About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 309harlees0 contributionsAdequate - but disappointingThe guide was very nice and accommodating. The choice of wineries was the issue. The second one (Vina el Cerno) was quite shabby (and not in the “chic” way) … unattractive and rundown. The third one (Vistandes) was very “clinical” - as another traveler said, it feels like an airport, and seemed contrived. The first winery - Esencia - was great, and the olive oil plant was interesting. … For the money, I would definitely suggest planning your own tour and selecting some of the much better and beautiful wineries. There are SO many here, so why this tour picked those is odd and disappointing.Written August 25, 2024
- ronec980 contributionsWell-paced experiencequite a good experience, visit 3 winery and 1 oliver factory, which is a super good day. learned a lot knowledge about the wine and oliverWritten August 14, 2024
- suerohde0 contributionsIt was a really nice afternoon.I loved this tour. I'd never been to a winery before, and we also got to tour an olive oil factory, which was also a first for me. We really enjoyed it and learned something. The wine was all terrific, and many people bought bottles. It was also more fun doing this as a group rather than all alone. We talked to people from all over the world.Written July 18, 2024
- Journey315602878550 contributionsWine & Olive Oil TourThe best part of this experience was the lunch in La Casona restaurant. The service, food and wine tasting experience was superb and intimate. We would have loved to purchase bottles of wine from this winery but we were rushed for time by the tour operator, Delores. We then met up with a larger group to tour other wineries for the remainder of the tour. The English speaking guides at each winery were helpful. The olive oil factory tour was awesome.Written July 8, 2024
- Rossland580 contributionsA great in introduction to the Mendoza wine areaWe enjoyed our tour and found the guide excellent, and our hosts at each place we visited were also knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. The wineries and olive oil plant were interesting and the tastings generous.Written June 8, 2024
- rebeccasR6597TO0 contributionsGreat value, lots of funWe loved this tour! Really well organized, the bus was clean and new, and our guide was friendly and helpful. The stops were great - we learned a lot and were able to try many different wines and olives and oils. Very good price for what you receive. Definitely recommended!Written May 28, 2024
- Gregory B0 contributionsAbsolutely worth the money. This was an incredible experience. We visited 3 different wineries. Two traditional and one modern. We also visited an olive farm. Everything was delicious and everyone was super nice.Written May 22, 2024
- S7375DMgiovannig0 contributionsAmazing wine tour in Mendoza with lunch in La CasonaThe tour was very good! We enjoyed the lunch in La Casona (Los finales): location, service and food were very good! Then the wine tour was also interesting and well done! We enjoy the guide explanations. We visited 3 different wine Bodegas with 3/4 wine testing each. Plus we visited an oil factory where we tried the different olive oil produced, after getting an explanation how the oil is produced. The whole experience was great!Written May 10, 2024
- Pioneer397984350290 contributionsA wonderful complete tour! This was a great experience! Dolores is wonderful and very dynamic. The visits to the wineries and the olive oil factory were super interesting. The best of it is that you are able to see different methods and different aspects of the wine industry. - 797ingerc0 contributionsA nice way to taste wines very unique to Mendoza. We visited 3 wineries and 1 olive oil manufacturer. The wineries indicated when I confirmed the tour were not the wineries we visited. The tasting included very sweet wines, a Malbec or Malbec blended wine, and marsalas.Written February 20, 2024

Great tour that picked us up from our hotel (not on their list) and dropped us back too. Our Guide Giselle and driver Carlos were professional and friendly. Giselle bounced back and forth from Spanish (most of the guests) to English (6 of us), and even threw in a little Brazilian Portugese to keep everyone comfortable.
First, be aware that this is a long trip, so plan accordingly. It also goes from the warmth of Mendoza to exposed Andean passes. We got lucky that day, it was sunny and dry until we got back to the flatlands, but other trips are not so lucky. So bring layers and plan for weather, good or bad. Also, you are very high up, over 12,000 feet (nearly 4,000 meters), so wear sunscreen even if it is cold. And drink water, lots of water, dehydration will hit you hard, between altitude, the winds and sun.
We loved the Inca Bridge, Punta del Incas. It is both a natural bridge and the remnants of a hot spring, plus part of what once was a road connecting this area to the Incan Empire. Also the Christ the Redeemer Statue is a magnificent location, on a high mountain pass at the border of Chile and Argentina. There are spectacular views from there of high glaciers and mountains.
The lunch stop was nice, with good cafeteria style food choices. Plus several stops on the way allowed us to take photos, have a restroom break, and grab some water or snacks.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour into the Andes. Our guide, Romina, spoke English quite well and, as we were the only English-speakers, she made an extra effort to repeat the info for us. Very enjoyable and well worth the cost.

Fantastic tour across incredible mountain ranges under noteworthy guide with geological and historical knowledge added to very entertaining storytelling, and at last but not least experienced driver on a very good condition vehicle. I had a remarkable experience; never to forget in life!!

The views are beautiful, the bus was fine. It was a long day, made longer because the guide did not leave at the scheduled times-the 20 min stops lasted 40. The last because she was talking to other guides and drivers. She blasted her music which distracted from enjoying the beautiful Andes.
The Spanish portion of her talks were much longer than the English although about 1/2 the bus was English speaking. There was almost no explanation of the geology of the Andes.
The walk was 10 mins 220 meters.
There was only a small chocolate/wine store at the lunch stop, so there was not much to do for the hour plus we were there.
I’m attaching the what’s app communications we received around 8-9 pm the night before from the office telling us we might have to wait 45 mins for a pick up , that we should have booked a private tour if we didn’t want to wait & that they might cancel or change portions of the trip & that lunch was not good at the lunch stop.we enjoyed our wine tasting lunch UCO-you got to see the Andes and much more enjoyable.

Beautiful Scenery! Interesting commentary and history. Unfortunately, our van was completely full, with no PA system, so the commentary was hard to hear. However, Ornella, our guide was very patient with us, and answered our questions completely.
Overall, we enjoyed our trip, and would definitely recommend it to others.

Very enjoyable day in the Andes. The hotel pick-up was punctual and the bus comfortable. The tour visits 5-6 different locations, and there was very helpful explanations and information provided throughout by our wonderful guide. I was the only non-Spanish speaker, but she took the time to explain everything, and all done with a smile! Would throughly recommend, and a great way to see the spectacular Andes.

We had a very relaxed day in the van, being brought from place to place and getting excellent information along the way. Our guide Esteban, a local from Mendoza, was extremely knowledgeable and knew how to transmit his love for his birthplace, which we appreciated very much. All in all a great day, although I would have loved to move some more 😅

This was not the trip for me. It was basically a long day in a bus with stops for pictures and shopping. I was able to take a little solo hike while the rest of the group had lunch, which saved the day. Also, the guide, while nice, was piercingly loud and kept up a constant flow of not very informative information. This trip would be best for people who are older and less active.

It is an enjoyable drive all the way to Aconcagua Mountain. The guide was well-prepared to talk about the different areas we drove through. The only questionable point is where we stopped for lunch. It was a very cold, windy, and snowy day. The premises of the ‘restaurant’ were rudimentary. The floor was wet, and muddy, and the bathroom was dirty. Not an inviting place to eat. It was sort of BANDEJAO. Apart from that, a good tour.

The views and experience are incredible. It is a long, full day, but the team were amazing. The van can be a little tight for United States sized people, but this is a must for any trip to the area. The food stop was delicious and there are several opportunities to pick up souvenirs. The leader gave explanations in Spanish and in English for the English speakers. It's very educational and boy, the views are incomparable. Our Airbnb wasn't on the pickup list, but they were kind enough to come to us for pickup. I cannot recommend this enough!

Hola. Me gustaría saber si en caso de un mal temporal como lluvia o nieve, la excursión se realiza igual? De ser así, la parada en el Cristo se lleva a cabo? En el caso de que no se lleve a cabo se realiza algún reembolso? Gracias.
