Small-Group Deluxe Grand Canyon Day Trip
From $179.00
Combine visits to the Grand Canyon and Route 66 on this tour from the Phoenix-Scottsdale area. A guide takes care of all the logistics, navigation, and driving—leaving you free to enjoy the famous scenery and snap photos. Gain in-depth knowledge about the area through your guide’s commentary and ask questions; a small group of just 13 people means you’ll enjoy plenty of personalized attention.
What to Expect
Begin your full-day tour with pickup at select Phoenix-Scottsdale hotels (or head to the central meeting place). Relax in your air-conditioned tour vehicle and enjoy the scenery.

Ride through the Sonoran Desert, and catch sight of the native saguaro cacti. As you increase elevation during the drive, trade in views of cacti for views of pine trees.

Your first stop is at Williams along Route 66. Get the chance to experience this famous American highway before moving on to the Grand Canyon.

Once you reach the Grand Canyon, explore one of its widest and deepest sections. Highlights include the Hopi House and El Tovar Hotel in Grand Canyon Village, scenic lookouts on East Rim Drive, and other nature walks and cultural exhibits.

Afterward, head back to Phoenix or Scottsdale for drop-off at your departure point.

Detours say they pick up from local hotels. Best to email them to see if its possible. I guess it may depend on how central or otherwise your accomodation is located.
