Itinerary
- Pass byNahuel Huapi Lake
- 1Sailing begins at Puerto Pañuelo, in the Llao Llao peninsula. After an hour sailing, you'll see Centinela Island, where the remains of Perito Moreno lie, the father of Argentine National Parks. From then on, sailing goes on up to Cascada de los Cántaros. Walking through the lush vegetation of the Valdivian rainforest, you'll get to the mouth of the waterfall, on Cántaros lake, where you can see an over 1,500-year-old larch tree. Five minutes later, you'll finally get to Puerto Blest, a place whose beauty has amazed tourists for years. The Blest Inn, a tribute to the legendary inn that was once located there, reopened recently. It is the perfect place to spend the night and rest in the middle of a unique environment. The inn has a gourmet restaurant and, a few meters away, there is another place where they serve different meals.Pass byPuerto Panuelo

About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- asl4920 contributionsExcellent Customer ServiceI booked a full day tour through this company for Torres del Paine National Park. This company is actually more of a tour broker. They book your tour on behalf of the company that actually conducts the tour. This is a common practice in Patagonia. Anyway, I was pleased with the service offered. All my questions were answered. They guided me through the booking process and made sure I received all the information needed for the border crossing process from Argentina to Chile. They also provided good follow up customer service to make sure everything went smoothly. I would recommend using them.Written March 17, 2025
- Yrothberg0 contributionsGreat Tour and Show, but not night time in summer. Our tour guide was great. The Tango Show was phenomenal. But this was not a night tour. Initially, they wanted to start at 3:30 p.m., which clearly is not night time. So we moved the start time to 5:30p.m. But this did not make any difference as February is summer time. It did not get dark until 9 pm and we were dropped off at the Tango Show at 8 p.m So we did not see the city lit up at night.Written February 8, 2025
- eduardou6620 contributionsVery disappointing.Disappointing. A Tourist trap. Expensive and mediocre experience. More like Disney Land than a true Estancia. We were supposed to have a horse ride around the Estancia, but it was around the garden of the house. We were supposed to see the workings of the sheep heard an and saw a funny comedy with sheep.Written January 10, 2025
- Trek5513550 contributionsHorrible experience Total scamThis tour operator is a total scam. they don’t actually give any tours. We were charged $700 for the small group trip and they resell it a a cheaper price to another operator who actually performs the tour. We were told we would be picked up at 7:30am, the bus didn’t show until 9:30am. We crossed the border into Brazil and drove another hour around some bordering town trying to pick up another couple. Mind you, we were staying at a hotel that is only 30 min it drive from the waterfalls. We had a guide who didn’t talk at all, nice guy but I am not sure why he was on the tour. While on the tour we were informed that some of the guest on the tour had purchased another tour and we now have to wait for another 2hours to get the ride home. I texted the operator but of course got no response. This company is a scam and I am reporting them to the Argentina ministry of tourism.Written December 25, 2024
- Navigate6585840 contributionsBe careful!Be careful when doing the sunrise tour on the Brazilian side when booking with this company! I booked a the sunrise tour through their website. The company picked me up on time, however on the way I realised this was the first time the guide was doing this tour even though it appeared through my prior discussion when planning that this was a common and highly sought after tour. When we reached the border the tour guide told me sorry the border doesnt open until 6am, by which point we would have missed the sunrise. I booked this tour as something special to avoid the crowds and enjoy a lovely peaceful breakfast at the falls beford the gates opened. After we realised we would miss the sunrise, which was completely due to the companies lack of planning due to not checking the time that the border opens - a basic skill for any tour company I would say - we sat at the border for another 45 minutes waiting for the gates to opening. I asked mutiple times if could still go before tye gates open, I was told yes but as it got closer to opening time, i realised this wasnt going to happen. After trying for hours to contact Ripio Turism, I was given 2 options; a dinner at the falls or to visit the falls during the morning and recieve a refund. However, at the time of making this decision I had no idea how the refund would be as Ripio Turism was unavailable. I took the visit the falls because the whole point was a spend a day at the falls and if I went at night I would see nothing by daylight without having to buy 2 tickets in the same day! I asked if i could purchase the ticket in the morning to explore myself and use the same ticket for the evening but the guide said no. When I recieved the refund it was less than 15% of my total ticket because they said we just removed the sunrise part of the tour. I understand their logic but i didnt want a tour during the day, it was my only option because they didnt plan anything to ensure I could enter in time for the sunrise. I purchased a unique experience and paid a significant amount and instead I received something I didnt even want to do! When I contacted Ripio Turismo they tried to tell me it wasnt their fault and that because I had recieved the entrance fee and a private tour (which i didnt want or book - I booked and wanted to see the falls at sunrise) - they couldnt refund me. They missed the whole purpose of me booking this trip, lied about the reason for us not been able to enter the park and then completely refused to listen to my complaints! I was really upset and angry - I completely understand if the reason is out of someones control but this happened purely because the company didnt do their job and the only solution they could offer was a tour I didnt even want to enjoy! Big scam and big waste of my money!Written December 22, 2024
- Cruiser1593410 contributionsA Great Tour to Penguin Island, Chile, with Cristian HWe contacted Cristian Herrera of Vamanos Tours to arrange a private tour to Penguin Island from Santiago, Chile. He was excellent! Communication was timely and positive, and he was punctual and exceptionally personable. He had arranged a boat with a local fisherman, in advance, who navigated it expertly. We knew we could not go onto the Island, but were pleasantly surprised by how close we were to the Island. He also showed us the local beach and some picturesque areas. Our stop for lunch was also great and based on our preferences. All in all a super day! He does all sorts of tours - but book early, his availability can be limited and you don't want to miss out! Thanks Cristian!Written December 21, 2024
- K9738WLtaniab0 contributionsBanana Tours, Guayaquil, EcuadorBanana Tours, Guayaquil, Ecuador. Contact the owner Jorge through Juan Pablo at the Oro Verde Hotel or through Oro Verde Guayaquil. Excellent tour of the City of Guayaquil by car and walking in the historic center. Local tour of the Mango and Cacao Farm. The Farm tour included a presentation of the processing of chocolate starting from harvesting cocoa beans up to producing the chocolate paste used for making chocolate bars. We finished the visit with local appetizers served by the owners of the farm, and took home the bars we made, and the ones they sell. On December 2024 Guayaquil is under a security alert, thus having a trusted tour guide is paramount. Jorge speaks excellent English and Spanish.Written December 18, 2024
- Dawn H0 contributionsFabulous, customized tour to Iguazu FallsMauro Levin was very helpful (and patient) helping us customize our fantastic tour to Iguazu Falls. We ended up also doing the Argentine Experience and Itaipu Dam, both of which we really enjoyed. The private guide that was assigned, Ricardo, was dynamite, with excellent communication and guidance. He picked us up from the airport and was with us every step of the way, taking us back to the airport as well, even helping us at the counter with the check-in. Thank you, Ripio Turismo. Your excellent reviews are well deserved.Written November 27, 2024
- Go4314680 contributionsMiss information to the max - DON’T BOOKLots of miss information about this tour. I asked before booking if guests could enjoy the 4x4 ride but not go on the boat, I was told YES but when we arrived to the meeting point the tour operators said that wasn’t possible and therefore we wasted $125…need a refund on this TripAdvisor. Poor communication on where we were supposed to meet even after I reached out to the booking agent for additional info and NO ONE responded day off to clarify. Vouchers do NOT show true name of the tour company and park staff did not recognize the company name. We basically had to wonder around until we stumbled upon the meeting point. Actual boat tour was GREAT but overall experience was very poor and therefore would NOT recommend anyone book this through TripAdvisor.Written November 14, 2024
- perfy770 contributionsAmazing FallsIt’s amazing…you can’t lose with the falls iin the Brazil or Argentina side. The price of admission is very reasonable. There are three exits from the park bus from the entrance; 1. Excursions 2. Main trail (recommended) excellent panoramic views. 3. Short trail to falls. There is a bird sanctuary across the street that is amazing. The Argentina side has 3 trails, upper, lower and Devils Throat. If you are limited in time I would recommend leaving upper trail out…although it is still a very good one.Written September 9, 2024
- AaronPollNYC_230 contributionsFind a better tour company option in IguazuHonestly, not great. TLDR: they don't really care about you having a good time and ignore very important details, and make a lot of mistakes. We went to Iguazu Falls. Maybe our representative wasn't experienced, or maybe he just didn't care. There were so many mistakes made, and all of them were avoidable. We had a group of four, but not all together - two groups of two, one couple coming from NYC and one couple from Chicago. My flight from NYC was delayed, which should be no issue for a tour company. But the the Chicago group was on time. So they messed up the pickup, and the Chicago group was stuck at the airport for an hour because Ripio cancelled their pickup, even though they were on time. Ok, bad start. Then they charged $39 per person to go to the first stop which was billed as a "half city tour and visit the 3 frontier landmark". There was no "half city tour" and the "visit" was basically nothing. No instruction, no assistance, we just parked there and walked around for 5 minutes. Next up: we booked a sunset boat cruise for night one, but it was cancelled due to weather. That's fine, but then he moved it to Tuesday and moved our Tango dinner show from Tuesday to Wednesday. Two problems here: the boat cruise was pretty bad, mostly senior citizens. And the tango show ended at 11pm on Wednesday...but we had a 2:15am pickup on Thursday to get to the airport. So he should have just left the tango show on Tuesday night and either cancelled the boat cruise or moved it from Monday to Wednesday, since it ended earlier in the night than the tango show. Or just tell us the boat cruise is for old people and let us decide. An experienced tour guide would have known not to book a late-night activity, when we had a flight so early the next morning. He had all the details, and clearly just wanted to check boxes instead of make sure we had a good time. All in all I wouldn't recommend them.Written May 29, 2024
- mjmostek0 contributionsAvoid Iguazu tours, maybe this company. We booked the Full Moon Puerto Iguaza tour. It was advertised as a small group tour of 15-20 people, which I thought justified the added cost versus booking directly with the park. Nope. They just drop you off at the entrance and you go on a tour with 150-200 people. Essentially you pay 150US for a 30 cab ride.Written April 7, 2024
- albertsL6404BI0 contributionsAmazing viewsBoth tours were wonderful. The guide Junior on the Argentina side was fabulous. He was very accommodating and so informative. The same goes for Macca, our guide on the Brazil side. Well worth visiting both sides.Written April 6, 2024

- 778samo0 contributionsBest way to spend evening in IguazuWe had such a fun time! Can't imagine a better way to spend an evening in Puerto Iguazu. Enjoyed meeting the other guests as we engaged in cocktail mixing, empanada folding, and dining on a wide-array of appetizers and main meal, which included the most delicious filet mignon we've ever eaten. Our two hosts, Bruno and Mateo, were fantastic hosts and added a lot of fun to the evening. This experience stands out as a highlight in our 16-day trip and will be talked about for a long time to come!Written March 2, 2024

The whole south is wonderful, but Bariloche remains the best choice for its variety of attractions, its city and its hotel and gastronomic infrastructure. I must also say that it is one of the most expensive, both in hotel and gastronomy and in everything related to winter activities. Passes in Cerro Catedral are the most expensive in the country and even more expensive than in any European ski resort.
