About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- harste0 contributionsTango showAll in all a great experience. The dinner was OK, but not outstanding. The Tango show was outstanding. Great band, singers and Tango dancers. The native singer and instrumentals player and the drummers were an incredible addition to the showWritten March 24, 2025
- Deborah M0 contributionsOverall, goodOverall, the experience was good. However, having to travel to the office to pick up our tickets was a bit of a nuisance; also, at times the bus got uncomfortably full and crowded. Still, a good way to see the city and have the freedom to hop off and on at will.Written March 24, 2025
- B8552FRjohnb0 contributionsBest guided bus tourEduardo was a wonderful guide. He shared the history of Buenos Aires and Argentina. We saw so many beautiful sites and interesting neighborhoods. Well done!!!Written March 23, 2025
- Barry G0 contributionsInformative experienceInformative experience with good audio in English. Conductor on bus was helpful. Very extensive route giving full overview of nice city of Buenos AiresWritten March 23, 2025
- chris2009devon0 contributionsGreat evening - good food, good show, good serviceWe booked through Viator for Tango show and dinner and had a great evening. We had a lovely meal (both had steak, which was good) and we really enjoyed the show; the mixture of Tango and Folk Dance was really good. The service was attentive, beer and wine good and not overcrowded. Having read reviews of lots of shows before we booked, we were not disappointed. Would highly recommend.Written March 20, 2025
- Cheryl S0 contributionsConfusing directions! The bus ride itself was great, but the directions from Trip Advisors on how and where to get our tickets was VERY confusing and frustrating.Written March 16, 2025
- matthewtA9178IR0 contributionsEducational, fun, great food and atmosphere! If I had only one choice to experience in Buenos Aires, it would be the Fogon, Asado Experience. Terrific, melt-in-your-mouth food. Explanations of how they prepare each course. Attentive to dietary needs(my wife has a gluten allergy; probably little they can do to accommodate the vegetarian in your life). Not just a great meal, but also educational and a fun experience!Written March 15, 2025
- Stephen R0 contributionsGreat show average foodOutstanding tango show with a lot of variety and beautiful costuming. The let dow was.the dinner. Good appetizer and desserts duty the main meal of steak and potatoes was dry and disappointing. Skip the meal and just see the showWritten March 14, 2025
- Bobbi F0 contributionsDisappointing. Have used Big Red Bus around the world with no problems. There was no map given to follow along for stops. App wasn't helpful to see what to visit at each stop. Staff was helpful as I never received the QR code for our tickets. She found us and took snap shot for our tickets.Written March 14, 2025
- Gail S0 contributionsBad experience, not recommendedNot recommended based on our recent experience. Tickets difficult to buy, had to use phone to use credit card. Cash was necessary in order to get paper ticket. Difficult when one does not have a functional phone but needs to use credit card. We were told that maps were available on board bus, but in two days we were never able to get one. This made us miss some stops. Stops were not announced on the recorded commentary, just by a person on bottom level of bus, very difficult to hear on top deck. The wait to get a bus was often 45 minutes, not the promised 20. Getting back to ship, we had to take a taxi, as that service route ended sooner than promised. Bus had made a special stop so that staff could buy food, service likely suspended early so that they could eat dinner. Yellow bus appeared to run more frequently with better route near Recoleta Cemetery and best part of Boca, would take Yellow bus next time. Don't waste your $ on this one.Written March 13, 2025
- NickCMarr0 contributionsReliable hop on and hop off tourist bus to help you see Buenos AiresThis tour offers fantastic value for money, providing a well-paced 3-hour journey with multiple stops throughout Buenos Aires. It’s a great way to experience the city’s rich diversity, from its elegant European-style architecture to iconic landmarks like football stadiums and must-visit tourist spots such as the vibrant San Telmo Market and the colorful, cobbled streets of La Boca. The company offers a live online map to track the buses in real-time, which is useful, though a physical map would have been helpful for those looking to plan stops without incurring roaming charges. The staff were friendly, and the commentary was both engaging and informative. Overall, it’s an excellent introduction to Buenos Aires, and I would highly recommend it!Written March 12, 2025
- lucylouEdinburgh0 contributionsHighly recommendReally good tour and commentary. Fascinating city with so much to see. Thank you for making a special extra stop at the cruise terminal for passengers!Written March 11, 2025
- Gail S0 contributionsWonderful tango experienceEnjoyed this dinner show immensely! The show, with dancing, singing, instrumental music, was excellent. Coatumes were true to historical period, and beautiful. Dinner also very good ... steak was huge and perfectly done. Fish very good too. Venue was a lovely historic theatre. Staff were friendly, hotel pickup service prompt and courteous. Would definitely recommend!Written March 10, 2025
- robertpA9129SD0 contributionsOkay bus tourThe tour itself was interesting. However it was too long for us. 25 stops over 3.25 hours. Compounding the situation were the prolonged waits at some stops. The sites seen were excellent but I am glad we chose only a one day pass.Written March 9, 2025
- KevinLondon0 contributionsUsed the red bus 48 hoursUsed the red route for two days, great way to see the city and get around. Took over 3 1/2 hours for full route we used stops for Boca Stadium, Caminito, River Plate Stadium, China Town and La Recoleta Cemetery including Eva Peron’s mausoleum. Did not understand why the route went past/round the airport added 40 minutes where people are unlikely to get off?Written March 9, 2025
