaining the process and leading us (individually) through the process of creating a beautiful glass creation. Granted, Chris did some of the work to make everything come out just right, but we were very pleased with the whole experience, all of the guys' friendliness, and the value. You can stop into their place to purchase items also, and to observe some of the craftsmen at work.

Wanted to do something different on vacation that would appeal to our artsy daughter (7), but that the entire family would enjoy (myself, husband, & son, 11). This workshop was a perfect fit. Our time in the Hot Shop with Austin was a pleasure. He was funny, informative, and safety oriented. Each person in our family selected a project to work on. He carefully explained and demonstrated how each piece was made, then assisted us individually on our projects. We chose projects that didn’t need blown, but very much enjoyed working the glass for our paper weights, pumpkin, and flower. The Melting Point was voted as a trip highlight by the entire family. Well done, Austin, and The Melting Point!

This was a fantastic experience with a great instructor who provided customer service that was above and beyond. Not only was the instruction engaging, but also very basic and easy to understand. My family and I had no previous experience and we were able to create beautiful pieces which made the experience very fulfilling. We will be coming back in the future.

My 13 year old granddaughter and I took the class with Austin. Watch out, he has an affinity for cow jokes😁. All kidding aside, Austin was a great teacher. He was very clear on the safety concerns and we were expertly guided during our session. It was a great experience and we both ended up with beautiful glass flowers which we will display with pride.

My son and I did a workshop with Chris on Mothers Day weekend and it was an experience we will never forget! Chris was so cool and friendly, we would have stayed and made glass things ALL day, if we could have. ;-) My son is now forever a fan of glass art and has an appreciation for it from a very special perspective. We don't know what brings us joy if we don't try new things and NOW we both have a new thing that brings us joy. Sedona is now our Mothers Day destination, and we will most definately be booking another workshop when I am making plans for that next trip! Four thumbs up from my son and I!

You're so very welcome...and we're so sorry. ;) Glass can be an all consuming addiction, but we're very pleased to share it with everyone we can. Nothing warms out hearts more to hear that it made such an impactful experience for you. We very much look forward to helping you keep that Mother's Day tradition for many years to come. Thanks for sharing your experience with us at The Melting Point, and Happy Mother's Day!

This was really fun, I was the only one so it went pretty fast (about 30 minutes). Wasn’t exactly glass blowing and I’m sure covid had something to do with that but was still something to experience. The safety side was well established also. I would do it again maybe with a group it would last a little longer. (Wouldn’t let me upload a picture)

Such a great family experience. Jordan took good care of us, and we always felt save regarding the Covid situation.
My 7, 14 and 17 year olds all enjoyed it, it’s hard to find activities to cover that range of ages.
I recommend you pick at least 2 designs as the process is very different and fun to learn.
The 2+2 projects we did took about 1.5hrs.

We took the beginning class and had a really fun time. Austin made the experience entertaining and the process was fascinating. I was a little nervous around the hot furnaces and molten glass, but the safety features and procedures, and the way the class was handled quickly eased my concerns. I definitely recommend their class for a fun and unique activity and when you're done you have a beautiful souvenir. We are planning to go back next time we are in Sedona with the whole family.

This was an amazing class!! This was my first time working with glass so I had no idea what I was doing. My instructor was Alexa Rose and she was Fantastic!! She guided us through every step and explained everything we were doing, offering tips and suggestions for color choices so our pieces would turn out how we envisioned them. She was very patient, upbeat, informative, and had a great personality and sense of humor. She made the whole experience so fun! I made a flower and a bowl, so interesting to see the different steps and techniques involved in making each one! I highly recommend this class regardless of experience. You can pick up your piece the next day or have it shipped to you for $20, I had it shipped and it came packaged very well so it wouldn’t get damaged and it arrived quickly.
*Thank you so much Alexa Rose for a great time and all the wonderful memories!!
