- 1Estancia 25 de MayoStop: 4 hours - Admission includedOnce we get to Estancia 25 de Mayo we will continue through the course of the Calafate stream, recognizing the change in the flora as we continue the ascent until we arrive to the post of the Villalba family, first inhabitants of the residence. We will learm about the history of the family while we observe the landscape around us. We will make a short trekking around the reserve, where we will explore and discover archaeological sites that go back to the era of the glaciations. Once inmersed in the steppe, we will see different species inhabiting the place, while the guides tell us about them and their way of life. I attended this safari experience on Nov 1st 2022 whilst I was traveling in Patagonia. This was such an amazing day, the guides where super knowledgable, welcoming, friendly and looked after us all day.
We arrived at the house on the mountain where we were welcomed so warmly with the hosts and the most amazing spread of food and of course, the best wine!
Highly recommend this lovely relaxing day out in Patagonia!
