just a pretty lame tour
Aug 2021
The pink jeep tour is pretty lame. it just some driving on a jeep on the rocky road which is also a hiking trail that you can easily hike by yourself if you have time. Nothing exclusive, the tour guide will only stop for once in the entire drive to let you out of teh jeep and take few pictures with the jeep itself ..lol. Every other time we asked him to stop his excuse was we are running out of 2 hour allocated time and he needs to get back to get the next tour going etc.

On the tour you will just see the same old sedona rocks that one will see if you do any sort of hiking in sedona before. it will not even take you to any exclusive "pink jeep only" type of locations or picture taking spots. You will be cramped up in a jeep with 6 other people plus the driver who will overboard you with typical tour guide style funny already known info about sedona etc.

My expectation was the jeep tour will get me to places where it is hard to hike or time consuming to hike and then i can take some good picture of the rocks from certain angle or view that are not available when you just drive on the roads around the mountains in sedona

In short, very disappointed, a total waste of 100 some dollars per person. will not , recommend to anyone unless some one pays for it but it still not worth

Rick is the bomb
Jun 2021 • Couples
Rick was the best tour guide out there. The vast information he gave us was amazing. The ruins where amazing to see such history and to city slicker who isn't use to hiking it wasn't terribly hard. The ride was bumpy but manageable. Thank you Rick. It was my fave.

Great tour
Bonnie was very knowledgeable and provided us with an enjoyable experience. She surprised me with her ability to drive the jeep in rough terrain. The ride was fun, the site was impressive, the short hike was refreshing, and the information about the ruins was informative. Pink Jeep and Bonnie get a big thumbs up 👍

Sedona historical adventure- Honanki
A perfect outing for those interested in historical ruins. These people left traces of their lives but then disappeared. Our guide Nate was extremely knowledgeable and personable. A very pleasant hour to get to the site, partly off-road and bumpy. Nate pointed out sites and when asked, gave us recommendations for hikes and restaurants. He shared many entertaining stories of the local history. We spent an hour walking through the Honanki ruins with Nate pointing out interesting markings and archeological theories.

Interesting and Informative
Mar 2021
Opted to go on the ancient ruins tour to give this a try and I enjoyed the experience. The guide was knowledgeable about the area and the ruins. I REALLY enjoyed that the location was closed (closes to the public at 3pm) so you get a somewhat private tour and picture taking opportunity on tours that are after 3pm (maybe they all are, don't know). The lack of crowds really pushed the experience forward for me. Some things to note: 1) Currently, due to COVID, the number of people allowed in a jeep are limited (which is awesome and our group only had 5) but those in the back get a jeep window partition for safety which limits being able to ask questions/participate in the dialog while driving. 2) If you're going on an later in the day/early in the morning tour and it's still chilly out, *bring a blanket*! The jeeps are open air and it was super cold on our way back from the ruins.

Overall, I'd do another one of these.

Beautiful Day to explore ancient ruins
This is a very different kind of tour than the others offered by Pink Jeep. Lots of rough dirt road driving to get to the site. Small hike to the site of the ancient ruins. Lots of examples of art from 1100 AD. The ride is rough, and the climb up to the site, while not long, does require good balance and some high steps. Need good mobility. We had a good guide, and enjoyed the change of pace.

Fun and Informative.

Informative, Beautiful Site, fun experience.
Ride there was a mix of highway/paved road, and the a really fun rough/gravel/dirt road. That was my 2nd favorite part.
Larry was very informative on not only Sedona History, but the site itself as well. He added greatly to the experience.
Never felt rushed, or just a customer, a fun, educational experience.
