About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- perfy770 contributionsAmazing FallsIt’s amazing…you can’t lose with the falls iin the Brazil or Argentina side. The price of admission is very reasonable. There are three exits from the park bus from the entrance; 1. Excursions 2. Main trail (recommended) excellent panoramic views. 3. Short trail to falls. There is a bird sanctuary across the street that is amazing. The Argentina side has 3 trails, upper, lower and Devils Throat. If you are limited in time I would recommend leaving upper trail out…although it is still a very good one.Written September 9, 2024
- AaronPollNYC_230 contributionsFind a better tour company option in IguazuHonestly, not great. TLDR: they don't really care about you having a good time and ignore very important details, and make a lot of mistakes. We went to Iguazu Falls. Maybe our representative wasn't experienced, or maybe he just didn't care. There were so many mistakes made, and all of them were avoidable. We had a group of four, but not all together - two groups of two, one couple coming from NYC and one couple from Chicago. My flight from NYC was delayed, which should be no issue for a tour company. But the the Chicago group was on time. So they messed up the pickup, and the Chicago group was stuck at the airport for an hour because Ripio cancelled their pickup, even though they were on time. Ok, bad start. Then they charged $39 per person to go to the first stop which was billed as a "half city tour and visit the 3 frontier landmark". There was no "half city tour" and the "visit" was basically nothing. No instruction, no assistance, we just parked there and walked around for 5 minutes. Next up: we booked a sunset boat cruise for night one, but it was cancelled due to weather. That's fine, but then he moved it to Tuesday and moved our Tango dinner show from Tuesday to Wednesday. Two problems here: the boat cruise was pretty bad, mostly senior citizens. And the tango show ended at 11pm on Wednesday...but we had a 2:15am pickup on Thursday to get to the airport. So he should have just left the tango show on Tuesday night and either cancelled the boat cruise or moved it from Monday to Wednesday, since it ended earlier in the night than the tango show. Or just tell us the boat cruise is for old people and let us decide. An experienced tour guide would have known not to book a late-night activity, when we had a flight so early the next morning. He had all the details, and clearly just wanted to check boxes instead of make sure we had a good time. All in all I wouldn't recommend them.Written May 29, 2024
- mjmostek0 contributionsAvoid Iguazu tours, maybe this company. We booked the Full Moon Puerto Iguaza tour. It was advertised as a small group tour of 15-20 people, which I thought justified the added cost versus booking directly with the park. Nope. They just drop you off at the entrance and you go on a tour with 150-200 people. Essentially you pay 150US for a 30 cab ride.Written April 7, 2024
- 778samo0 contributionsBest way to spend evening in IguazuWe had such a fun time! Can't imagine a better way to spend an evening in Puerto Iguazu. Enjoyed meeting the other guests as we engaged in cocktail mixing, empanada folding, and dining on a wide-array of appetizers and main meal, which included the most delicious filet mignon we've ever eaten. Our two hosts, Bruno and Mateo, were fantastic hosts and added a lot of fun to the evening. This experience stands out as a highlight in our 16-day trip and will be talked about for a long time to come!Written March 2, 2024

- 204alanm0 contributionsSuperb Argentina travel experienceI was a little nervous after selecting Ripio Turismo online but this business is 100% genuine, superb hotels, flights and arrangements. I was collected from airports & hotels, great trips arranged, excellent dinner show. They handled everything in a first class manner also very competitive prices, will book other South American trips with themWritten February 17, 2024
- Ilonka K0 contributionsFun day ! Highly recommend the horse back riding .Fully enjoyed the day ! Beautiful property and learned about the history of the ranch. We watched a demonstration of sheep herding and shearing. Participated in milking a cow as well as watching 2 rancheros competing in a horse barrel race. We added the 3 hour horse back ride and so glad we did. The luncheon was also Very good and plentiful .Written January 29, 2024
- Zantino0 contributionsLet down by TurisurVERY poor communication from the local agency. I requested an alternative pick- up to their office in Bariloche, as we were staying along the road towards the start point of the excursion. I received no response to 2 e-mails, and ended up driving to and from the starting point myself, and pay for parking, despite having paid for the transfer. That in itself was not the issue, but the failure of the company to respond was unacceptable. The trip itself was OK, but very much a herd experience. The scenery is dramatic and beautiful.Written January 29, 2024
- Dreamer593694806220 contributionsGreat way to spend the day!Fun day! The train ride was beautiful and informative. Quick stop to see the waterfall. Gorgeous scenery and loved seeing wild horses. The afternoon boat ride through the Beagle Channel was very pretty. Got to see so many birds and sea lions and the lighthouse. Enjoyed the quick stop and walk around on the island. A bit pricey but the whole day was really fun and a great way to spend the day and see the area!Written January 28, 2024
- Andre S0 contributionsAbsolutely fantastic visit to the penguinsAbsolutely amazing experience walking through this area full of penguins and their cute little babies! The trip was well organized, we received good information and everything flowed smoothly. The focus was just on the penguins, no other visits along the way, which was what we were after.Written January 10, 2024
- 379toniw0 contributionsGreat meal, even better experience.Expensive but worth it. Can you eat the same amount of meat for less money in Buenos Aires? Certainly. But you are unlikely to leave the table with as much new knowledge of the culture and ingredients that make this meal wonderful. Do the Malbec wine pairing. Worth every peso.Written January 8, 2024
- Corey P0 contributionsDon’t trust TripAdvisor1- our trip was canceled at 5:45 pm. I tried communicating with them through out the day, trying to confirm our excursion. They were not responsive or honest. Will not trust Trip Advisor sadlyWritten December 26, 2023
- Climber8119360 contributionsExcellentThe meal here is excellent but you need to pace yourself through the multitude of courses. Each one is small by itself but after 6 or 7 I felt full and did not appreciate the main steak course. I did have better steak at other restaurants in Argentina.Written November 27, 2023

- Idaole0 contributionsRip off for poor serviceI was not impressed with Ripio Turismo/Iguazu falls service. I am an experienced travel planner myself, and after having been traveling for 4 months I decided to leave the planing up to Ripio for one leg of my tour. I was booking the tour only a week in advance and hence was relying on fast communication. I did get this. But I had to ask to receive the vouchers when I had not received anything 24 hours prior to the trip. Moreover, the agent sent me wrong vouchers at least 3 times, which meant I had to triple check things last minute. There was a general lack of crucial information about the tour and the exact itinerary, and the questions I asked in my emails were not really answered. Finally, only once during the 4 days the trip lasted did someone contact me to inform me about timing of my upcoming activities or transfers. All other days I had to contact either Ripio or the local provider to ask when I was going to be picked up for the upcoming activity. There was a mix up of the tours each day, so when I thought I was going on a certain tour, I was picked up for another! Also, the agency erroneously booked a group trip for me when I had paid for a private. I joined a group of other tourists. We all had different schedules and the guide was frantically trying to do her best to accommodate everyone. For instance, I had lunch included at Iguazu, but only got 30 mins to enjoy a buffet and dessert one of the days so the others did not have to wait for me. So I did not manage to have dessert. The lunch was pricey, so that was a shame. In general, I had hoped for a trip where everything was planned for me and I did not have to worry about what was next, nor worry about the time. But I did not get any of that, so I feel this trip was a total rip off for the service I got. I will never use Ripio again.Written November 11, 2023

Our experience with the tour was exceptional. Our full itinerary was a full day on the Argentine side the first day, and on the second day we visited the Brazilian side of the falls plus Itaipu Dam and the Parque das Aves.
Our guides and drivers really made the experience amazing. They were knowledgeable on a wide range of topics. And most importantly to me, they treated my children with kindness and understanding.

Iguazu Falls is a must see. You can't imagine what it is truly like until you see it for yourself. I highly recommend doing both the Brazilian and Argentine sides of the falls. From Brazil you get the full panoramic view. From Argentina you get the up close, on top of experience. Having a guide is very helpful and saves a lot of time when it comes to crossing the border. Our guide also helped us easily add on the boat experience. Don't skip the boat. You'll get drenched but it's totally worth it. One tip that no one mentioned on other reviews is that there is a place to change clothes and store things you don't want to get wet. Some people even wore swimsuits. Book this trip, you'll be glad you did.

The Argentina side of this tour was absolutely excellent. 6/5. A small group of 6, the guide was knowledgable and passionate, the day well structured and fun.
In regards to the Brazilian side.... I did not enjoy this so much. It was not so well arranged, the group was much larger and less cohesive.... and while the guide (a different guide) may have been every bit as knowledgeable, the group was too large and he was less able to focus of any individuals... was too busy herding starys.
The day less structured, and had less stuff to do.

Despite a constant drizzle during our stay, the visit to both sides of the Iguazu Falls was a once in a lifetime event. We stayed at the Belmond Hotel des Cataracas on the Brazilian side. Pricey, but worth it for the proximity to the trail along the Brazilian side of the Falls. And the included breakfasts were great including juices from fruits that grow in tropical rainforests. We toured the Argentinian side with guide Antonio Achiti, who made everything go smoothly. Highlight was the power boat ride up and IN to the falls. If you go, be sure to allow for at least two days to see this magnificent chasm.

Brilliant two day tour - knowledgeable guides. The guide for the Argentinian side was especially helpful in pointing out wildlife and flora and fauna I wouldn’t have noticed otherwise, and in giving interesting commentary that made the trip very memorable. Worth every penny in my opinion 😊.

The arrangements made by Lucia Rubio were prompt and professional. The taxi and airline booking were done well. Having traveled from California, we had to prompt the taxis and agent the day before to verify the appointment to feel comfortable. But they were prompt and courteous. The tour guide was good and knowledgeable. We covered amazing views from Argentina's and Brazil’s sides of the Iguazu Falls, including a helicopter tour. The weather also cooperated to make our trip comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, the trip was excellent.

Excellent communication by email, every question answered clearly. Our 2 day trip went so smoothly from airport pick up from our hotel to drop off.
We hadn’t booked any add-ones to our 2 day package but our lovely guides, on both Argentinian and Brazilian sides, were more than happy to arrange extra activities.
Always a bit of anxiety when you book with a company you’ve never heard of, living in Europe, but they met our expectations and more
Thanks guys for a memorable 2 days!

The tour was great. Junior did a great job of navigating us around the falls. They made all of the border crossing super easy. The helicopter ride was awesome. They were very friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommended.

We went to Puerto Iguazu for a 2 nights and felt that was enough. We organized our own flight there and back to Buenos Aires. We also booked our own hotel The Saint George. We booked this hotel because it was in the village and wanted to be near restaurants. The hotel was very clean, friendly and bkfst. was included. Good selection at bkfst. They had a very good pool area. Nice to come back to after a full day tour. We did book a tour with Say Hueque. The Falls are in a rain forest and they seem to popping out everywhere. You get up so close to them that you actually get wet from them on some of the walkways. We also took a boat that takes you under some of the Falls. You have no rain gear so you get soaked. They do give you a bag for your belongs to take with you so they don't get wet. It was excelerating. The only small downside was that our guide spoke minimal English so didn't talk too much about the rainforest itself. I noticed other guides pointing out the flora etc. The half day tour of the Brazilian side was worth a visit. If you have come this far do it. Our guide for this side of the Falls spoke good English and was very informative. This trip was a dream come true.

If in Argentina, you really must experience the Falls, from both sides if possible. We did have some criticisms of the organisation of our trips in that one of our guides was quite aggressive and much more interested in informing her Spanish speaking clients. Also, clients would be better served if all entry fees were included in the overall cost, as they were for US party on our trip. In particular, this would avoid the necessity of having to have Brazilian currency for the entry fees on that side of the Falls as they don't take card payments! We could have done with knowing this before we arrived. Having said that, the Falls are a must see and we would recommend the optional boat trip on which you can guarantee getting soaking wet.

i don't have visa of Argentina,is it possible for me to go to both sides of iguazu to take a look
Written April 19, 2021
Not the one I was on - but, there are plenty of tours which include the boat ride - your best bet is to just book it once you're in the park so you can choose when it's convenient. REMEMBER...the boat ride from Brazil is MUCH better than from the Argentina side because the Argentina side requires a rather strenuous hike (but not for more than 20 minutes), whereas the Brazil side has the funicular.

Hi, would we need to have both Visa's for Argentina/Brasil before we can do this?
Written November 4, 2019
I dont know... I am not working for a travel agancy, i'am merely a turist. I guess you would need visas from both countries. To witch you could ask the embassy

Hi, there
I really want to join the trip, but I have 2 questions not sure about that
First one is about visa, I’m Chinese so the Brazil’s visa are required, I need to do it my myself before I go?
Second one is about the return time on second day, my flight in 7.17pm, would it’s possible to catch my flight?
It’s very helpful for me , thanks very much
I travel by myself

Suerte!
