It's far better than I expected, a great experience
An unbelievable experience without a doubt. I have seen Victoria and Niagara falls, also impressive, but these are so different. They are a very extensive and a multi-level sequence of water falls that are very picturesque and you can get up close and personal by walking on the boardwalks. There are some extensive walks but a lift will take you right down to the boardwalks thus avoiding an arduous hike. Here you will have all the views that will impress even the most travelled explorer.

Wear shorts and pack extra clothes
Great to do. Just don’t oversell the 4x4 element of the journey - it’s a perfunctory drive to get you to the real fun, and your boat!

Could be done a lot cheaper
I loved the motor boat ride, the guys were amazing, the jungle 4x4 is only taking you to the motor boat ride, so nothing special. The waterfalls can be done on your own at a much cheaper cost, so all in all it was worth the money for the motor boat ride but that was it.

What a blast of a time!
This activity is not to be missed if you are on the Argentinian side. Take a truck/bus ride into the rain forest for about 20 minutes to arrive at the site for the boats. You must be capable of walking 200 stairs alone, with no railing - both down and UP. It is well worth the walk but I would caution against older people trying this as it is a long walk, steep at times and there is no way for 2 people to be on the stairs at once to help another person. Extremely well run - they give you waterproof bags for your gear as well as life jackets. They drive you through the rapids on a motorboat and then up to the falls and then under the falls. An unforgettable experience. They even film the event and purchasing the video and still pictures is not expensive at all. What a great souvenir of an excellent time. However, tickets sell out wayyyy in advance. You need to be checking to be sure you are on line a week before you want to use the tickets. We signed in about an hour after the site opened for reservations for the upcoming week and there were only 16 seats left out of the hundreds that were available. We were lucky we got the tickets! Further, if the water is too low, they will not run the ride - so don't get too excited until you find out the morning of the event that it will be a go.

          Go just to Wanda
Wanda is an amazing place, close to Iguazú. San Ignacio is way far. The worst preserved Jesuit complexes in Argentina and Brazil. Nothing of interest to be seen.

          Mix up
Had a mix up on this day. We’re suppose to go with this company but never heard from them and waited until 740am and no one came to pick us up. No email or WhatsApp of pick up time. Someone from our original company Cuenca del plata came and still had our name on the list and assuming they were Nordic we went with them. Had a great day with Cuenca del plata and our guide Marco Antonio was excellent. Did everything we would have done with Nordic but with Cuenca del plata. Nordic was in contact and did leave our tickets with our guide Marco for the boat tour. Thank you for that. So I can’t say how Nordic company is but Cuenca del plata was excellent.

          The Gran Adventure 5/5
If you are a foreigner, it’s cheaper to buy this tour through TripAdvisor than the tour agency official website. The only downside is that you still have to pay 4000 pesos for the park entrance. Otherwise this trip was well worth the money 5/5. The Gran Adventure was awesome

          Spanish
I keep receiving messages (in spanish) from this comany even though they know i do not speak spanish. The waterfall trip was amazing. The san ignacio tour i do not reccomend. The guide barely spoke english and we were ignored most of the trip because the others did speak spanish and so there was soanish shouting in the car for the entire time in the car. Which was a 3hour drive each way.

          THE BEST OPTION IN IGUAZU
We traveled with my family with this company in both Salta and Iguazu and the truth was that everything was excellent. Guides that speak perfect English, new and comfortable vehicles and attention all day to all our concerns. Thank you for making our trips a beautiful experience.

          Once in a lifetime experience.
There’s an interesting four by four trip down to the steps where you descend to board the boat. The main event, though, is the thrilling ride under the falls. Do not bother to wear waterproof clothing, you will get wet!

Pick up at the hotel on time, we were taken to the entrance of the waterfall park. Here we lost a lot of time to enter and get to the train that led to the Garganta del Diablo station.
Once we arrived we were shown the walkway to reach it but no explanation on the place was provided. They just told us to get back to the station an hour later.
Second lap made on one of the circuits, again without description of anything. Lunch break then 90 minutes before queuing up for the boat ride, the only positive note of the day, managed by the Park staff.
In summary, 10 hours outside the hotel, for a maximum of two and a half hours.
Given appointment at the exit, which we had to reach ourselves, bus arrived 30 minutes late.

You have to do both sides of these falls because they are so different. This side gives you a great insight into the myriad of subsidiary feeds that constitute the whole as well as the dramatic main falls that you cannot see from the Brazilian side. A train takes you to the main start points but be warned, there is a lot of walking. It is wheelchair friendly in many areas but it is going to be hard work without power. It is flat but if you are walking impaired, it is going to very tiring. Is it worth it? Well, yes, most definitely as the views are tremendous and and you get an insight into the extent of the area feeding the falls. My advice if time is limited, take the "blue" route. It does get crowded particularly at the vantage points but you will get your "money shot" with a little patience.

Iguazu Falls are spectacular and did not disappoint. We were on a tour with Road Scholar that included Santiago, Valparaiso, Puerto Varas, Patagonia, Bariloche, and Buenos Aires. They did a great job and we got to see a lot. We saw the falls from the Argentina side as well as from the Jungle boat ride. Never saw anything as grand and we were really glad we went.

The falls are amazing - must see. However, my experience is that it is not necessary to go with a tour agency. You will see exactly the same things as if you went by yourself and the tour guides did not really interact with you during the experience.

They are also highly likely to be late picking you up from your hotel.

I would recommend booking the boat / waterfall experience in-person at the falls rather than beforehand on one of these TripAdvisor experiences.

I do not recommend this company. They delayed our tour almost 2 hours. They also had miscalculated the amount of people so they did not have enough seats in the van. We had to see the falls at a high pace, they did not compensate us in any way.

I have been cancelled the excursion activity to the moconá jumps with less than 8h in advance, and I have already been cancelled another activity in Salta. I assessed them positively in the activity of Salinas grandes and the one I decided to do in jumping instead of hiking in San Lorenzo. Here I value them as your organization, LOUSY

Estimado cliente.

I should just say awesome! I went to visit the Argentine side and there you can see the full force of the waterfalls, you can see from where they break, I touched open the throat of the devil and had a lot of water! Unmissable.
