Itinerary
- Av. Prefectura Naval, V9410 Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, ArgentinaPassengers must show up at the CATAMARANES CANOEROS box office 30 minutes before the Catamaran sails.
- 1The Beagle Channel Isla de Lobos excursion begins in the port of Ushuaia. During the tour, small islands are visited in which various species of seabirds and two types of sea lions inhabit. Repeatedly the catamaran will stop in front of the animals so that we can take pictures and enjoy wildlife. On board the catamaran passengers can enjoy the scenery in a lounge with seats, tables, cafeteria and toilets. The boat has an open area to enjoy the fresh sea air and take 360 ° photographs. After seeing the animals in their natural habitat, the captain will take us to know the Les Eclaireurs lighthouse, known as the lighthouse of the end of the world, located 17 km from the city of Ushuaia. This will be the culmination of the excursion after which we will return to the city port.Pass byCanal Beagle

About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- KrishnaCJha0 contributionsUnique ExperienceWatching penguins was the most exciting experience for my family. We often talk about that experience. Bonus feature was watching whale. Sailing through Beagle Channel was awesome. View points from the boat can be improved considering the number of people on board.Written January 3, 2025
- calebd2790 contributionsGreat ExcursionAbsolutely excellent tour. Ship was clean, got to see a lot of wildlife, including penguins! Highly recommend!!Written November 27, 2023
- alank2960 contributionsStunning scenery and marine life.Loved everything about this tour. We got really fortunate to have fantastic weather, and the whales came out to greet us several times! The staff are amazing (friendly, informative, and helpful). At this late of the season we still saw penguins :). The scenery is stunning.Written March 27, 2023
- Julie I0 contributionsGood tourMy husband and I booked this tour last minute and were pleasantly surprised. The bus was comfortable and clean. The itinerary was good, typical for this type of tour, and interesting. The park itself is spectacular of course. I dropped a star because the guide struggled with English and the explanations were much shorter in English than Spanish. He worked to fill in the gaps when asked questions though.Written December 22, 2022
- nrg20200 contributionsInteresting for the wildlifeThe catamaran cruise came close to some islands so we could watch sea lions, penguins and many other birds. The visit to the sea mammals museum was interesting and we learned a lot from the knowledgeable and dedicated guide.Written March 5, 2020
- U1527OHmariam0 contributionsComfort, service and friendlyThis company did a fabulous job as we ventured to Martillo Island to visit the penguins. We departed on the 9am trip and our boat carried about 35 people. Seating was very comfortable and roomy- six people around a common table. Wide open windows afford superb views along the two hour ride. There were several "stops" along the way, boat stay still fit about five minutes, to view a famous lighthouse, sea lions on the rocks and other attractions. The boat staff offered a cafe with hot drinks and baked items.Written January 11, 2020

The tour was scheduled for 3:30 pm, when we arrived at the location they changed it to 7 pm without prior notice. When we arrived on Wolf Island, there was only one wolf. The guide said it happened because of the cold. On the way back we could see whales in the distance.

Unforgettable experience. Since our ship was at a pier far away, we were even picked up. Ernst gave us a lot of fun with his explanations and jokes. The food was also top notch. I can recommend it with a clear conscience

No dejen de hacerlo. Imperdible experiencia. Canal interoceánico. Se ven ballenas en esta época, lobos marinos, Cormoranes Imperiales, Palomas Antárticas. Y unas vistas excepcionales. A llevar abrigo!
