About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- ThierryUS0 contributionsNothing wrong. Nothing great. Just ok.The whole experience is just okay. Nice solid touristy thing to do. Nothing more. Not terrible, but not great. Theater is nice, Service is good. Dancers are good. Singing breaks between dances was not great. Wished this was focused on tango dancing more not gimmicks like the horses at the beginning or the dances showing the history or the singing without the dancing in between. Could be shorter and more focused. Overall no complaints but definitely not blown away. Nowadays you can see tango in any big city. It’s nice to see it here. Nothing more. Didn’t try the food because I guessed it wasn’t worth it. Still think it’s the right choice. Neighborhood is sketchy so take precautions coming an going. Also ends super late.Written January 19, 2025
- 241keithj0 contributionsAuthentic Tango Show in Buenos AiresThere are many places to see tango performed here in Buenos Aires but most of them don’t start until 10:00pm. If you want an earlier show this one is a good option. It is in a smaller venue with three levels of seating so everyone has a good view of the stage. The show is non-stop high energy lasting an hour. There were from one to three couples dancing tango with costumes that evoked the 1940’s and were changed throughout the show. There was also a performance of flamenco with boleros and drums, a few solo vocal numbers, and some instrumental pieces played by the band. The band included a bass, piano, bandolero, and guitar. Their playing really set the mood. A few comments to share. The description of this show on TripAdvisor made it sound like the optional dinner was a set menu. We’ve found that the food served at this type of setting is sometimes lacking, so we opted for show only tickets. The advertised time if you chose the dinner option was 6:45, with the show starting at 7:45. When we were seated at about 7:30, others around our table were just then ordering their meals. So the show actually started at 8:30. Had we known the dinner time was very flexible, we would have arrived 30-45 minutes later. Also, diners were ordering off menus, so there were multiple options for what one wanted. If we were to go again, I think we would include the dinner option as the food looked good. Overall, this was a great show, everyone in the cast highly skilled and the result was an intimate experience of authentic Argentine music and dance.Written January 12, 2025

- Destination7769450 contributionsTerrible Shuttle ArrangementLate and slow than normal Hotel Transfer. Scheduled pu is 8:45pm we were the first to board, after that there were at least 7 more stops but only two had people showed up. The entire shuttle took 2 hrs. The show already started 15 min by the time we sit down. They blamed the driver there’s no apology from the show organizer. Terrible arrangement all the way.Written December 29, 2024
- Moisesgon0 contributionsFantastic Dinner and Tango ShowWe had the show and dinner deal for two and we had a blast! The nice and clean van picked us up at our hotel, took us to the place where a nice dinner was served followed by a fantastic show! Then a safe ride back to Hotel. Yes we opted to have an upgraded bottle of wine which costed us a little more but it was well worth it! The 💃 dancers and players are fantastic and we will not hesitate to go back! We loved the show! Please get the steak and flan! They are superb!Written December 28, 2024
- loribS2087LU0 contributionsGreat show. So-so dinner. We arrived about 20:30 and had more than enough time to enjoy our dinner. Do not get the crêpes that was not a good choice. The steak was so so. The atmosphere and ambience was nice and the theater was quite beautiful. The show was very fun and the musicians were outstanding. The show lasts an hour, which is the perfect amount of time.Written December 13, 2024
- 62Indigo0 contributionsBuenos Aires private city tour with the tunnelsWe enjoyed our Buenos Aires city private tour. Our tour guide Ana made it really special. She was knowledgeable and professional. She spoke English well and answered all of our questions. She took us to all the different places in the city and explained everything thoroughly. The tunnel tour was also very interesting and worth visiting-the tunnels have been meticulously restored and the guided English tour was very informative. We highly recommend this tour, especially with Ana.Written December 11, 2024
- beaverislandphilh0 contributionsInclusive tour to Uruguay. All I had to do was pay for my adventure, and you took care of the rest of it. From the lobby of my hotel, to the ferry ride and tour that you put together you left nothing for chance. Nora brought us back to our hotel. It doesn’t get much better than that. Thank youWritten December 11, 2024
- Okan Y0 contributionsGreat Show for Tango in BAGreat Show, great actor! I didn‘t ordered the Food, but I think this was also smarter, which I would give young people and students as an advice to get you something somewhere else before/after and just enjoy the show with the drinking flat of wine and Beer :)Written December 8, 2024
- BoiWanderer0 contributionsCute ColoniaExcellent trip all round. Colonia is small and beautiful, ate good food and drank good wine and beer during the day. Some live music being played at some of the bars. Logistics: Picked up and collected after the trip by Luis who was friendly and shared some insights of Buenos Aires. Updates from Carlos related to the trip were informative. Our guide Lourdes was knowledgeable. Queuing for passport control both sides (less organised the BA side) was a frustration but such is life!Written December 8, 2024
- jknd020 contributionsNice day trip!À we’ll run operation. Our driver Nora picked us up promptly and took us tot he port with plenty of time to check in, clear immigration etc. Note you will need to scan out of Argentina and into Uruguay before leaving port! Once you get to Uruguay you just put you bag on the scanner and go. Lourdes our guide in colonia was very knowledgeable and did a great job with a large group. Had enough time to eat lunch take a few photos and peruse a few shops before returning to port. They say to get to your check in at least and hour in advance and this is important - we actually were 90 min early and it seemed about right to not feel rushed. Nice day trip!Written December 7, 2024
- Carlos O0 contributionsIt was OK, but not what I was expecting or looking forI thought the show was a five star in acrobatics and in degree of difficulty, but was not really what I was expecting, tango, porteño more representative of what tango is all about and not a ballet dancingWritten December 2, 2024
- marianne_doane0 contributionsDon't pick the lunch option! We picked the lunch option. They picked us up and said they would drop us off down the street from our hotel at 2:00 for lunch at a restaurant. I thought lunch would be on the water in the area we were going. We were picked up at 7:00 and it took 1 hour and 15 minutes to pick up the other guests before leaving the city. It was almost 2 hours before we got to the boat. I asked to cancel the lunch option. They canceled it without a refund. Not our best day in Buenos Aires.Written November 26, 2024
- jollenovich0 contributionsTango and Argentinian dinner in El QuerandiThree course Argentinian dinner menu was really delicious! You can see why Argentinians eat a lot of meat, they really can prepare it medium as I asked for. You had opportunity to drink ”vino del pueblo” red wine called San Telmo. The service was brilliant, worth for tipping. The tango show started right after the dinner. I was stunned how skilled dancers they were! The show itself gave me better picture how difficult but elegant tango is! I really suggest it for the people who is interested in about Argentinian culture or dance itself. Great experience!Written November 13, 2024
