About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- N6448YFjand0 contributionsnice trips but nothing extraThere's not much special about it. A lot of People on the boat. We were lucky: very nice weather and so, we had many nice viewsWritten April 13, 2024
- richm8740 contributionsAwesome cruise on Beagle canalGreat trip on this boat to see penguins sea lions and we also got to spot some Orcas along the way. Great views and educational staff on board. Very friendly and helpful. Nice spaces indoor and out for the cruise in any weather. Would recommend this to anybodyWritten March 23, 2024
- susanwM3007KV0 contributionsFUN!This trip was so much fun and our guide, Marcel, was one of the best guides ever. Tierra del Fuego Natl Park is very beautiful with spectacular sceneryWritten February 24, 2024
- CharlotteB1130 contributionsSuper fun day in the National ParkI only had a day and half in Ushuaia and wanted to get out and see the natural landscapes and this tour was the perfect way to see the National Park! I loved the combo of paddling and hiking for variety, and even in the overcast weather, the park is beautiful. It was an active tour but without being too difficult I'd say. And we had a delicious lunch in their covered dome! Great work from our guide Gabriel, driver Octavio and paddling guide Felipe, they made it such a fun day!Written February 3, 2024
- GlobetrottingSwede0 contributionsGreat way to see the fjords of PatagoniaThis is a great short cruise, for anyone who wishes to see, and understand the fjords and the archipelago of Patagonia. If you sail from Punta Arenas to Ushuaia, the first day is a hike and Zodiak visit to see the penguins. The second day is all about glaciers with glacier alley, south of the Darwin range. The third day the objective is to disembark at Cape Horn, but this is only possible, if the weather permits. Note that this is an expedition style cruise, which means that you use zodiacs to disembark and visit the shores.Written February 1, 2024
- christinalJ8903XN0 contributionsExcellent tour!We were only in Ushuaia for a day and a half, and wanted to make the most of our time. This was definitely my favourite activity during that time. It is a historic double-decker bus which has so much charm as soon as you walk in. service is absolutely exemplary. Starting from where you purchase the tickets, to the actual tour itself, it was amazing. Our bus driver was Javier, and the English speaking tour guide was Thomas. Both Javier and Thomas were so helpful with all of the tourists by taking photos, and making sure that everybody enjoyed the tour. Thomas is incredibly knowledgeable, and was able to share so much information during the tour which we greatly appreciated. Not only is Thomas incredibly intelligent, he is a genuinely kind hearted person who truly wants the best for everyone. He is going to go very far in the tourism industry. He has a perfect personality, as well as the knowledge to provide a great experience for the English speaking tourists… Of which there were many! Javier was always there as well to make sure that the tour around smoothly, and to help whenever it was needed. This is not your regular tour where it is only pre-recorded historical information about the places you see. Thomas was also able to provide a personalized experience by sharing his knowledge as well. The time went by so quickly, and we appreciated that it stops twice for everyone to get out and take photos. it was definitely the highlight of our time in Ushuaia. A big thank you to Thomas and Javier for making the extra special for everyone.Written January 27, 2024
- EveryStepEveryNation0 contributionsMagical!Ushuaia is magical! It's a small southernmost city in the world and it's very navigable by foot. It's clean, safe and a wonderful place to start the journey and embark expedition ship to Antarctica!Written January 13, 2024
- V8983ZTjamesw0 contributionsHiking and rafting Patagonia National ParkA beautiful day. Interesting to learn about the biodiversity. While hiking we were fortunate to observe wild horses, red fox, and many more. Our guide, Gabriel and Octavio were excellent. Highly recommendWritten January 12, 2024
- christophergQ3044ST0 contributionsHighly recommended.Professionally conducted tour by knowledgeable, friendly, and fun guides. The enthusiasm of the guides was infectious, which ensured a positive atmosphere throughout the whole day. Excellent communication regards pickup location and time. - bethoSydney0 contributionsWe loved it, great way to see the national parkThis is an excellent tour and we can’t recommend it enough especially if you get Juan, Octavia and phillipe as your guides. Juan spoke very good English and was very funny too. The weather was typical for the area, it was snowing when we arrived, it then became sunny and then rained… repeat every hours or so. This was never a problem as we were given all the equipment we needed, waterproof trousers and gum boots for the rafting. The rafting was fun and not too challenging. We then stopped for lunch which was fabulous, the warming chicken stew was just what was needed. Next we headed out for our hike which was beautiful. This is a full day tour and worth every dollar ! Thanks so much to juan and the ana Antartur team.Written December 29, 2023
- ivyh8580 contributionsGreat overview of Tierra del Fuego national park! The entire experience was seamless with this tour company. The hiking trail and canoe route were moderately challenging with plenty of breaks and photo opportunities. We had a group ranging from age 18 to 65, and everyone had an incredible time. Octavio and Gabriel provided an excellent experience.Written December 24, 2023
- AlwaysTraveling650 contributionsInformative and InexpensiveStumbled across the bus tour while we stopped at visitor center for information - right by each other. It was about 1-1/2 hours, provided some great town history along with a couple stops to get off bus. It was a great value for only $10USDWritten December 19, 2023
- IB333450 contributionsGreat tour but I didn’t like the jeepTour was nice and our driver/ guide was great. I didn’t give it a five star because the car has an odd design. There is no way to see the road ahead. The view is blocked. All you can see is from the side windows.Written December 16, 2023
- Bretthumphrey0 contributionsFun Way to Spend a Day in TDF National Park.We had such a great experience with Juan and Felipe. We got to see three sea lions and two woodpeckers! The canoe trip was more like rafting but without any rapids, for those who aren't sure what to expect. The sea lions swam up to us in the raft and it was such a cool experience. Great guides and a fantastic way to spend a day in TDF National park.Written December 10, 2023

This was well worth the time and the best way to go is with a tour guide.
The train was fun and later we got to go hike in the park and visit other areas.

Incredible place and train fabulous place really enjoyed the area the Train was fabulous especially as one of the Engines was made in Wales 🏴
However the train journey out was great but we had to wait a considerable time for our return journey
I would recommend having the train out but get your Transport to pick you up at the other end
We loved the Railway station and the surrounding district and the Prisoners/actors that you have the photos with which are not expensive.

A wonderful train ride. The landscape is charming, like something out of a story, with much to see on the way to the end of the World.
Looking forward to returning!

As the owner of a tour company, I was embarrassed to be a part of this cattle car tour. You have 2 pitiful stops, boring guides, and silly little walks. You can take a taxi for 1/3 of the cost and do the exact same things. The park has so much more to offer than what this rip-off tour shows you. These companies are primarily taking advantage of people ready to launch out to Antarctica with something to fill their time. It is better to walk Ushuaia than to engage in this fluff.

Dear Wondervoyage,
We are truly sorry if your tour didn’t meet your expectations.
First, we wanted to clarify that we are Tangol agency, based in Buenos Aires, as it seems you directly booked your tour with a local agency.
We also sell this tour and we normally recommend it for the ones who don’t have a lot time in Ushuaia, as it is a 4 hours tour to see the main attractions of the national park by bus.
If you had more time and wanted to do walks and discover more about what offers the park, we would have recommended you the “Tierra del Fuego National Park Hike and Canoe Tour”, the best way to be amazed by the landscapes of Ushuaia.
Thank you for your review, it always helps us to improve our services.
Best regards,
