About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Margaret A0 contributionsGreat excursionGreat venue to see highlights of Buenas Aires. Seamless to hop on and off. I will revisit some areas on the route again. Great trip.Written August 28, 2024
- christinerU6516YZ0 contributionsNot the best sightseeing bus service in Buenos Aires.I typically love Hop on Hop Off. this one was disappointing. It ran very infrequently. At one point the driver and ticket taker got off the bus to have lunch and left us sitting there for over 20 minutes. There is another bus service that appeared to be part of the city’s tourism bureau. It ran frequently and buses looked much nicer.Written August 27, 2024
- Q6843LZjayd0 contributionsUSE THE YELLOW BUS, NOT THE RED ONESUSE THE YELLOW BUS, NOT THE RED ONES BAD SERVICES, LESS BUS, LESS CONFORTABLE, RUDE EMPLOYEES, NOT ON TIME. BECAUSE OF MARATHON SERVICE WAS INEXISTING BUT THEY DID CHARGE AND LAUGH AT ME BECAUSE I WAS NOT HAPPY AFTER WAITING AN HOUR.Written August 26, 2024
- Dexterdoss0 contributionsBest way to see the CityIt’s a must do part of a trip to thai city. It was a highlight and a perfect trip around the sites of Buenos Aires. A comfortable bus, hop on and off as many times. We saw everything! Thanks to Camilla and Martin (excellent English) who were fantastic explaining the process and confirming the tickets. They made us feel welcome and safe and looked after us. Also thanks to Alejandro Sisco for everything.Written August 22, 2024
- F6747RZjamesg0 contributionsGood long route but very poorly managedIt certainly gets round the city and stops at most of the main sites but the busses were infrequent we waited nearly an hour at two stops and the driver pulled away long before everyone was seated. Most frustrating was the fact that it was only after the stop that the voice recording explained what was there. With no maps and no WiFi working on board it wasn’t easily rectified. The alternative yellow bus seemed to run far more frequently.Written August 18, 2024
- B2805EHrodrigon0 contributionsGreat way to discover the cityJuan Gonzales was an incredible host! Helped with everything and the tour is amazing . Great way to get the lay of the landWritten August 16, 2024
- Sightseer575994665080 contributionsMake it make senseWanted to love this so bad. To go 22 stops it took almost 3 hours. The time between each bus is just too long. I averaged 45 minutes between buses. The terrible music that kept blaring was unbearable. The information always seemed to come to early. For example on the right is the home of this company and it’s now used for office space 2 blocks later we get to it. Lots of this between locations. It would honestly take 3 days to get off and on to see anything. I was told that with card they would charge me $30 USA and 36000 in pesos. If you pay the $30 us your over paying and giving away your moneyWritten August 13, 2024
- LoveTravel4571110 contributionsNeed to add time schedule to passengers! There were fewer red Gray Line buses in circuit compared to the Yellow Line bus which had multiple buses arriving at the same location. In addition, there was no way to check what time the next bus would arrive at each bus stop. Would you consider including the time schedule on your QR codes on the bus stop?Written July 30, 2024
- L6588SLirenep0 contributionsBrilliant tour of Buenos AiresOur trip was actually 4 1/2 hours. On the top deck it did get quite chilly as we approached evening. Got loads of photos. When the guide wasn’t speaking we had music to match the area. Great value for money under £25Written July 17, 2024
- andrewmH1198PN0 contributionsGood route but the commentary stinksPros: Overview of the geography of most of the city for people who have never been there before. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Website very helpful in figuring out when the next bus is coming. Cons: The recorded commentary stinks. Example: "This statue of Christopher Columbus wasn't always here. It used to be in Plaza Mayo." but then it doesn't bother to explain why it was moved, when it was moved, etc. Also, sometimes one portion of the recorded commentary was cut off so that another passage could start. That would have been okay if it were passage after passage, but there was tons of time when the commentary wasn't saying anything and it was just Argentine music. It was also very hard to locate many of the landmarks the commentary was describing. If you actually want to learn about the city, I suspect you'd do better with a professional guide.Written July 4, 2024
- milagrosd7930 contributionsNoche de TangoExcellent show! I recommend it! The only negative is that we only had transportation on the way back to our vrbo. Great experience for a short visit to Buenos Aires!Written July 4, 2024
- 771antoq0 contributionsBad experienceOn Saturday, June 22nd, we went with the family on the Greyline bus, the driver's way of driving is a shame, the speed we could not hear the audio and he braked seemed like he was carrying animals, and the windows of the bus were completely dirty, an unfortunately ride .Written June 27, 2024
- zecafreitas0 contributionsSunny day experienceExcelente day in Buenos Aires and red bus was easy to hope in and out. The only things was the start point it was difficult to find once I found it then it was straight forward and staff were very helpfulWritten June 2, 2024
- mobolajia850 contributionsThe boat ride was great. My husband and I really had fun. This was our first time of visiting Argentina. It was great and a good experience for my husband and I The lady that took us to the location did an excellent job explaining what we were seeing on the way and the driver did a great job with driving Kudos to the ladyWritten May 12, 2024
- maureenhB9753KN0 contributionsA fabulous showThis is an excellent option when visiting Buenos Aires to see a high quality show that is fully authentic to the Tango/Argentine Tango. We were collected on time as promised and dropped at the door of the cafe. The welcome within was great as we were all met by a hostess in local (historic) dress and taken to our table. The waiting staff were prompt, attentive and incredibly helpful. The service was excellent, the food fabulous (word of warning the steak is huge if you order it so don't have lunch!!) as a 3 course meal and the wine was plentiful. We weren't sure if that would be included but it was and the Chilean Merlot was particularly good. The show then began - it was brilliant and lasted an hour plus/ The dancers were superb, the musicians excellent and the whole performance just great and great to see the dance in its natural home performed so well. Transport was waiting for us ahead of the show ending and took us back to our hotel. Overall a great night and well worth experiencing if you have the chance.Written May 1, 2024

Do not book through Trip Advisor. You’ve been warned. Book directly at kiosks in Ushuaia in the wharf, ie Rumbo Sur, Tolkeyen, others. Trip Advisor outsources to “Gray Line” which does not exist as a tour provider, but contracts out again and does tell you who they contract out to. They never inform you who you need to approach about honoring your tickets. After 30 minutes of being tossed between all of the tour operators, one said they would honor the Trip Advisor tickets. By US standards, this would be considered fraud. If you can deal with the hassle of not knowing when you will be picked up at your hotel, and not knowing which operator will honor your tickets, the tour is otherwise wonderful and the scenery and wildlife is spectacular.

Great short excursion for our needs. We bought our tix off TripAdvisor. The tix clearly stated where our pickup location was. We arrived about 30 minutes prior at the pier hut and received our boarding passes and directions on where to locate our particular vessel. We board the Ezequial AB vessel which is an enclosed double decker catamaran with great viewing from inside. We saw a huge group of cormorants and the. On to the lighthouse where we saw the sea lions. There were many amazing photo opportunities. We also stopped at a small island to take photos of the Beagle Channel. The tour was 3 hours and departed and returned on time.

Gracias y saludos.
