John, the tour guide was excellent. Watched the time well for a day trip with 3 hour drive up and. 3 hour drive back from the canyon.and we saw everything we wanted.

My family and I spent a week in Arizona this June. In that week, we booked 4 unique tours with Arizona Scenic Tours (Sedona/vineyards, the Grand Canyon, the Apache Trail and Dolly Cruise and Flagstaff). We had such an amazing time!!! The staff were very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They took such great care of us!!! Thanks to the staff, we were able to truly relax and enjoy the experience. Jon was a fantastic and accommodating tour guide. The trip from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon and back was smooth, Jon made a great lunch stop recommendation, and the viewpoints of the Grand Canyon were breathtaking. My husband and I were traveling with our 7-year-old son and he was comfortable and content the whole trip. I highly recommend!

Long but Amazing trip from Phoenix to Horseshoe Bend and upper Antelope Canyon. Jonathan our driver was very professional and made us feel comfortable. He was a very experienced driver and tour guide and provided background info also while helping with taking photos. The upper Antelope tour was a small private tour in an air conditioned tour bus rather than the usual open jeep ride to the Canyon. It was not crowded and we did not feel rushed at all. Steve Gerhart arranged for the perfect trip for me and my son. Highly recommend booking with Arizona Scenic Tours - this is my third tour and I’ve never been disappointed.

Grand Canyon has always been on my bucket list and this trip was the perfect way to get it done! Rod was a very friendly and informative guide. When we stopped at Cameron Trading Post, he recommended the Navajo Taco. It was delicious, but thank heavens Rod also recommended that my husband and I share one! Cameron Trading Post was a delight. Rod let us take all the time we needed. Then it was on to the Grand Canyon. When we pulled into the scenic view both my friend, Joan, and I exclaimed “Oh wow” There were no words for how amazing it is. Our husbands had no qualms about walking to the edge but we were much more cautious. Rod was wonderful at encouraging us. By the end of the trip we were to the edge, well almost. Rod had the best suggestions for picture spots and he was a great photographer for us. As we were leaving Joan and I tried to get our National Park Passport Books stamped but the office was closed. at the gift store we were told of another place to get the stamp. Rod back tracked to help us get our stamp. On the way back my husband developed a severe cramp and Rod made an unplanned stop for him to walk it off. The sights were amazing and our guide was friendly and knowledgeable.

We had an amazing trip to Tombstone. Our guide, Darian, picked us up from our motel and shared lots of interesting information as we drove through the country side. On the way to Tombstone we stopped at the San Xavier Mission. It was such a beautiful and peaceful place. Darian graciously volunteered to take a group picture. My husband has always wanted to visit Tombstone and he was not disappointed. Darian dropped us off to explore on our own after giving us information on the places to check out. He must have had an inner radar because whenever we had a question he seemed to appear. On the ride home my husband had trouble with his leg cramping up. Darian found us a spot to take an unplanned break so he could stretch and walk it out. We enjoyed our day and would definitely book with Arizona Seneca tours again.

We were so fortunate to have such a knowledgeable tour guide! Noel was very polite, accommodating, and went out of his way to make certain we were comfortable! What an amazing trip!

This was a fantastic trip! Jon, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable about all things Arizona and especially Sedona and the Grand Canyon. You can tell Jon loves to show off these magnificent areas and enjoys his job! Highly, highly recommend this trip and especially Jon for your guide!

Fantastic is the only word I can say about Arizona Scenic Tours. From the communication with Steve to our tour guide Darien, our trip to the Grand Canyon was unbelievable. Our tour guide Darien was patient and understanding. As we traveled to the Grand Canyon, Darien provided information about the scenery changes as we continued to change elevations through our drive. It made the four hour plus drive each way pleasant and interesting. Darien continued with his excellent customer service and knowledge as we toured the Grand Canyon. He allowed us our space and time to see each aspect of the Grand Canyon. I would highly recommend this tour.

I would highly recommend this small group tour. Jonathan was an excellent driver and tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable about not only the Grand Canyon but also about Phoenix, the valley and the entire route travelled. The small group (minivan) allowed for pick up and drop off where we were staying, and meant that we did not spend a long time picking up and dropping off people around Phoenix. There was clouds and snow/rain the day we went, and this tour had the flexibility to go to the part of the park where the views might be best, given the weather conditions. We were not disappointed, we saw wonderful views of the Grand Canyon, as well as several types of wildlife. A long day, but well worth it!

Sometimes it just goes right. We took a day trip to the Grand Canyon with Arizona Scenic Tours. They were easy to work with, accommodating and made our trip a fabulous experience. Now, The Grand Canyon is beyond spectacular BUT We would never have been able to see the vistas we saw and learned as much as we did without a guide. If we had driven, we would have missed so many scenic areas just beyond what most tourists visit and never had the history lesson. Eddie was our guide and a fountain of knowledge and experience. He was easy-going with the ability to help us understand the history of what we were viewing and knew how to give us the maximum time along the South rim. It was a great experience. The views really can't be captured in photographs. A couple of bits of feedback for our driver, since he was fairly new. Please add some more details to your commentary. It's a long drive and we could use some more stories. Also, it would be helpful at each stop if you told us a time and a SPECIFIC place we were going to meet you, since the van moved after you dropped us off. Finally, please get some strategies from fellow drivers on how to avoid falling asleep at the wheel when driving back to Phoenix. Otherwise, we had a great time at the Grand Canyon. Thanks!

It was SPECTACULAR! Jonathan was amazing! Seeing the Grand Canyon on a private tour is the way to go. Jonathan knew where to go, and how to avoid the crowds. We learned so much from Jonathan that we wouldn't have learned going on our own. We also stopped on the way in Sedona to see the rock formations. It was an absolutely perfect day.
