Steve and Arizona scenic tours was an absolute pleasure to work with. Our family of 7 chose 2 tours with Steve - Grand Canyon/Sedona and Apache Trail. Both tours were amazing! From first contact, Steve was professional, kind and patient, answering all our questions and adjusting the tours to fit our needs. His emails were clear as to what to expect from the tours as well as how payment would work.
The van that transported us was clean, comfortable, and had a cooler full of water to keep us hydrated.
Steve shared a great deal of information about the area and again, answered many of our questions (mostly about the cactus). Although the ride to/from the Grand Canyon was long, Steve's commentary (dad jokes), and frequent stretch breaks, made the ride more pleasant.
Listening to Steve speak about the area, you can tell he is passionate about what he does.
My father ended up in a wheelchair for the trip, and Steve went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable - even pushing his wheelchair at the Grand Canyon, and keeping him company when my father was too tired to continue.
The Apache/Steamboat was also amazing, and Steve joined us on the boat. Again, offering a great deal of information about the area we were in. He even let us stay a little longer at the ghost town so my daughter could ride the zip line!
At the last minute, my husband and I decided we wanted to do another tour, unfortunately, Steve and his company was already book! Once my husband and I secured a vehicle, Steve took the time to map out a route for us to do on our own! This is the kind of personal and kind service you will receive from this company.
I completely recommend Steve and Arizona Scenic Tours to enhance your vacation. We started out as clients, but ended our time as friends, that doesn't always happen.

I can't say enough about this great this one-day tour! The local company was helpful and communicative from the moment we booked. Our guide, Bobby, was fun and very knowledgeable. For a one-day tour, a lot was packed in including a stop off in Sedona, a visit to an historic chapel and the Grand Canyon. The guide took us on a slightly longer but more scenic and less touristy route and the sections of the Grand Canyon that we saw were breathtaking and less crowded. No problem in stopping for rest breaks whenever needed. The vehicle was clean and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the day out and I can't wait to return to Arizona again some day!

Very nice experience. If I could give this company 10 stars, I would. Steve (the owner) went above and beyond to ensure our first time to Grand Canyon was a memorable experience. He was readily available from the time we booked until the day of our tour. Noel our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the area and gave us history about the canyon and surrounding area along the drive there. He was very engaging and very friendly. When visiting the area again, I will contact this company. Hands down, they are the best in the business. Give them a call , they will customize the trip and make it a great experience. We are so glad we chose them. Very professional, courteous, kind and engaging. Thank you for making our trip amazing!!!

We went on this tour at the end of winter/beginning of spring and were lucky to see snow at the grand canyon. The views were amazing, every stop was beautiful. The best part of our trip was our tour guide Bobby, he was friendly, kind and knowledgeable. Picked us up on time and made sure we stayed in schedule to make the best of our day. He was also prepared with anything extra we might need like chargers, blankets and so on. He kept the conversation going, teaching us fun facts along the whole way there. If you come to Phoenix, you can’t miss this experience.

This was the most amazing trip we have experienced in 48 years of travel!
Darian was our guide and from the moment we met him outside of our guest house to the time he dropped us off almost 13 hours later it was wonderful!
He has great knowledge of the area and would give us heads up as the terrain was about to change. He listened to our comments took time to stop at places that met photo opportunities at places we had mentioned. He listened and shared his knowledge but was also honest when he didn’t know an answer just to be truthful- so very appreciative!
We saw so much of the diversely different Arizona all in one day. Highly recommend this adventure to anyone wishing to explore the area.

What an amazing experience! We stayed in Apache Junction and were able to meet our tour guide in Tempe. Chris was friendly, accommodating and offered so much information about the Grand Canyon and surrounding areas that we wouldn't have otherwise known. The Canyon was just as amazing as we had hoped. We were so grateful that we were able to go into the watch tower - an area we didn't even know about - learn its history and experience views unlike any others. If we're back in the area again will definitely use this tour company again.

We had a fabulous time with Noel in the Canyon. He was full of information and so eager to personalize our experience. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Noel knew all the best stops along the south rim! We saw lots of wildlife on our drive.

I attended a convention in July staying at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort. There were 8 of us booked for the Grand Canyon tour.
What an absolutely awesome tour. Our guide Eddie “Van Canyon” made this tour the BEST tour I have ever been on! His knowledge, welcoming personality, friendliness, and caring character was fantastic!
He was a walking encyclopedia of Grand Canyon knowledge.
We were treated like royalty.
This tour was the most amazing and most memorable memory of this great trip to Arizona.
I HIGHLY recommend this tour company.

Great service and wonderful driver guide Noel who explained so much about Arizona history, the history of the places we passed along the way to the Canyon from Scottsdale. Minivan was comfortable and the family that went with us were fun to be with. We toured a half dozen spots along the south rim and Noel explained special aspects of each one. Our family of 5 spent the week of Thanksgiving in Arizona. It was a fantastic time (and a long time in the making…thanks COVID :-|).
Three of the days included planned trips from Arizona Scenic Tours. We did a day in the Grand Canyon, a day in Sedona and a 1/2 day horseback riding in Scottsdale. All three experiences were topnotch. If you want to make the most of your time on vacation, call these guys. They are outstanding! Extremely knowledgeable and will work with you to plan the perfect excursion. Cannot recommend enough and we will definitely make plans with them again.

The tour ran on a good schedule to allow us to see and experience as much of the canyon as possible (while allowing free time for lunch).
I agree with omarq21: If the IMAX movie is high on your list of things to see, message the tour company to see if this could be built into your time there....but honestly, you might want to skip the movie and see as much of the canyon as possible!

I was picked up at my hotel in Scottsdale and returned there. They also pick up in Phoenix and probably anywhere nearby. The entrance fee was included.

Hello. Thank you for your question. The Grand Canyon tours do not return until about 2100, as it is a 3.5 to 4 hour drive each way. Sorry it is not by 1800. Hopefully sometime we can get you on board when you have more time, OR choose a Sedona tour or Apache Trail, as those are done before 1800.

We can pickup at many different spots in the Phoenix area. There is not a set list of hotels. It is more about a radius of about 15 miles from the center of Phoenix. Hotels, resort, VRBOs, AIRBnBs, homes, etc.

My husband has some mobility issues and we wondered if you could accommodate that at each stop. He can walk, just slowly. Is there a possibility of a portable wheelchair we could use? We prefer not to have to bring one along on our trip to Phoenix from Canada.

You should probably check with Arizona Scenic Tours, the owner Steve is good about returning calls promptly. From our experience, it should be a good trip for someone with limited mobility. As I remember, of the several stops we made at the rim, there was very little walking required. It should be easy for your hotel to rent a wheelchair for you, if not Mr. Google should be helpful for medical equipment rental.
