De Humahuaca a Iruya son unos 70 kms, 50 kms de ripio y cuesta en zig zag pero vale la pena El paisaje es único. Iruya es un pueblito mágico, apoyado en la montaña. Varios restaurantes y hoteles donde pernoctar, llenos de turistas europeos.
En Humahuaca hay que visitar el maravilloso cerro Hornocal, el cerro de 14 colores. Es un paisaje deslumbrante, especialmente cuando está iluminado por el sol.

Fuimos en auto desde Tilcara . Salimos a las 10 de la mañana de Tilcara y llegamos a Iruya a las 13.30 . El camino es bellÃsimo pero : el ripio del tramo Jujeño está menos mantenido que el tramo Salteño . Se puede ir en auto sin problema . El calculo es 1 hora de asfalto y 2 hs de ripio ya que son 56 kmts de ripio . El camino lo vale y el pueblo es adorable . Nosotros paseamos 2 hs por Iruya y a las 4 de la tarde empezamos la vuelta tomando mate . La vuelta es un poco más rápida porque es en descenso . A las 7 de la tarde estábamos en Tilcara de regreso . Se puede ir y venir en el dÃa .
