Iguazu Falls and Panoramic Grand Hotel
Dec 2019 • Couples
Both sides of the Falls are amazing. However, the guide Carlos on the Argentina part of the tour was only speaking in Spanish even though it was supposed to be a bilingual tour. Unless asked a question, he would only address the Spanish speaking people.
However, the guide Miriann for the Brazil part of the tour was very professional and helpful. She would give her narrative in both English and Spanish and was very polished.
We are still debating which side of the Falls is better. We stayed at Panoramic Grand Hotel in Puerto Iguazu in Argentina which was absolutely fabulous. I would strongly recommend this hotel for the service, food and value for money.

Great tour and great value
Dec 2019
The falls from both the Argentine side and the Brazilian side were magnificent. Both tour guides and van drivers were excellent, and the overall value of the tour was very good. I would definitely recommend this tour.

The guide on the Argentinian side took no interest in us who just spoke English. The group was too big for just one guide.
The guide on the Brazilian side was excellent. Caring, observant and very informative.
Overview a beautiful trip and everything was very punctual!

Excellent experience
Nov 2019
We purchased a tour package that included airport transfers in and out and tours to the Argentinian and Brazilian sides of the park on separate days. Everything went very smoothly. Pickups were on time and in comfortable buses or vans. The Argentina group was a bit large so it was confusing at first, but everything worked out well. The park is crowded, so be prepared for jostling. But it is a spectacular place and we highly recommend seeing both sides because they are beautiful in different ways. We did the Brazil tour the same day as our flight back to the US but the tour was well organized and we never felt stressed out about getting back time. One thing to note - we asked for an English tour and in Argentina we were put on a bus where the guide spent most of the time speaking Spanish. There should have been equal time spent on English, or else a separate bus for the English speakers because there were certainly enough of us. Other than that, a very well managed and organized tour experience of Iguazu.

Awesome views!
Aug 2019
At the advice or our guide Marco we split the tours. Doing the Argentina side the first day and the Brazilian side the next day. Marco was great. He said everything in spanish and english. We were picked up at the hotel by the bus. At the park you can pay by credit or debit card. There were lots of trails and Marco staid with the group. There is a break for lunch and there are two fast food and one buffet to choo from. We ate at the buffet. Great food and cold beers. The area around the restaurants is full or wildlife. If you eat outside watch your food. The birds and raccoons will take it. There are also monkeys and iguanas. Jonathan was our guide on the Brazilian side. You need your passport since you enter Brazil. The guide takes all the passports in to get them stamped both going in and coming out. You get closer to the falls on this side. Not as far to walk. We had time to do some geocaching at both parks and found several. This is a must do if in the area. By taking this tour you get to see more of the fall. Both on top and at the water level. Absolutely awesome! The bus takes you back to your hotel at the end of the tour.

A must see!
Jul 2019
Definitely take the time to see both sides of Falls. We did both sides in one day due to time constraints. Boat tour is 2 hours so we couldn’t do that though highly recommended. The Falls are breathtaking, mystical, beauty all around. You won’t be sorry!

Worth visiting both sides of the falls
Jul 2019 • Solo
Spent an afternoon (time to walk around the town, visit Las Tres Frontiers (where the rivers meet and you can see Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay), then two days visiting the falls (one day from the Argentinian side and one from the Brazilian).

It was really worth going to both sides. They say Brazil for the views and Argentina for the experience and that is right, but if you only have a day, then I would definitely opt for Argentina. You walk right through the falls and there is much more variety.

The train that operates for the longer track on the Argentinian side seemed to often have long queues and waits, so better to walk if you can. Or to pick up your ticket and if there is a wait of an hour, that was enough time for me to do the lower circuit walk (quickly) and get back for the train. I then return to the lower curcuit later when it was quieter.

Going through the border took quite a long time, but I had got the 9.30 bus and it was rush hour. Much quicker on the return. Buses to both sides of the falls go fom the bus station (gate 11 for Argentina and 10 for Brazil).

Beware the entrance process. I was charged a fee (a number of times!) for a card that was in fact refused and am still chasing that up (though this was a pretty common experience for me in Argentina - even in the bank of Galicia).

Excellent day trip
Thoroughly worth it. Very well organised tour, informative and friendly guide. Quite a bit of walking, but you get right out over the waterfalls via steel walkways.

Just awesome
Very impressive tour. Just check if you are on the right one. I was on a bus only for the Argentinian side but the tour guide managed it very well and I was able to see both side. Don’t do just one side :)

Good and organized
It turned out to be a one and a half day tour. They provide hotel pick up and transfer on both days. I was lucky that I had a spare day and can enjoy the longer and comprehensive trips from both Argentina and Brazil sides. However, if you don't have a spare day, please really double check with the local tour operator ahead so that you would not miss the Brazil side (with a good panoramic view of the entire iguazu falls).
