Highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Sabrina, was very knowledgeable and answered everyone’s questions. Her English was superb making it very easy for all of us. Really she was fantastic and it would be worth trying to request to join her tour if you can. Our driver, I’m sad to say I forgot his name, was a star.

Communication prior to the tour regarding pick up time was quick and they followed up with messages left at our hotel. Pickup and drop off were easy and predictable (they said 9:10, they arrived at 9:10 on the nose) and very convenient.

We opted to go for the bout tour option, which was a great way to get closer to the glacier. Highly recommend this add on.

It is important to note that you need to have $800 Argentinian dollars per person for entrance fee to the park and they do NOT take cards or other currencies. We were reminded multiple times which was nice.

Amazing experience, breathtaking views and increadible colours, however service could be better. We were very lucky with the weather, there was no wind and the sky was mostly clear highlighting lakes, peaks and ice dunes. Boat trip on the end of the day was great, the only downside of the whole experience was that we were always rushed by our guide Nikolas. We were one of the last groups to get on the ice and first group to get back to the station. We didn't get as close to ice peaks as other groups and we barely had time to take any photos, however it was still unforgettable experience.

We were picked up in a bus around 9:45 AM. We stopped twice for a nice view of Lake Argentino and a distance glimpse of Merino. Then we got to the National Park and were given our instructions and recommendations on what to do (good advice given). We had ample time to walk on the various pathways (easy to walk because the paths are like chain link fencing so no rain or snow accumulates and good directions from the guide). We experienced temperatures in the 40’s-50’s and were not cold. You get fairly close to the glacier but binoculars did enhance the viewing. We also did the boat trip which was colder and did give you a nice and different perspective. Weather is unpredictable and constantly changing here so dress in layers and plan for on and off rain and sun.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience in Perito Moreno Glacier with us, 849donaldl! We work hard to give each customer the travel experience of a lifetime, and to make them feel as you have described in your review of our services. We are so happy that you had a great experience with our guide! We will be sure to share your kind words with him. As you say, experiencing different climates during the day is common in Patagonia! You can start your day with rain and end the afternoon with a clean sky! That is why we recommend dressing like an onion, with different layers of clothes! Kindest regards, Luna from SayHueque

The pick-up was exactly on time. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The boat trip was really worth it, although the deck was too small for everybody to enjoy it completely. The land part was very enjoyable, as the park is easy to walk and the glacier is simply amazing. We could have spent more time watching it.

Wonderful tour. Picked us up at the hotel and made our way to the Glacier The tour guide was was outstanding. She was very knowledgeable and kind. The driver was also first rate. We really enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend it to anyone. I would suggest a visit to the Glacier Museum prior to the tour for all relevant insight to the glacier.

This was an amazing trip. Marisa is an incredibly knowledgeable guide and gave equal time and attention to Spanish and English descriptions. She was very informative about the region including the history, flora and fauna.
The trip was well organized; the bus picked us up on time and Charlie was an excellent driver.
Going to the glacier was an incredible experience. I would have liked more time to walk the paths, but that wasn’t part of the trip so is not a complaint.
Overall great value for money!

I believe this is the most popular tour in El Calfate and it is an amazing experience!
The tour was very well organized, pick up was on time and the guide, Nadia and the driver, Charlie were both very knowledgeable and professional.
Nadia provided very good information in both Spanish and English. We saw Guanacos on our way to the park, a flying condor and a fox!
Once in the park, we explored the walkways with wonderful views of the glacier, and we could hear the sounds of the glacier! It was amazing and the pictures are stunning!
After that we took the boat to get an even closer experience of the glacier and we were really lucky to see a huge piece of ice falling!

Only one thing was annoying to me: The lady, in the boat, speaking on the microphone, would not stop talking! The only way to get away from her “noise” was to be outside which was very cold and windy...

Overall it was a really good tour!

Wow, thank you 533dayseg! I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed your El Calafate adventure, and got to experience Perito Moreno Glacier to the fullest! That's so cool that you were even able to see a chunk of the ice plummet into the water below, not everyone gets that powerful experience. It's one of our priorities to provide our travelers with top-tier guides like Nadia who will enhance your experience with interesting facts, friendly banter, and local insight. I will pass on your compliments to her! Thanks for taking the time to let us know about your awesome trip! Best, Cathie

Had a great day at Perito Moreno, glorious sun, no wind and plenty of carving going on. Huecue guide was excellent. Charming informative girl with the right amount of enthusiasm and care. Highly recommend this outing, Food is available but I would take a packed lunch and plenty of water.

Huella del Sur was on time and organized. Marisa is an excellent guide. Knowledgeable and helpful. The glacier visit is easily done on your own if you have a car. However, I learned a lot about the local topography and glaciers from her as we drove from El Calafate to the park. It is important to wear layers. The wind was nukin’ the day I was there. Throw in some warm sunshine, bitter cold wind and drizzle all within the day and you will be more comfortable with layers in your backpack. The catwalks are as interesting if not more than the boat ride. But I’m glad I took the boat ride. One more great angle to see the impressive glacier.

We first viewed the glacier from a high viewing points. There were paths leading down to get closer which were secured with fencing and there were various points to stop and view. We then took a boat ride that went close to the glacier. The highlight was seeing pieces of the glacier falling into the water.

Thank you for the shining review Bonnie! Visiting Perito Moreno is always a stunning experience, but when you choose to explore this natural wonder with SayHueque, the experience is a step above. We pride ourselves on our knowledgable, specialized guides who are enthusiastic in answering all of your questions and giving you in-depth information. Plus, we agree that the boat tour is a MUST! It allows travellers to get extra close to the gigantic glacier. Try to take pictures to the pieces of the glacier falling into the water, if you can! Best, Luna from Say Hueque
