We had recommendations from friends and other travellers to see Iguazu from both sides. They were so right. The AR side brings you close to the water the falls and the wildlife. The BR side while much more developed and commercial provides panoramic views and a sense of the whole massive curtain of falling water.
Our guide, Carolina, was with us both days. She was skillful in making the tour feel very much like a private tour for us and also for the Argentinian family of 6 that we shared the bus with. She made it all easy including the frontier crossings. We were able to relax and enjoy this beautiful spot in the world. Could not have had a better guide.

Both the Argentinian and Brasilian side tours were excellent. Argentina is best for getting close up to a number of falls while the Brasilian side offers panoramic views. Both guides, Diego (Argentina) and Ivette (Brasil) were both knowledgeable and very personable. Our driver, Ernesto, also made us feel at ease and was always on time for pickups. Our group was four people for Argentina and three for Brasil, so we were treated as individuals and not as a herd. Kudos for this tour.

We went to Puerto Iguazu for a 2 nights and felt that was enough. We organized our own flight there and back to Buenos Aires. We also booked our own hotel The Saint George. We booked this hotel because it was in the village and wanted to be near restaurants. The hotel was very clean, friendly and bkfst. was included. Good selection at bkfst. They had a very good pool area. Nice to come back to after a full day tour. We did book a tour with Say Hueque. The Falls are in a rain forest and they seem to popping out everywhere. You get up so close to them that you actually get wet from them on some of the walkways. We also took a boat that takes you under some of the Falls. You have no rain gear so you get soaked. They do give you a bag for your belongs to take with you so they don't get wet. It was excelerating. The only small downside was that our guide spoke minimal English so didn't talk too much about the rainforest itself. I noticed other guides pointing out the flora etc. The half day tour of the Brazilian side was worth a visit. If you have come this far do it. Our guide for this side of the Falls spoke good English and was very informative. This trip was a dream come true.

If in Argentina, you really must experience the Falls, from both sides if possible. We did have some criticisms of the organisation of our trips in that one of our guides was quite aggressive and much more interested in informing her Spanish speaking clients. Also, clients would be better served if all entry fees were included in the overall cost, as they were for US party on our trip. In particular, this would avoid the necessity of having to have Brazilian currency for the entry fees on that side of the Falls as they don't take card payments! We could have done with knowing this before we arrived. Having said that, the Falls are a must see and we would recommend the optional boat trip on which you can guarantee getting soaking wet.

After a 14 day cruise around South America from Chile to Buenos Aires we flew up to Igazu Falls on the border between Argentina and Brazil and spent 3 days looking at the falls in March 2019. We had an excellent local guide and had extensive walks and boat rides very close to the falls

Absolutely amazing! Although the tour was booked as “English speaking”, of the 30 or so people on the tour, I was the only English speaker. The tour guide, “Jala” (Natalia), made sure that I was fully informed and explained everything to me personally. She answered all my questions and was extremely helpful and insightful. By the end of the tour, all of the other tour members knew who I was and although they spoke no English, were very friendly and welcoming. The falls are stunningly beautiful and are a must see while your are in Argentina, Brazil or Paraguay.

Very well organized, the guides were very good! Bonus points for small groups that are easy to manage and avoid crowds. 1.5 days is the minimum; the speed boat is a must!
Amazing place that is worth every cent to visit!

...and I am pretty-well traveled. It's hard to imagine anything as stunning as Iguazu. I'd seem photos, which is what prompted me to go...but I was unprepared for the depth of the beauty. 1 day on the Argentina side and one HALF day on the Brazil side is enough; however, you'll never WANT to leave.

Does this trip include a boat ride to the falls?
Jeffrey B

Not the one I was on - but, there are plenty of tours which include the boat ride - your best bet is to just book it once you're in the park so you can choose when it's convenient. REMEMBER...the boat ride from Brazil is MUCH better than from the Argentina side because the Argentina side requires a rather strenuous hike (but not for more than 20 minutes), whereas the Brazil side has the funicular.
Hi, would we need to have both Visa's for Argentina/Brasil before we can do this?

I dont know... I am not working for a travel agancy, i'am merely a turist. I guess you would need visas from both countries. To witch you could ask the embassy

Hi, there
I really want to join the trip, but I have 2 questions not sure about that
First one is about visa, I’m Chinese so the Brazil’s visa are required, I need to do it my myself before I go?
Second one is about the return time on second day, my flight in 7.17pm, would it’s possible to catch my flight?
It’s very helpful for me , thanks very much
I travel by myself

Yo pase por Ciudad del Este sólo porque mi hija necesitaba comprar algo que consiguio a mitad de precio argentino. Pero es insoportable: la gente te persigue ofreciendote cosas, no se puede caminar por la calle. A mi parecer obviamente

We are planning a trip to Iguazu falls in early November 2019. Will mosquitoes be a problem? Any vaccination recommendations?

Suerte!

How do we book this tour. Also please can I get help in booking transport toPuerto Iguazú
We will be traveling from Buenos Aires to puerto Iguazú
Do you pick up at hotels in Foz do Iguacu? And how long is the half day tour of the brazilian side? We would like the do the brazil side and then the Argentina side, as we arrive in Brail around mid day.
