About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- TravellingHappily0 contributionsExpensive but a lot of fun! Truly drenching! You purchase your tickets once you are inside the Argentinian side of the falls park. You have to listen to the guides hanging around the ticket booth, and receive their invitation to join the queue. And then get to the pick-up point at your allotted hour. But from then on, the organisation is fairly efficient; there's an open bus ride through the jungle to get to the embarkation point, with multilingual commentary. You get given a waterproof bag for your gear as you descend to the boat. You do get drenched, so wear a swim suit and put all your day clothes and shoes in the bag. The boat trip is exciting and fun. There is the option to buy photos and videos from the boat cameraman. Overall it was expensive but excellent!Written November 28, 2023
- TScpatraveler0 contributionsTour of a lifetime!!Tour included hotel pickup to airport, flight to IGU, tour guide met us and transported to park for full day tour. Boat ride under falls included. Park entrance fee not included; credit cards are now accepted. USD also at concession areas. Walking is flat, even surfaces. Short train rides can replace some of the walking, but can have long waits of up to an hour. Boat ride not as scenic, mainly to experience getting drenched under falls. Stairway is 240 steps, most with no hand rail, so mobility is an issue. My wife uses a cane, could not go. Park is incredible, flora , animals, and fantastic waterfalls. Guide was great, Micheala. Walked us to the limit, but very thoroughly all over the park. Hotel pickup and return very timely. Being from US on first trip to S America, anxious about such an involved tour. Airports are unescorted, language was an issue getting the announcements, so ask lots of questions; airport staff usually helpful. Highly recommend to anyone going to BA and have enough time. We were very tired from long day and lots of walking, miles, but recommend to anyone.Written January 6, 2019
